It's a generic character, he's from a game that offers not much in terms of moveset potential. And there are far far far more deserving franchises that NEED repping in smash as well as FAR more unique and more requested characters than this guy.

Wasn't Smash released in December 2018? I'm aware of the datamine and how stupid that is, im just wondering what happened between March 7 and 8 to make a jump like that happened. From what I searched there was nothing Dragon Quest related that was announced. Those dates just seem weird.
