Those "mascots" prove 5th gen was better than 6th.

Secret Agent Clank wasn't bad. Same with Size Matters. Not great games by any means, but not as bad as everyone says.

All R&C games are equally good in their own right

I don't like UYA's level design as much as either of the first two games.
Size Matters was worse than ToD probably.
The remake was shit.

Size Matters doesn't have the groovitron or mr. zurkon and it has the classic style of music so it's automatically better

size matters doesn't have any good weapons at all
it's also short as fuck, feels loose and floaty as hell, and has the worst boss in the entire series

Whenever I hear the track from Boldan I remember the Thugs that play rock paper scissors between themselves

I'm willing to emulate UYA but I heard it's not great

Any thoughts from anyone?

UYA is a great game, even if you think it's the weakest PS2 Ratchet game that still makes it an amazing shooter/platformer

Swap UYA and GC's places and I don't care about the rest.

I meant emulation wise if it was buggy

I beat the game when I was a kid, but the disc broke so I could never play it again.

GC > ToD > R&C > fuck rest > shit > remake

R&C went to shit when it hit the PS3.

fuck nu-insomniac

The PS3 games were still better than SM.
I have no fucking clue how you can put SM over the original in terms of gameplay.

Deadlocked is better than Up Your Arsenal

Dunno about that senpai. Deadlocked is a bit short and repetitive. Deadlocked only shines when you have coop.

Maybe is because I played it with my cousin

nice

What did he mean by this?

I actually really like ACiT. It has the only fun clank sections in the whole series

In terms of core gameplay, Deadlocked is in a class of its own compared to the rest. The weapon list, while small, are all exceedingly satisfying to use and are some of the strongest weapons in the entire series. The mod system allows for a great deal of customization. Vehicle combat is actually good this time around. The mission based gameplay allows the game to aim towards a more "arcady" feel which gives it maximum replayability. To top it all off, it has the best multiplayer R&C has to offer.

However, all of this comes at a hefty price. The story is a bit more basic, Vox and Ace aren't the best villains, exploration on planets is nonexistant because the game is mission based. Most importantly, the number of weapons and gadgets has been cut down significantly. In the end, the game feels more like a spinoff rather than a sequel.

The clank puzzles in aCiT are the best in the series, but they're way too easy early on. Everything else about the clank stages sucks, too.

For everything else the reboot did wrong, I think the clank stages in that game were actually well designed. The puzzles were consistently engaging and there wasn't any terrible combat or planet scanning to pad it out.
