So for real, you literally cannot lose to anything in the game if you spend a few minutes practicing the Splatterscope can you? It charges and fires so quickly, if you get flanked you have a panic button, and generally you won't have a problem retreating if things get bad.

As for new events, I only play one other game that hosts live events and that's For Honor. There's not a whole lot you can translate from FH's gameplay, ergo its events. Only one I think can be analogous was Season 5's event, where you and your team fought increasingly hard bosses from the campaign. Maybe we could do something similar with splatoon. Only problem is, the campaign's bosses were rather lackluster, as was the rest of the vanilla campaign. FH pulled it off because the bosses were all just enhanced NPCs. This does get me thinking that maybe something similar to Inner Agent 3 could be used for something like this: You and another team pitted up against a super AI (just one) that puts IA3 to shame - first one to beat them 5 times wins. Like splatfest, you get your power snails and everything, making it so that people will at least give it a shot.
