Anyone still play their 3DS? What were your favorite games and models?
3DS Thread
I had pic related and honestly, tomodachi was pretty comfy
its a great portable but i basically just emulate on it at this point
I have this one, looks pretty but feels considerably clunkier and less sturdy than a regular 3DS. Is this common for the new 3DSs?
I noticed this too, the og 3DS felt like it had better build quality than most models
probably to save money
I play basically every day.
Mostly:
ACNL
Mario Maker
Pokémon Ultra Sun
Wario Ware
Triforce heroes (only with friends)
And NES/SNES/GBA/GB games
What do you think of Mario Maker on 3DS
ive been playing on mine again recently, been going through games in my backlog
beat SMT4 and now im playing apocalypse, both undubbed thanks to cfw
I dont know what to play on mine
N3DSXL + grip user here, my big ass hands have never loved a handheld so much.
Playing pq2 now and bunny kamoshida is kinda fucking me up
Didn't play any other version but I like it.
It's fun to play on your own but it's even better if you have friends to share your levels with.
I literally just pulled mine out of storage and dusted it off a few nights ago, but I can't motivate myself to play it.
Recommend me some good games? I love turn based strategy games or tactical games, will play a JRPG but it has to be rewarding and not retarded, and I also just like fun stuff to play before bed to get sleepy too.
3DS's library was so disappointing compared to the NDS. Are handhelds dying? Are mobile phones taking over?
Ok but seriously though Nintendo Labo really isn't all that bad they deserve props for trying something different
At the moment I'm loving SMT IV and Animal Crossing.
all video games are toys get over it
Yes and Yes
I'm this girl and I sold my OG candy coated 3ds for a red XL; you're absolutely right about the quality. I really loved the aesthetic and form factor more too, and the biggun feels weird in my hands.
Playing DQVII and MH Stories lately, but I'm playing less with the 3DS since I got the Switch desu.
What do you guys think about Xenoblade Chronicles?
anyone know of any other games like warioware that you can play without paying too much attention all the time, basically need something for quick downtimes in another game
cope
After getting used to XL i can't really get back to those small screens. But yeah, OG3DS felt more sturdy
I bought it and played it for a bit but ended up not feeling it and set it down. In my defense I had some really good games to play at the time, but now I'm in a drought.
I might give it a second chance... Does it pick up after you get to the first city hub?
one day I was at my cousin's house and his kid was playing this on his 3ds
from the looks of it, it seems fairly similar to warioware's microgames
Rhythm Heaven
Super Mario 3D Land
Have sex
Have sex
Have sex
Have sex
fire emblem
>and I also just like fun stuff to play before bed to get sleepy too
ace attorney is perfect for this
who /limitedOoTN3DSXLdualipsscreens/ here?
AC:NL is comfy btw
the 3ds had a hard life
rest in peace
I've hacked my 3DS and installed everything under the sun, and there's a lot I want to play on it still, but I've been having trouble picking it up and actually playing it
wtf is this?
LETS SEE THOSE HOME SCREENS
if you scan it with a 3ds you get a picture that pops out of the screen (it doesnt work on a 2ds)
i have an original 3ds with an extended battery pack. it has a lot of homebrew classic game ports and emulators. i dont think ive played any nintendo games on my 3ds in years
Thanks, that's a good start.
The only Fire Emblem I ever played was the first US release; I love those designs so much but it looks like they dropped that aesthetic a long time ago.... Which one do you recommend?
great addition to the thread
this better be a trap benis popping out at me...
I love the look and feel of N3DS
I'm hoping that Switch Mini will be similar to it...
mario kart 7 online was fun as fuck but the addiction was impeding my backlog. currently enjoying wario ware.
Me too. Clam shell Switch Mini would be the dream
I still need to finish Nexus. Guess ill have most of the summer since the place I'm working at is going out of business
the guy who makes these hasn't made a single trap/futa of these in the last 4 years since hes been making them so hes probably not into that
Do you recommend using a grip for a N3DSXL?
what grip?
fukken dropped (my 3DS)
I would still be playing if the shoulder buttons didn't break for the third time.
What's the cheapest model out there? My old 3DS is too dinged up now, the circle pad lost it's cover, the d-pad is chipped and shoulder buttons barely work.
I started emulating recently but scrolling through the decrypted games list I'm struggling to find anything I really wanna play besides Phoenix Wright.
Playing ace attorney investigations right now, the series is one of my favorites
Last game I bought for my 3DS was Pilotwings resort, the 3D effect in that game is a bit extreme. It's a fun game but I sorta dropped it for no real reason. I'll go back to it eventually.
Real talk; how idiot proof is modding a NuThreeDeeEss (EcksEl)?
