i dont mean it, im just bumping for you user
Is this coming out on PS4?
Let's be real, did anyone give a shit about Fugo?
Don't think so... But there are rumors of there being a Switch game?
I wanted to see what cool scenarios came as part of a STAND that one of the protagonists couldn't actually control. I was disappointed by the literally needless opt-out.
i still like him.
I could understand why. He was initially set up for something greater which was scrapped.
This. One of the biggest disappointments of part 5 for me.
He was my self insert
Part 5 should have been just been longer in general, that way Araki could have let all the characters grow into themselves more.
Jojo is so fucking kino I swear
part 5 was very different... Their main goal was the bossu from the very start and I think that's why it felt shorter than it is. The other seasons have had goalposts throughout, but this straight just has two very important noteworthy parts, bossu pt1 and bossu pt2. None of them which last very long tbf.
I concur, and I think this style works very well. I just think that it should have been either less characters so we get more fleshing out, or just more fights so that all the characters get their chance to exist.
This shit was fucking orgasmic
>that WRRRRRRRRRYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY
yeah. I think most of the char development fell short for some due to other's taking place, like Narancia had a way better development and more intact emotions for the audience than Mista did. Mista straight up was portrayed with less flaws from the start but ended getting the short end of the stick most of the time. Fugo had so much potential, too but never got the proper chance outside of that once part. We kept being told how much of an aggressive character he is and how his emotions are imbalanced but yet he didn't do much but self-hate.
I am however, very excited for dummy thicc secco and everything that follows to the end in the anime. I'm glad at least Jojo is getting good animation as opposed to one punch. Though I do wish the intros to part 5 were more in the likes of part 1-4, where it has OG art and not just straight up taken from episodes that spoil directly.
the edit of this fucking vid is good. You want 2 page muda? MOOORE MOOOOORE.
I concur wholeheartedly.
>part 5
> more fights
That's all part 5 was man. Just constant fights.
I guess either more fights or down time. Just something to let characters like Fugo or Trish actually come into their own a little more.
are they gonna animate purple haze feedback
What was it?
I did. What wasted potential for a character.
nah, it built up to the fights. Most of the time was
>nani?! it's the bossus henchmen!
>part of the team fighting whilst the other team has no idea what's going on
>mista shoots enemy but bullets ironically are deflected and hit him instead - every time
>enemies are gaying up in conversation before and during attack
part 5 was good but the way the fights were handled were a bit poor in comparison to say part 3 and 4. Part 2 was slower.
Part 5 and 6 are shit.
Alright user, what cool stand idea did YOU come up with? I'll start.
>Once in a Lifetime
>None in Power
>None in Speed
>None in Range
>E in Durability
>D in Precision
>E in Potential
>The user experiences a vague premonition of the following day. When they wake up, they'll forget everything that will happen unless they write it down or force themselves to remember. When the event they foresee eventually comes, they can either let it play out naturally, or force fate to change.
>However, if they change fate, the end result will be of equal weight. If they stop themselves from stubbing their toe, they might slam their fingers in a door. If they stop themselves from winning the lottery, they might find the girl of their dreams. But if they stop themselves from dying, something will happen that will make them try to commit suicide.
Would've been cool to see Purple Haze vs Green Day. A battle of the viruses.
He was supposed to be taken in by the boss thanks to his loyalty to passione and then fight Bruno and Co. under his orders but araki pussied out. Prolly cause purple Haze is too stronk.
I remember reading that's also why Giorno was given immunity to Fugo's virus, so Giorno could actually kill Fugo.
Secco is dummy thicc and a perfect goodboy
I think I might have this stand IRL
that's messed up.
I'll give you a basic one in the jojo sense.
>Stand name: Cosmic dancer
>i'll skip the stats but it's ability has 10m range and itself has 2m, ok in power, speed etc.
>Causes anyone who enters it's area to go blind and lose sense of gravity, their internal compass just gets fucked as if they were floating in vacuum.
>stand user is also affected but has a tight grip of how to move around due to practice.
another user came up with the name good vibrations to which I thought it would be cool if they through resonance would be able to change the structure of atoms and that being it's limitations. For example, you can change the shape ofa phone to a knife, but it's only limited by the number of atoms it has. So an apple can turn into a banana but it's size and volume will be dependent on how many atoms the apple consists of.
that would've been pretty fucking good though. Honestly, what a waste of a character. Specially since Giorno would be the immune one and it would set up for a more personal fight than any other before the bossu.
>Starman
>Can manipulate light and colors. For example, the user can bend light away from the body, effectively making the user invisible. Can also create visual illustrations by bending the light and colors to form images . Light emitted comes from the prism in the core of the stand.
>Sub ability: Blackstar
-Turns all color in the area to black, effectively blinding everyone except for the user. The blackness swallows all light, and nothing can penetrate it. The prism in the center shines brightly before emitting darkness, giving it away.
