Name one (1) franchise where the sequel has more SOUL than the original which is SOULLESS

I prefer the atmosphere of Rare's DKC and the more realistic textures they used in some character designs, but Tropical Freeze was one of the best platformers to have ever come out and definitely had soul. David Wise did all of the music - how could it not?