What kind of systems can it emulate?
im at world 14 in Mario maker
I have a launch model 3DS that is still in great shape, though the circle pad is off center and I don't remember if it was always like that.
Recently bought a DS lite because DS games look like shit on the 3DS.
all of them are pretty easy to hack 3ds.hacks.guide
Why is that? Why do DS games look god awful on there?
He's not holding Select to run DS games at their native resolution, so they get upscaled and blurry
tl;dr you're a fucking idiot
Every now and then I play a bit of SMT strange journey redux but the last time I did that was a few months ago and because I was travelling away from my pc
DS games are upscaled and it is not an integer scale, so it looks really blurry. You can actually force the 3DS to play in native resolution for DS games but then the game looks so tiny. DS lite is sick anyway, still have my OG silver DS which I love to death.
yeah and then it looks tiny and worse than an original ds, so why the fuck would i want that
I play my n3ds xl when I travel, but I love my purple og triple og
I’ve been playing my 3DS more since Switch is in the middle of a game drought and I’ve been having a great time. Mostly just revisiting Pokémon (Platinum and Gold on VC), but I also got Persona Q2 early from Amazon and that’s been really fun
using mine for emulation. playing through brain lord, pretty nice so far besides getting stuck
I had a launch blue one, traded in when I got my red N3dsxl. Also have a Japanese fire emblem special edition N3ds.
Currently playing Persona Q2
Years and years of 3ds it finally happened....
The circle pad dissolved and ripped itself apart.
What were they thinking?
Planned obsolescence for the N3DS. This strangely happened to everyone after the Smash Bros demo came out.
Is this trick any better to do on a non XL because of the smaller screen? I will try it out sometime on mine, but my DS games are in another state.
>3ds lasts longer than it actually did
>broken circle pad causes moms everywhere to buy a new 3ds for their child
almost genius until the switch killed it
Bought a N3DS when they were on sale for $150 to replace my launch 3DS. Imported Pokemon plates from japan. It was neat that it let me transfer over the ambassador program with no problem.
I’ve been avoiding an update for a good year but I updated just to load this image. Now my 3DS is giving me a boot error. Top kek.
Be honest user, you were the kid playing this, weren’t you?
>imported pokemon plates from japan
what, why? Do they not sell them where you live?
oh please
Those plates are sick
I was using it to replay pokemon sun on my morning commute, but that kind of stopped because I began learning korean on the train.
There's only a handful of plates available outside of Japan compared to the literal hundreds available in Japan.
Codename steam is some good fun if you enjoyed valkrie chronicles
What requirements do I need to meet if I just want to play emulate DS games on my 3DS?
Playing PQ2 so yeah
Is it still possible to get a regular sized N3DS new or am I going to have to go used? Seen some decent deals on ebay, but I'd prefer a new one.
Still want to get:
>Kirby Planet Robobot
>Pokemon ORAS
>Pokemon USUM
>Box Boy 2 & 3
Any Card Games on 3DS besides pic? This would be better without all the dice bullshit.
>Brain lord
Fucking excellent taste, senpai
>ORAS
>USUM
They were huge disappointments for me
OOH LOOK AT ME IM A GIRL
yikes, mr. niceguy
Skip ORAS and USUM, they're not worth it
haven't gotten into Box Boy, but I hear Robobot is pretty kino
ORAS was shit but USUM is ok for one playthrough
Been playing a lot of yokai watch 3 these past few weeks while waiting for PQ2. Shit's great.
Original Ruby and Sapphire were my last Pokemon games. Hated the designs of all of them up until Sun/Moon which look really cool
She writes like a girl; it checks out.
Robobot is alright, what makes it good compared to most of the new Kirbys is the gimmick doesn’t slow down or halt the gameplay. The robots feel like a natural extension of Kirby’s gameplay and it’s nice.
y do u do this 2 urself ?
If you play USUM, prepare for a LOT of cutscenes and handholding, though it's harder than gen 6 games.
>after you get to the first city hub
You fucking retard you didn't even play it for 15 minutes. Fucking end yourself
I tried multiple times to finish eov, but always happens the same shit:
>Make party
>Breeze until third stratum
>Defeat stratum boss with a little of strat and changing party comp
>Reach crystal strata
>Lose interest
>Rinse and repeat
And i'm trying to finish dqvii, but god damm it's fucking long, I just recruited Mervyn but each boss requires grinding more, so I'm losing interest too
World 8 castle in SMB3 is kicking my ass and I don't know what to do
As I said, I couldn't get into it. Everything about it up to that point was lackluster. I ran around inside the city and tried to get immersed, so it was probably closer to 30 minutes of gameplay.
