What the fuck was the point of that radioactive caldera near Cottonwood Cove anyways

A few (7?) nukes got past House's defenses. Could be from that.

Yup

I fucking hate how much space the Repconn Test Site takes up. If you ever had to visit it more than once (say, as part of an ongoing Novac questline where you decide what to do with it now that the ghouls have moved out) it'd be fine. But it's literally only relevant for the increasingly tedious Come Fly With Me.

GROVE STREET FOR LIFE

Can someone explain why New Vegas is so popular now as opposed to when it was released? I’m guessing mods. I played it and tossed aside when I was done with it. Probably the best Fallout game to be honest.

it was always popular

Well, you know what they say.. Mojave, Mo' problems.

It was pretty popular leading up to/at release. At least from what I remember. Alpha Protocol is a much better example of a game that had no hype/popularity at launch that is a huge cult game nowadays.

Why yes i do side with NCR, how could you tell?

For me, it's the Commonwealth.

My first ever Fallout game, love it to death.

If you don't at least do things for NCR you're locking yourself out of like 50% of the game's quest content.

You don't have to side with them in the end, but you can still do as much quests that don't interfere with Legion stuff with them.

I never even used it, actually I hoarded all my shit in the schoolhouse in Goodsprings until I unlocked the lucky 38 suite, then unlocked the encumbered fast travel perk to bring thousands of pounds of shit I collected there.

you were probably too young to remember the release but it was insanely massive at launch

Except not? The game was bashed on release, e.g.

>It’s just that this is absolutely not the classic that Fallout 1 and 2 unquestionably were, and it’s also not the bold, bright reinvention that Fallout 3 was. It’s just… here, offering more Fallout. Do you want some more Fallout? If so, New Vegas can provide, so long as you don’t mind your every hour with it being laced with some small amount of disappointment. That is, unless you haven’t played a Fallout game before, but in that case you’re better off with the Game of the Year edition of Fallout 3.

please be bait.

So was RPS always this retarded?
