Any fan of the first game? It seems that Russians got their hands on the alpha version (can someone confirm, since I don’t know the language):
They Hunger: Lost Souls (Leaked?)
Bump!
Holy ravioli, i was thinking about this just a few weeks ago
How did he get his hand son it
Did the creator die or just ghost everyone
I don’t know! I started this thread in hope to find someone who speaks Russian and could elaborate more.
have you auto translated the video? he doesn't seem to say in the video or in the description
Okey, it seems like the devs just released the alpha version:
steamcommunity.com
Another video, this time in English:
youtube.com
Someone says here it was leaked to the "valve archive project" in February and has since been taken down
mapcore.org
Damn, what a shame.
I really dig this grim atmosphere and map design.
Some say the creator is still alive and just wont talk to anyone about it
thats annoying
I bet this project was just too complicated for him alone to handle.
it was 75% done, he had team mates, it was going to be commercial and make money, it had lots of publicity
It just doesn't make sense why he stopped
OTMEHEH!
I though he had a really small dev time, like two/three people top, but I read up somewhere that basically he worked alone.
this better not be 700mb of bane memes
It's a link to the build, it's in the description of the video in the OP.
It does look like it had the quality to be an actual paid product too.
nigga had as much time as he wanted
IIRC he had health problems or something that forced him to stop. After that, nobody ever heard from him again. I know some people pretty much assumed he had died.
>still manages to look better than Hunt Down the Freeman
Funny thing is HDtF dev team was bigger and had better resources.
Worst part is that piece of shit mod got endorsed by Valve.
the original hl1 mod was one of the best out there imo. hope they dont fuck it up.
>hope they dont fuck it up.
its not coming out
it was cancelled 13 years ago
:((
They never got endorsed, they just paid the fees for the licenses so they gave it to the team. They didn't know it was gonna be shit and nor did they ever endorse it with advertisements or even a mention.
