yes lol, Sims 3 I discovered this, you throw the DLC folders in 3 and don't even have to activate it. Think of it like you bought sims 3 dlc used but has the code. Its activated already through origin but you can use the key to install it. It will be in the game, and still let you use online regardless if its actually activated.

Sims 3 is a nasty one, it could be the best game in the series if it weren’t so hopelessly bloated mess that runs like shit no matter what computer you run it on. Really liked the open world system of it as idea, but ultimately it would probably have been better without it considering the execution.

Not much. It’s the same story every time, sequels add some small improvements to the base framework (well, 3 added some big ones but also ), but the immediate benefits are neutered by the fact that the main game releases are always barebone and need sequels to get all the cool content.
Honestly, you could just play 2 and be just as happy with it as with the sequels.

you can probably run the base game fine but no matter what, heavily modded sims 3 will BTFO your computer. running kinkyworld + nraas story progression ends up in inevitable slowdown