>Playing DQ7 at all
kek
It's fun, the story is lighthearted, the ost is marvelous (orchestra version) and the characters are charming (specially Maribell), but damm if it isn't long and grindy
I tried playing my 3ds for the first time in like a year by starting a new town in AC:NL
Then on the second day some faggot moved literally right in front of my house. My 3ds is back in my closet now.
Are other Pokemon games like XY? It was my first Pokemon game and it sucked ass, it was the easiest baby game I ever played in my life. The only thing I enjoyed was collecting pokemons but only until i realized there are pokemons you can't actually get anymore.
I'm willing to give the series an another chance, are the earlier games any better?
>First game was XY
Yeah, it's by far the easiest game in the series. If you want good games go play the gen 4 ones
I got this one because fashion. Did pick up a Happy Home Designer XL too but found it a bit too big to be comfy for long sessions.
The 'Nintendo Presents Nintendo's New Style Boutique by Nintendo, (C) 20xx Nintendo' series is unironically peak 3DS gaming and seems to get written off for being a 'girl game'. Still playing Styling Star now.
i really hated the 3ds and still hate it but i started playing persona q2 and stellas glow on it and found its charm back
the 3d makes it really special
i wish it didnt had a 240p screen
>3ds had so many different edtions and designs
>switch has nothing and will never have anything because of its hardware design
sad
sauce you cropper
People who overlook that series don't deserve it.
I got a red 3DSXL in 2013 and I still play it almost daily. I live in NYC and work 2 jobs, so I do a lot of gaming on the subway and on the toilet. I played the whole Ace Attorney series on this thing, lately I've been clearing Pokemon Black and Inazuma Eleven 2 out of my backlog.
I still have enough in my backlog to take me until the portable version of the Switch inevitably comes out. I'm still thinking of sidegrading to a N2DSXL, for archival purposes. Roughly half of my 3DS library is bought on the eshop, and my 3DS is already 6 years old with thousands of hours of use.
I imagine a fresh model would be perfect for future light use/passing it down when I have a kid.
noice
Great SMT machine. I love my 3DS
>Worse than on an original DS
Not on an XL with IPS screens. It’s literally the second biggest way to play DS games at their native resolution. Only thing bigger is the DSi XL.
>tfw 100%d ALBW on hero mode
>BUT I'm still missing some Dark Link fights objectives and, being a street pass feature, I can't complete them
I got EOU1, EOU2, EO5 and EON all loaded up and ready to go but no motivation to start a single one of them. So I just discovered there's JP-only PuyoPuyo game called PuyoPuyo Chronicle and I am just playing that basically. How do you guys work up the courage to go through 100+ hours of dungeon crawling?
yes i do
I play comfy games like Kirby or Animal Crossing
>Super Mario 3D Land
>Mario Kart 7
>Earthbound
>Kirby Planet Robobot
>The Legend of Zelda: OoT/MM
>Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate
>The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds
>Box Boy
>Star Fox 64 3D
>Super Smash Bros 4
>Super Mario World
>Pushmo
>Metroid Samus Returns
>Super Mario Maker 3D
>Ultimate NES Remix
>Pokemon Shuffle
>Donkey Kong '94
Having all of these amazing games digitally on a single device at all time is seriously the best thing
Don't have any user
Oh hey, I have the Aqua Blue. It's a little tricky playing games that clearly expected you to have a second analogue stick (Monster Hunter, for one), but it's held up very well.
>fe fates
>117 hours
just started this 2 days ago
thx now i can drop it in peace
not going to waste my life on this trash
my SD is not big enough
Love my 3DS
I'm currently playing pic related
Can you hack your 3DS and still play games like Mario Maker and Mario Kart 7 online?
yes but you might be ban
Cheapest model is OG 2DS but do yourself a favour and get a n2DSXL
I've used ctgp 7 online and have faced no problems
>posts this
>thinks knowing about birds is an important skill
Even if they are legit downloads from the eShop?
Play his game Yea Forums
I am playing SJR and the demons in Grus asked me that I kill Ryan and his gang in exchange to meet with Maya.
But I am getting kinda tired of the game.
This is the list of games of the 3DS that I have played by completion order and with what I believe their score is at the right.
Behold my autism, and tell me vidya that I would enjoy to play.
Dude i don't know but i bet you smell like absolute death.
I bought one 2 years ago for SMT games. Best purchase I've ever done. Currently finishing up Etrian Odyssey Nexus.
Conquest is worth a playthrough, its map design is fairly solid. Rev is fucking garbage, feel free to skip that.
i got one of the limited time new 3ds (non-xl) but i played so much monster hunter that the c-stick nub thing wore out. i ended up cutting it out and sticking a psp stick on it and it kinda works but i hate how it looks.
been thinking about getting a 2ds since i love the aesthetic and never use 3d anyway.
