There are no 'tricks' to get boosts. Getting hangtime rewards boost in general if you jump. Jumps just have to be maximized.

I don't think I'd even have a problem with the aliens if it was just Velo. A little green man from space works well enough in the setting with Oxide already existing. My problem is that Zem and Zam are just so lazily designed, basically Velo (dog version) and Velo (Wario version) even their names feel like they were just bare minimum effort. Of all the character designs I've seen in post-ND Crash, these two feel the most under-cooked and needed way more time being refined on the drawing board.

Krunk is redundant when Papu Papu exists already and his personality is pretty boring and one note, doesn't help that his stage is just another generic jungle world (which the Crash series is full of in general). Geary has a really bland design for a robot especially when compared to the robots you see in previous Crash games, and has almost all of his thunder stolen by Velo whom you face off with the minute you beat him and since they share the same tracks, he feels more like an annoying speed-bump that you had to deal with before facing the actual boss of Teknee, Velo. Zem and Zam are just garbage filler meant to pad out the roster, used for ironic shit-posting due to how obviously terrible they are. On the flip-side, Nash, Norm and Trance feel unique and have way more personality even in the small amount of time they have in game. Velo is cool but people are still waiting for his actually based fake Emperor form.

I don't understand why removing them would even be on anyone's mind. Tawna was more sexualized than any of them and got almost molested by obj_motherfucker's in NST, and that game only came out 2 years ago.

I'm starting to lose hope as I settle for a more realistic roster size (30 going by the "only 5 more" theory or 32 going by the "8 for each class" line of thinking) and realize he is likely lower priority than Spyro, Brio, Tawna, Moe, Kong, Nina, and Fake Velo. Probably equal with Baby T.

On the other hand, Beenox seems to love the Lab Assistants. They've been added to Sewer Speedway, Coco Park, Cortex Castle, N. Gin Labs, Gemstone Valley, and likely Dragon Mines (they've mentioned mineral which I assume are based on the lab assistants from Crash 2's bee level). Possibly other tracks and hubs that I haven't noticed as well.

I loved the semi open world feel of twinsanity and felt like a natural evolution of the series espically after WoC repeat of Warped. Keep the characters too but expand on them better, mostly Nina and Crunch but if they can make Chick n Stew work and the aliens bosses from CNK work ill be more than glad to accept it. Playable Coco was a fun thing but I think she should be more unique from crash and maybe playable crunch could be exciting.

Also villian spinoff that would be excellent Crash's Rouge gallery is great they should really do something with that.

I wouldn't mind if they experimented with open world again. Twinsanity had some nice concepts but the execution was all wrong. Just keep it simple and clean but fresh enough to feel new.

They don't need to follow the strict hubworld design. Personally I think Crash in this day and age needs it's own "Mario oddessy" maybe with one big hubworld and other smaller hubworlds with other smaller levels within them. Most important thing is movement needs to feel fun and tight.

crunch, zem and zam aren't bosses in the adventure mode since they weren't in the first game, they probably only get unlocked normally with the wumpa coins or whatever the fuck the in-game currency is, so with the pre-order you skip having to grind out for them
