His pause text implied that he only joined Kirby because there were bigger fish to fry. He doesn't seem to be reformed desu.

Marx was the most openly dickish of the dream friends next to Dark Borb, when even Magolor seemingly changed his ways.

I think it's safe to say, he's still very much a villain who only sided with Kirby for his own means.

Kind of hard to stay as a villain when the games usually use only one original villain per game

I have an idea for a Kirby game. Dark Matter returns stronger than ever and makes its way back to Popstar. Thousands upon thousands of Dark Matter charge at any unlucky citizen. Those who are hit by Dark Matter transform into a monster depending on what problems and issues they deal with. Kirby would show up to try and save the show, but would be overpowered by the sheer number of Dark Matter. He'd end up getting embedded into the clump of Dark Matter and transforming into a monster himself. Adeleine paints a barrier around the remaining survivors just before the Dark Matter covers the planet. The survivors mourn their loss, but out of the hellish landscape pops a puffball. It's Kirby, but he's different.

The only thing I would add is that they were somewhat sympathetic towards the mage sisters, Hyness was what caused the “I don’t think so.” reaction

The N64 Kirby was logically supposed to get a 3DS remake, ESPECIALLY due to how popular N64 remakes on the 3DS were

It's one of the more unique games gamplay wise, being pseudo-3D like Klonoa, and has some of the more interesting lore tidbits

I have the second Star Allies book, the Mirror World book, Robobot, and the two Meta Knight books. I've posted pictures of all except Star Allies (unnecessary since someone already did it) and the Mirror World book, so I can repost them here if you want.
Truth be told, my Japanese is poor so I haven't read through the books properly beyond skimming. Here's what I can say about the Galacta Knight book though.

>there's an OC who wants to join MK's crew but he's only really in the story at the beginning and near the end, though he plays a role in ending the conflict at the end
>Meta Knight vanishes and his crew ask Kirby and his friends to help find him. There's a really cute scene with Axe Knight being unsure on what honorific to use for Kirby (he tries ~san, ~kun, ~dono~ and ~dai sensei before Kirby says he doesn't need any
>Meta Knight is trying to summon Galacta Knight because he wants to get stronger and the method requires energy spheres and some strange music box from Halcandra
>Meta Knight is willing to beat the shit out of Kirby for trying to stop him
>At one point, Dedede says "Meta Knight looks smart, but he's actually really stupid and rushes into things without thinking" and the Meta-Knights are really offended
>Meta Knight succeeds in summoning Galacta Knight but he struggles because GK is just a relentless killing machine that just won't die
>the others push Kirby to fight too, but he doesn't want to fight because he can't feel any sense of intent behind GK and couldn't understand why this was happening

On paper those would be better alternatives, main issue however being until we see how the Mario movie turns out, I can't think of single decent western studio that could pull off a decent Kirby movie
Maybe Dreamworks, but they're pretty hit and miss when it comes to quality
As for a new anime, the last one was pretty bad, granted it has been over 15 years, so maybe Sakurai would be less pushy about it and let them make something decent? Maybe not even have be that long, a two core anime seems good enough to retell some of the more well known games

Since we're talking about how to correctly make a Kirby movie I think I'll add in my opinion. Video game movies are shit, and it's rare that we get movies that are faithful to the original source. In my opinion, if Silent Hill and Pokemon could both get great movies, then I'm sure that we can get a good adaptation of Kirby.

video games are great because player agency is a major factor
movies cannot give their audience agency by nature
translating movies into games is easy, all you need to do is make it fun to play
making a game into a movie is impossible as it completely removes the one thing that games have over forms of media

they can work if they are handled correctly, look at detective pikachu it worked extremely well because the developers helped make the movie appeal to it's fanbase because they understand what makes pokemon appealing in the first place, if a Kirby movie were to made Hal would have to be involved in order for it to be successful and love by the fanbase, any video game/anime adaption could've been good if the developers were more involved with the development of those movies.

But Hollywood is full of arrogant producers and CEO's who think they know better despite not really understanding the propity's those movies are based on or the value of them, they'd rather trust the lowest common denominator soccer moms for their focus test groups rather then people who actually know how they should adapt the movie, which is why the Sonic movie got so much backlash and detective pikachu is considered a good movie

Nobody in the West can pull off a decent Kirby movie. Unlike other Nintendo IP's that had movies, Kirby just seems too subtly rooted in Japan's culture/philosophy to justify receiving a crude adaption from Hollywood. It's basically inevitable it'd be some sort of KIRBY'S FUCKING PISSED parody, which while hilarious, would only further the existing dichotomy of the series between Japan and the West.

I was thinking if a movie ever did happen it could maybe a crude pseudo-retelling of Kirby's Adventure mixed with Kirby 64, with Ado being in Ribbon's role,and likewise instead of Nightmare that was sealed away it was Zero. And the whole movie essentially working like the Wizard of Oz, except Dorothy can't go back home because it's been destroyed

His gimmick is that he can become anything, so his stories can also be about anything. Imagine a Hollywood Kirby movie where the genre changes from cowboy western to detective noire to space opera to kung fu to samurai to spy to adventure and so on as an angry Kirby pursues a comical Dedede. Video game movies always do their own thing for the sake of entertainment, so a character as malleable as Kirby is just asking for something like this.

Kirby's gimmick really wouldn't translate to a mainstream movie, and normalfags would get confused for exactly what powers Kirbs has.

There’s a new composer on the team. He was moreso Sound Department than song department. Also over time, Hirokazu Ando has been doing more songs while Jun Ishikawa has been doing less songs