My stand idea is almost too good to share with you guys but I'll give it up anyways (OC plz no steal)
1. My stand has no inherent abilities of it's own.
2. It perfectly emulates any stand within a 100-meter radius (if jotaro is nearby, my stand is a 1-for-1 carbon copy of Star Platinum with every ability he currently has)
3. If more than 1 stand is in a 100-meter radius I have more than 1 stand (if jotaro Joseph and kakyoin are all nearby, I have star platinum and purple hermit and hierophant green copies all under my control)
For this reason I find the most powerful stand user I can to accompany me, without them nearby I'm useless. But the good news is they don't have to actually use their stand, just be within 100 meters of me. So if I am battling someone, they don't know I'm copying a stand at all, they think it's just me and them and everyone else around us is a civilian. Until I whip out my clone of their stand after having ample time to figure out it's abilities. Obviously my stand is very powerful, idk how I would beat it except have my inexperience with the stand I'm copying after eliminating my "bodyguard" be my downfall (ex. Golden Wind can be used many different ways, since it's giorno stand he can probably come up with ways to use it that I can't to beat me)
I would appreciate name suggestions.
I see part 5 already got its Netflix adaptation
>purple haze feedback
Isn't that a made up stand from that shitty novel?
I actually used to lucid dream a lot, I still do but not as often, and for a couple years I would dream that I was a Stand user with a pretty cool Stand. It happened often enough that I got petty good at controlling and using it too. It was called Don't Stop Me Now and it gave me computer editing powers over objects and people within my range. For example if I were trapped in a room, I could just use my stand power on a wall and program a door or hole into it, or if I wanted to attack from below, just program the ground where an enemy is standing to form spikes. If my teammate was injured, I just read their source code, repair the damaged string, and their injury heals just like that. Or if I could catch an opponent directly, I could mess with their bodies code, like hey guess what, you got too close to me and now your legs don't work, or I turned off your eyes, too bad loser. In a way it worked kind of like Heaven's Door but with a more specifically computer and programming motif.
No it's the name of a novel featuring fugo as the main character
purple haze feedback is the name of the novel dingus
>plebs never read feedback or golden heart golden ring talking shit about fugo
you have to go back
he's got the coolest stand in part 5
I don’t get the “part 5 sucks” meme. I kept reading this all the time before the anime came out so I was super worried. Now I just know people have shit tastes
Non-canon shit doesn't redeem a canonically shit character. Even if Araki himself liked it, it's never been made canon.
POLNAREFF NEXT WEEK
How is this man so fucking hot?
I want Bruno to unzip my pants, put his Sticky Fingers around my dick and taste my sweat
>golden heart golden ring
>non-canon
>wahwah read my non canon shit
>light novel written by literally who with illustrations by Araki
>"""""canon"""""
plebs gonna pleb
>i-i know better than araki
no you don't retard
>GioGio's Bizarre Adventure 2: Golden Heart, Golden Ring is a light novel written by Miya Shotaro and Gichi Otsuka, with illustrations by Hirohiko Araki; released in both Japanese and Italian. It tells an original story based on Vento Aureo.
> written by Miya Shotaro and Gichi Otsuka
> original story
>based on Vento Aureo.
Araki did illustrations for Feedback Jorge Joestar and that doesn't make them canon either.
Nice reading comprehension. That shit is just as much canon as all the other shit Araki only did illustrations for. Keep coping.
>OP has a problem about a videogame
>thread immediately derails to the anime/manga of that videogame
not vidya, go back to Yea Forums
Oh no, the thread derailed, like 99% of all threads on Yea Forums. What are you gonna do about it, cuck?
>wiki fans
oh no no no call me when araki himself says it's non-canon, you retards have no say beyond copying and pasting an article you've read more of than the actual source LOL
oH nO
People are TALKING ABOUT THE SUBJECT MATTER of the game how fucking tragic
I thought he was an interesting character with a cool stand. I was looking forward to seeing what fights Araki could make for Purple Haze.
I'm fine with him leaving. In context it makes sense. His boss basically signed all of their death warrants to save a girl they had met not even a week prior. He was smart enough to realize they probably wouldn't even make it out of Venice alive, let alone be able to hunt down a man whose identity even capos weren't privy to. The fact that every one of his teammates decided to join Bruno on his suicide mission must have seemed even more insane to him than the request itself.
Araki was planning to kill him off, but he was sad about something and wrote him out.
based feedback chad
the novel is cannon till proven otherwise
You dumb fucking cunt why are you so fucking retarded? Die in a ditch cunt
I know. I think Araki's last minute workaround for getting Fugo out of the story without having him betray the gang was the best possible method. It made sense story-wise, and didn't force even more despair on the story than was already there. Fugo's betrayal would've been so crushing after Abacchio's death and the reveal that Bruno was on borrowed time.
