If alternative timeline WoW servers that kept the old feel, art style and gameplay of the pre-Cata game, would you rather it start after Classic (1.12 - different path right from the get-go) or start after WotLK (just without a Cataclysm, MoP, WoD, etc - instead a new path)?

The problem with doing 1.13 is you HAVE to pull from TBC/Wrath balance to get the specs up to par to not being absolutely unviable. The problem is MUH CLASSIC NO CHANGES people don't want anything like that. A simple taunt right now could probably make Paladin tank way way fucking more visual. Just a taunt, not the shield throw.

I'd rather see TBC with changes, like the removal of summoning stones but keep LFG. Take out all the portals from Shatt.

I thought paladin had that ability to target an ally and taunt 3 enemies aggrod on the ally. When was that added?

Righteous Defense, TBC. They also later got Hand of Reckoning, Wrath.
Just having HoR would be nice, a taunt that only works if they aren't already attacking you.

A 1.13 that doesn't pull from TBC/Wrath's good changes is not worth exploring. Plus what about the debuff limit that hinders someone like a Warlock?
