Highscores from around 10 years ago. First 3 are the difficulty settings from the minesweeper that comes with windows, fourth one is like 50% bigger than the third one with 256 mines and the last one is that huge one I never cleared

I used to read Usenet many years ago and remember a thread about Windows Minesweeper. I seem to remember that the best score for the Advanced board (the kamigumi column in your image) was something under 30 seconds which blew my mind. The best score I ever managed on Advanced was maybe 240 seconds.
