Launching a Steam game for one second to get spring cleaning points doesn't count as having played it.
Pic related, PC version. Not finished yet but 8/10 so far.

That's at least a 9/10, fuck off.
Bloodborne
9/10. liking it a lot more than I thought I would.
Just beat the witch of helickasiolia (idk these names). Doing some hardcore grinding before I take vicar on again.
Heavy Rain PC demo. Im actually intrigued and I'm probably going to preorder it while it's still for sale. But holy fuck those QTEs on mouse and keyboard are really something. And there's no controller support.
Not done yet either. I'd say a 6.5/10
Platforming/climbing is magnetized and piss-easy. No sense of challenge if the game won't even let you fall and fail. Maybe I'm playing on something other than the hardest difficulty, can't remember since I just restarted my last save after being on hold for months.
7/10
play this game with music on
everything comes out of the character's mouths is shit, the humor is atrocious
gameplay is decent enough
Kept putting off playing it because I hated Half Life 1 and it sounded like meme-tier trash, surprisingly its a 10/10 for me, I can see why its considered a masterpiece and it still holds up very well
OP here. I apologize. I was torn between 8/10 and 9/10 and I didn't want to do decimals. I guess I chose wrong.
Mordhau
7/10, really fun, enjoy the customization options, but it needs better game modes and maps
>Cinematic experiences
Yikes
Monster Hunter World - 8/10
Never touched the series before (except like a 30 minutes of Tri before my Wii broke), and it's pretty much what I've always expected.
My biggest complaints are:
> Too many lizard-like creatures
> Boring weapon designs
> Camps feels a bit too cheap
> No flexing after healing
> Questionable Astera-Gathering Hall/online aspect design decision
> Gunlance doesn't have guard point
Genuinely cannot wait for Iceborne
>no controller support for a console port
I can't understand why developers do this.
Did this game really make Hillary president just to have Russia nuke California?
Oops forgot to rate. 8/10 based on what I've played so far. Story seems interesting but the QTEs could have been explained a lot better
Watch Dogs 1
It's an ok game if you do only the main story. Fuck all those billions of collectables on the map.
7/10 if you go guns blazing, 6/10 if full stealth.
The game starts with San Francisco getting obliterated by a Russian super-villain, and the president of the United States is a woman. So yeah, I guess so.
Thanks. Got this for free from Uplay a while ago. I already have Uplay installed for some reason, so maybe I'll give it a try.
To be honest, I was pretty surprised. This is the first time I've seen it happen in awhile. Pretty much every console port has controller support these days. I wonder if they plan to add it to the final version. I have a feeling they'll get some backlash if they don't, because WASD movement is a bit janky with this game's fixed camera angles, and the PC QTEs are kinda weird and poorly explained.
soda dungeon
pretty fun for a free game
5/10.
It's just your typical hurry up and wait game no different than Harvest Moon/Rune Factory/Stardew Valley just exchange farming with a workshop.
Nope, better then that
>Not-Hillary conspires with a rebel fraction lead by Not-Putin in Russia to help them take over the space fleet
>Then helps with them committing a false flag attack on San Fran and Cali so she could go to war
>When your main character gets proof that she conspired, she ends up offing herself
Really funny when you look at the US and the whole "muh Russia" thing going on.
Platinum also got Armstrong and the "make America great again" thing too.
9/10
Shadows of the Damned emulated.
Didn't realize a game this dumb but fun exist.
Went into it because of Sudas announcing PC version of TSA.
I wish SotD comes to PC tho.
Also Paulo is smoking hot and her getting repeatedly tortured and killed is really fucking hot
Just know it could have been worse.
Learn how to boost dodge and you'll never use cover as much as you used to. After I learned that it went from an 8 to a 10
I do try to use the dodging techniques rather than relying on cover.
The main problem is that I'm using the default PC controls and I keep fumbling over a few of the keys, namely F for melee attack and G for grenade, which I really should have changed in the beginning. It's my own fault, but if I change the controls now, then it will probably just make things worse.