I really couldn't imagine being as dense as you are
I wish someone like arcsys would make a 1v1 jojo fighter similar to ASB
It wasn't just to save some girl, it was to overthrow the boss because they all agreed what he was doing was wrong. The way Fugo left made him seem like a bitch who pussied out on his bros because he was scared. At that point Diavolo knew who they all were and had tried to kill all of them, suddenly tucking his tail between his legs and sayin "oh I'm so sorry mister boss man it won't happen again" wouldn't have solved anything for him. It was about honor and loyalty, about sticking with his homies, and Fugo didn't. I get that he was written out very suddenly, but honestly him turning out to be a bad guy would have been more satisfying that him turning out to be a bitch with no spine to stand by his friends.
this guy gets it
Araki never said anything like that
I'm just glad people are finally getting to enjoy Vento more properly. Maybe people in the west will stop assuming it sucks because of a poor translation.
「Within You Without You」
I'm pretty hype for my boi Polnareff
I had one
>Stand name: Little Know It All
>Stand power: A stand able to make semi impossible physical feats. Teleport you wherever, make you invisible, turn off power, cancel every noise around you, etc, there's a lot of potential. The catch is that the stand, whenever you ask it to do something, it makes you one trivia question you have to answer correctly. Answer wrong and it will refuse to help for a set amount of time. Think about it as a neutral stand, like Dragon's Dream, except it's not able to help anyone but yourself
I never thought about the stats, so idk
This game is never on sale. Fucking Bandai. You had it at $5 once. ls it worth still buying it? l want to play it but l don't even have my PS3 connected anymore. Chance for port?
It's pretty fun. Story mode will take you around 3 hours. You have to pay for like 8 more characters if you want the full roster.
this whole ass thread and not one person even tried to help OP lmao
The only reason he couldn't control it was because he was stick in the mirror world you fucking nigger
I genuinely didn't know this was a real game, I thought it was like that joke where everyone pretends It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia is an MMO or something, and I thought the OP was making a joke about Fugo fucking off
Yeah, l don't mind buying all the DLC. Just would like a port on PS4 more but it's probably unlikely. Also, why are physical versions of ASB expensive as shit?
I can understand him trying to kill his daughter, but why is him selling drugs made out to be such a big deal? He's just trying to run a business. Fugo was a coward but he was being reasonable.
is probably the best jojo game desu the ps1/2 and sufami games are pretty good too though
but i haven't played eyes of heaven either
Nope
asb is really only good for fanservice though, as a fighting game it's pretty fucking whack and heritage beats it by a mile. great roster though, even if it lacks a lot of cool p6/p7 characters
Heritage is better on merit of actually being fun to play. ASB feels sluggish as fuck. Better than EoH but that isn't saying much.
Side Scrolling Fighters >>>>>>> Shit >>>>>> Arena Fighters
Fugo was pretty cool, especially why you start to figure why he hates his stand. His book is pretty cool too.
this desu, if we had a jojo fighting game with the best of both worlds, ASB's fanservice and HFTF's gameplay, everything in the world would be okay.
that and fixing the terrible balance heritage had
Hol Horse?
>asb is really only good for fanservice though
that's kinda what i meant
imported day one and it was fun asf when it first dropped i heard eoh was absolute shit so i've been avoiding it but i get tempted every time it gets a sale
B-But muh mid tier!
>Tfw madeup stands with all my jobros
>Crossing the Frame
>B in Power
>A in Speed
>None in range
>D in Durability
>C in Percision
>C in Potential
The ability emulates teleportation, where the reality of it is the abilty to rapidly shrink an object, push it, and regrow it. The force pushes the micro-object at incredible speeds, and when the item regrows, it creates a small shockwave with strength relative to its size.
It's cope passed down from the olden days when finding translated JoJo was an impossibility so people upheld the parts they could get (3 and 4) while deriding the rest. 7 was so good they just couldn't pretend anymore
7>2>8>5>4>1>6>3
He did, look it up. He was depressed during Part 5 and thought that writing a story where friends betray each other was too much.
i preordered the japanese version as well, still have the hayato face with heaven's door's ability with the dlc and everything. the game could have been great but it was bogged down by the developers not having any real experience with fighting games, that and some other bizarre shit like that proto-gacha system for unlocking costumes and poses
i wasn't talking specifically about hol (even though he is kind of cancer), a lot of shit is just balanced really weirdly in that game
>still have the hayato face with heaven's door's ability with the dlc and everything
same
I'm surprised you were even able to tell part 7 was good with taste that abysmal.
Feedback anime soon
His a better fighter than mista and I love mista
>It's cope passed down from the olden days
All of the phrases involving cope is getting out of hand.
Why the fuck is everyone hyping up the part 5 anime? Like it’s okay but it’s not that great. Some scenes are butchered and they all look like they have the same face. Part 4 anime had more soul.
It kinda makes sense. I never thought Fugo developed as much as the other characters. Their flashback sequences that explain why they ended up in the gang seemed like they had a nice ending where the character evolved past who they were, but Fugo didn't quite have that. He was a pissed off autist then and he was a pissed off autist from what we saw of him before he wimped out.
Great input my guy.
the netcode was fucking terrible as well, that game as a whole felt like a monkey's paw wish.
Convince me to read parts 6-8 after the end of the part 5 show
