Proponents of LE state that superior ENB and graphics capability make for a more immersive experience, and that more mods are available.
Proponents of SE state that the game's x64 architecture allow for better stability, and the utilization of hardware allow a superior modding experience.
Which camp are you in, and why? I'm aware Skyrim is shit, but modding it and pretending you're actually going to play it is fun
I feel like I've gotten to the point many players have, where even mods can't cover the dullness of the game anymore. But anyways, I use LE solely for the last point: there are mods I want that do not have a SE port yet.
LE because fuck bethesda and their CC bullshit. Also if you don't know how to optimize your game on LE then you are a shitter.
Andrew Bailey
oldrim getting btfo
Samuel Cruz
Post mods i want to laugh at your shit taste
Owen Cooper
I was gonna say GDO but apparently that shit has been ported for months.
Jacob Myers
SE
Jordan Hernandez
you can't really "overmod" SE yet however it's got that Fallout 4 stability, e.g the most stable modable Bethesda game to fucking date, so it's much less autistic to make not crash every 5 minutes even if you toss mods in like fucking firewood as far as graphics go, the only thing where you could make any distinction is that yes, Oldrim ENB is still better, but it's already running on fumes and the simple reality being that SE is running on DX11, just completely does away with any doubts about which game will end up looking better in the long run, and with minimal performance impact to top it off the 64bit is just a cherry on top, the game has obvious leg up in both RAM and VRAM usage loooong before it becomes relevant and most great most are already ported make of it what you will

post the waifus with fat juicy tits, faggots

The One Mask, for one
Chase Flores
LE because there are important mods that still haven't been ported.
Leo Rodriguez
What Oldrim's ENB have over SE's ENBs? SE enbs have particle lightning Also you can effectively port a ton of Oldrim mods with just a click through the CK and/or running them through Optimizer. I have over 500 mods on SE right now and I'm not quite finished yet
Dylan Jackson
No there aren't.
Ayden Torres
How do people feel about installing mods right from the menu? Is this generally seen as worse than using a mod manager?
Isaac Hernandez
it's unhealthy to say the least
Gavin Mitchell
lmso dude
Austin Baker
Everything is worse than MO2. Everything
Luis Davis
Imagine needing a mod manager to hold your hand and install shit for you Manual+wrye bash master race reporting in

*makes life intentionally harder for no reason*
Leo Kelly
>votes are in favor of LE >posts are in favor of SE
Hmmm...
Cameron Phillips
i like to manually install mods, but skyrim special edition doesnt have a data files option in the main menu.
Lincoln Martinez
Did you even read the thread? Besides, people just vote then move on. Stop trying to justify your shit thread.
Evan Ramirez
>getting this mad
Jayden Moore
LE has more ENB, HDT physics (the SE versions is discontinued as far as I know since the author dropped the project), far more content if you want loverslab mods. SE has better stability which IS a pretty big deal so it really depends on what you want. When it comes to mod availability it has more than enough, unless you want the specific things I mentioned.
Kevin Gonzalez
You're retarded if you really think manual is best in current year.
Caleb Bell
LE voters don't even play the game. They just dress waifus up all day.
SE's worse ENB is still very good
Kevin Williams
besthesda games aren't good, you need a million mods to make it below average. That being said, LE is the way
Brandon Johnson
I guess the results are pretty accurate ratio of who plays what at the moment
Tyler Garcia
The lack of essential Skyrim mod compilations is distressing.
Elijah Perez
Actually it's great with all the right mods. Yes even the combat. They even fixed the 3rd person camera lately Se is the way to play without crashing while running all these mods though.
Carter Harris
If you aren't a potato or an idiot, you should'n't be crashing to begin with
Ian Williams
*bottlenecks your RAM*

SE fag here I'm actually running the game right now and it's RAM usage currently hangs at ~1,8GB it's pretty fucking amazing considering what I stuffed in
Carter Hughes
Do porn mods work on se?
Kayden Walker
yes
Hunter Ortiz
Daily reminder that Boris is an exaggerating fag. Parallax with be input into SSE ENB eventually
Jordan Powell
Ok se it is then
Joshua Young
>*halve your GPU mem* >*stutter*

if you have SE is there any point to getting a mod manager, and not just putting in mods from the menu
Skyrim VR, which is SE at heart Playing it right now and am having fun
Angel Bennett
> does away with any doubts about which game will end up looking better in the long run
Can you elaborate your opinion on this?
Thomas Walker
>Follow a guide >Use MO to manage conflicts >Use LOOT to manage load order >Clean with TESVedit >Merge plugins when appropriate >CTD every 10 minutes anyway Why the fuck do I bother?
Michael Mitchell
I'm just downloading things with MO and letting it sort plugins. I don't use loot or TESVedit or merge shit Got about 50 mods that focus on gameplay rather than graphics so maybe that's what fucking you up
Nicholas Russell
I cannot wait for Elder Scrolls 6 just for the possibility of nodding it with a much better stability
William Collins
models and textures can be the same in both versions the only difference is performance, rendering, and post-processing DX11 BTFO's DX9 in all of those oldrim ENB is duct taping shit from DX11 onto a DX9 game do I REALLY have to continue?