Solid 8. Looks incredible, plays extremely well. I don't really like how unfocused the experience is though, the game gives you 15 side plots and most demand exploration.
Oh and aside from some stutter during open world Batmobile driving, performance is just fine.
What happened? I knew Alex Garland helped out.
Dark Souls II
Meh at best, I've beaten it but I'm trying to get the 100% cheevo.
How does it feel knowing that you just experienced peak FromSoft kino and it's only downhill from there
You're better off rebinding and relearning. It will suck at first, but your gameplay will be vastly improved. You can also use a controller. Its really comfortable with one.
Whoops, meant to reply to
I've played all save for Sekiro, feeling pretty Indifferent really. DS2 was the only one I haven't done the all achievements for so I'd figure I'd wrap it up.
Cube 2 Sauerbraten
8/10
I mainly play single player, since the box I play games on is offline, but the DMSP option is a lot of fun even on it's own. Blasting through maps while shooting a huge hoard of enemies is a lot of fun, and the maps themselves are very well put together. All that and it runs like a dream even on "non-gaming" hardware. Excellent game, may even dethrone Red Eclipse in my mind.
Tameem basically wanted to completely rewrite Monkey into being a complete and total fucking asshole to everyone and everything going so far as to show him kicking prisoners out of the plane in the opening sequence just to make him look like a badass, but everyone told Tameem to go suck an egg because that would have been stupid as fuck.
Duke Nukem 3D. 7/10
Pretty gud. Garbage hitscan enemies and that stupid suicidal flying robot that always sneaks up on you are fucking annoying though.
Ace Combat 4 and Ninja Gaiden Black are games I have just finished around the same time desu so I want to rate them both.
Ninja Gaiden Black is one of the best action games I've ever played. I'm a big fan of the genre, but for some reason, I just never played Ninja Gaiden before even though Black had such a fantastic reputation among those who played it, and it more than lives up to it.
9.5/10
Ace Combat 4 was fantastic as well. It was the first air combat game I've ever played. Nothing overstayed its welcome, no real lowpoints at all, gameplay is fun and solid for the vast majority, story is surprisingly great and OST is god. 9/10.
Mother 3.
9,3/10
It held my attention till to the end. It was a fun experience.
Did you played Ninja Gaiden Black on a emulator?
>MGQ Paradox
8/10
Starts off as a generic RPG then you go into parallel universes and shit
Oh. Good.
I'm actually pretty pleased with the characterizations of the protagonists. Nothing's too forced, nothing's overly stereotypical. Making Monkey a tryhard would've made it unbearable.
>Titanfall 2
8/10. considered a 9, but I erred on the side of caution. haven't played Frontier Defence, but I enjoyed that campaign (finished once on master, another on hard), and love the multiplayer (easy to find a match around happy hour)
Just started Dark Souls Remastered so I might change opinions in the future. I like the atmosphere of the game and the combat makes you think about how to use your stamina properly though I don't see the point of shields beyond blocking projectiles. Also the enemy respawns super fast everytime you kindle a bonfire and the sudden change of music whenever a boss appears kinda throws me off a bit. 7/10 so far.
No I played it on Xbox 360, it's backwards compatible with OG Xbox games with at least some of them as far as I know, if not all OG Xbox games.
did you play it with an emulator, and the fan translation? I've considered checking it out
All enemies in the soulsborne series always respawn after using bonfires.
take a +4 wep, get fire paper. and go ham on each limb until it breaks. should take about 20-30 sec.
Sweet. You sir, are a person of culture of elevated taste.
Now go play Ninja Gaiden 2, which is a completely different beast but another incredibly well done action game. It's Ninja Gaiden 1 on cocaine.
Oh. I have a Xbox 360. Do you have the original Xbox disc or did you pirate? I don't have any original Xbox games.
Yep, VisualBoyAdvance with settings setup to get a better display and a fan translation. I've downloaded a rom with the fan translation aswell, didn't applied them myself. You can find it easily by searching on google.
If you're gonna play the game, it's fun. It's the only Jrpg game that has fun and addictive combat unlike the others that has boring mechanics.
Big beast enemies like Vicar Amelia take "limb damage" as well. If you damage one of her limbs enough she will stagger, this effect can occur for every limb so you can do her arms and legs and stagger her 4 times in total for major damage. Works on other big beasts too.
It just caught me off guard really especially when the enemies are just a few feet away from the bonfire.
Darkwood 8/10
One of the best horror games i've played. Unfortunately near the end the process becomes tedious. Surviving at night becomes easy, stamina drains way too fast when running, and the combat is pretty awkward. The atmosphere, quests, and characters saves it
BBTAG
8/10. Game is more fun now that Gord got gutted, but now I'm realizing that other characters like Heart, Azrael, and Akihiko might be a huge problem to fight against. I hope my fun lasts until then.
I have the original Xbox disc. It was quite easy to find, no issues with the game. I highly highly recommend it.
I have actually already played Ninja Gaiden 2 as well after Black, I just wanted to talk about Black more since it left a bigger impression on me.
Ninja Gaiden 2 was very different from Black, yet still a great game, as you said, Ninja Gaiden 1 on cocaine, for better or worse. I liked a lot of the boss fights in Ninja Gaiden 2 more than most in Ninja Gaiden Black, but there were also some in 2 I found to be much worse, it kind of balanced out. Some levels were not very interesting too, especially once you compare it to how Ninja Gaiden Black designed its world which I find to be peak level design in the genre, still, NG2 also had fantastic levels as well and seeing more of the world was interesting and sometimes batshit insane. I like that it feels very different from NGB too though, it's not just the same game but with some small additions, it gives it its own identity and makes both games stand out making both worthwhile to play over and over again
8.5/10 game, I greatly enjoyed it. Going to find a copy of Razor's Edge next week.
Guilty Gear X2 #Reload
It’s fucking rad, 9/10. Maybe even a 10/10.
Can you pirate Ninja Gaiden Black to put it on your USB to play on the Xbox 360?
I don't know.
If your 360's JTAG'd I'm pretty sure you can
asscreed origins 9/10
>hl2
>cinematic
wtf is this
9/10
I played through the full game recently. It has some tense moments and a few choices that actually matter (e.g. you can kill off MCs if you're shit at the QTEs) but is otherwise laughably cliché with one of the most poorly written stories and characters put to a videogame.
6/10 btw, if you have a friend to laugh with. Otherwise 4.
Haven't finished yet. I played this game on my hacked Wii and never finished it, so I bought it for my New 2DS and good Lord does it looks like shit. 8,5/10 though.
FULLY MODELED
Why did you hate HL1?
The singleplayer is pretty meh.
The MP instagib is the best there is, though. Seriously 10/10 netcode, better than fucking Quake 3.
You may want to play the SMOD versions afterwards, if you crave more.
Here's the standalone repack with SMOD 40aq, SMOD Tactical, SMOD Redux and CSS Sci-fi:
uploadfiles (dot) io (forward slash) aevwxxdl
(It's not fucking spam, fucking autofilter)
And here's a little video of CSS Sci-fi (just an arcadey game mode using the CSS maps): youtube.com
Hope you like it!
Surely his post was meant for
>400kb/s on PREMIUM DOWNLOAD NOW website
Thanks retard. Why don't you just make a throwaway mega account?
I'm doing the same thing. Right now I'm trying to farm the red phantom in Belfry Soul so I can get their sorcery. It's very tiresome.
i apologise for not being born in 70s but the game is deficient, a fucking trash. sorry nostalgiafags
Finished Rage 2 on Nightmare. I actually liked the first one specifically for shooting, wanted more of the same from the second. Wasn't disappointed, 8.5/10, combat is amazing. Also don't understand the hate for the driving part, got used to it pretty quickly, except for bikes, they control like shit.
I don't even know why anyone would bother to post a sketchy download link to a standalone repack of a Half-Life 2 mod. The guy to whom the mod was recommended clearly already owns Half-Life 2. (And, honestly, who the fuck doesn't already own Half-Life 2?) Just post the fucking moddb link.
nier automata 10/10
Love the ost, love the characters, love the environment and love the story so far. Gameplay is decent but honestly a button masher and you can just use the pod range attacks to cheese fights. I also really like fishing in this game. You get some random shit when you fish, which I like. Even getting random fish in the game is interesting in this barren world.
7/10. It was good for what it was but it never transcended the flaw that affects most post RE4 third person shooters, the dynamic of movement and shooting being separate. Sure it had the bullet time slide feature but the core of the gameplay was still run to cover, stop, aim, proceed to run again.
I started playing vanquish and I absolutely loved it.
I replayed it on hard once I got better, but god hard is absolutely impossible and its pure cancer.
your emergency AR mode can get popped from just chucking a grenade out of cover and most things one shot you AND you do less damage.
you can take damage while roll spamming, but you still use most of AR mode just killing one god damn goomba. its unplayable past hard mode.
DMC3, 8/10. Fun game! Are the others in the series any good?
SMOD doesn't work with the current Steam version of the Source engine (forced update that came with HL2:Ep2), user. That's why.
This is a workaround to use the old version.
Yeah, sorry about that. Might make a mega version some time later, but I'm pretty busy these days.
HL1 is the better game
Isn't there a term based on a name for certain rules a criminal story has to follow to be good? This doesn't follow any of them.
Risk of Rain 2
As it is, it's a 7/10, the framework is there, just needs all the content to complete it. Not too happy on the pace and content per patch that's been laid out in the roadmap.
Men of War. 8.5/10 gameplay but 2/10 netcode makes MP impossible
>This is a workaround to use the old version.
Well that sucks. I stand corrected. It would be nice if they could update the mod to work with the Steam version of HL2 but I guess we can't really demand anything from developers who do it for free.
You're the same user who asked where to play the game the other day, we told you to go play it on Wii or dolphin god damnit
Sonic Colors for Wii
Probably a 6 or 7. It was alright, not that great though.
im glad you played it user it's a stellar actions game
7/10 i guess though I haven't played much at all.
General mechanics are really cool, nice mix between the PSP games and the newer Party-based ones but the bosses aren't that great and most characters aren't as fun to play as Adol.
finished and platinued Sekiro a deception hard as fuck and not rewarding , i just completed entirely this game because my autism but im not going to be day 1 on the potential sequel of Dlc so in the end sekiro is at least for me 7.5/10 my first deception of the Miyazaki "souls" era
The others are all good, except DMC2, it's one of the worst games I've ever played and almost every one else will tell you the same thing.
DMC1 is a classic masterpiece, it's very well made and still holds up today. Plebs will tell you it's outdated, it's not, still has the best enemy design and best difficulty balancing and some of the best bosses in the series are still from DMC1.
DMC4 is so fucking unfinished, but the gameplay is great. Dante gets super in-depth here and it's why the game was played for 10 years and still is by vets who kept discovering new things about the combat system because the system here is just so deep. New character Nero is also fun to play, albeit simpler. Also has a boss which is by many considered to be the best in the entire series, you'll know which one it is when you play it.
DMC5 which just came out is amazing. Gone is some of the horrendous enemy design from DMC3 and 4 (Soul Eaters, Dullahans, Chimeras, Faults and so on), some will say it feels a bit less varied because of this, however most will tell you it's for the better as the combat is great all the way through and there are no enemies that are downright infuriating, frustrating or extremely boring to fight in DMC5. DMC5 also has some fantastic boss fights and none of them are really as bad as any of the worst from 3 and 4, however that depends on how you like the new third playable character in the game, V. You see DMC5 has 3 playable characters, Dante, Nero and V. Dante and Nero are fucking amazing, but V has had a very mixed reaction.
>Thea the Awakening
>9/10
really underrated gem