I'm not a neet, I just got the system right when Pokemon Y/X released and have played it ever since.
You play any of the other mystery dungeon pokemon games? What was your favorite?
yes
My old regular 3DS xl has a broken circle pad and a big crack in it. I'm planning on replacing it with a new 3ds xl eventually but which color would you recommend?
Snes edition
Terraria on anything else than PC is pain in the ass
Explorers of sky is my favorite, IMO the only bad part of Super is that they fucked up the recruiting system.
sissy
Galaxy style. Rock that middle school student's folder look.
Mine is pretty much a pokemon and Metroid machine now
>Snes edition
sufami or gtfo
I know, but still, for some reason I wanted to see how bad it truly was, it was uncomfortable but is still Terraria so it cannot be that bad.
Haven't played that one. What changed in recruiting?
Can I play pirated NDS games on the 3ds without buying some chink shit r4 card or whaterver is this called?
No
there may be a way but if you wanna do shit like wiimmfi then no
Yes and no but it's much simpler and more effective just to shell out 10 bucks for a flash cart.
i enjoyed samurai chronicles 3 even if it was repetitive button mashing
Now there is a huge ass "relationship map" with pokemon on it, basically in order to get a pokemon you have to recriut it's friends until you can reach that pokemon, so you pretty much get a level 50 salamence party member at the start of the game before any other weaker pokemon, you no longer beat them up on territories to get em, now you just have to do their quests if their are posted.
One of the screws at the back of my 3DS got chipped just when I wanted to dump some games onto it.
It pissed me off, how am i supposed to play PQ2 and Style Savvy now? And no, fuck Citra, whats the point of playing a portable game on a PC when I dont spend a lot of time at home.
You get one of every pokemon(you can still evolve them). Pokémon that you recruit while highly evolved tire out quicker, preventing overuse of the early Salamance for example. Honestly I disliked it since I couldn’t make a team of wooper or use an a team.
You can, but some games are not entirely compatible, like final fantasy crystal chronicles echoes of time, which if I remember correctly refuses to save.
ok
and is there something worth playing on the NDS that dont have straight up port on the 3ds?
was thinking about playing old DQ games mostly, but what else is there?
Not him but for me the problem with super was the game pretty much forcing you to stack a ridiculous amount of reviver seeds, which are easier than ever to come by, yes, but it's honestly annoying. I don't like filling half my bag with those, especially for missions like the Salamence one. I never finished the postgame, only got as far as regaining my partner
Redpill me on the New 2DS. How bad is it compared to the New 3DS XL, mainly
>the speakers
>the hinge
>TN screens
Use twilightmenu++
What are you niggers talking about? It's been possible to play ds games from rom on ds for a while. The only downside is there's a small handful of incompatible games (mostly shovelware) and the long startup times. Other than that completely usable.
The original DS probably has a better library than the 3DS. Like it has Advance Wars, Castlevania, TWEWY, Ghost Trick, Retro Game Challenge and plenty others.
Should I get a N3DS or a N3DS XL?
t. ranny
Actually play my 3DS now that its got home-brew n all that jazz.
Currently playing Luigi Mansion. Pretty fun
N3DS XL if you like the 3D feature because the effect looks cooler on a larger screen
otherwise normal sized
depends on the size of your hands
N3DS, XL is for retarded people, are you retarded user?
I never understood why they made a port of this game so late. It's barely different than the original too.
Donkey Kong Country returns, Super Mario 3D world, and Cave Story. Tried a little bit of the Legend of Zelda Ocarina of time remaster, but never completed it.
anyone else use the system transfer to put their ambassador program on a 3dsXL?
I haven't touched it in years though.
Im looking into creating homebrew and a 4chin application for it
no im just a guy who dislikes women
yes, it was thrilling.
>browsing Yea Forums in 240p which is pic related size
AAAAAHHHHHHHHH
I really didn't like the layout and size of the OG 2DS. n2DSXL is about 150 bucks but that doesn't seem too bad.
Thanks.
hell yea itll be awesome
That looks nice.
Why is the N3DS so hard to come by now?
I've been out of the loop for a while but I thought it'd be a nice upgrade.
I'd just get a N3DS XL because it has better speakers and better build quality on top of optional 3D
Trivia the 3D hentai pictures that pop out of the screen are exactly this size too
Started playing mine again recently the last two weeks, I have megaman X1-3, SMB3, LoZ Oracle of seasons, shovel knight, VC Yellow and Crystal. I’ve been using it mostly as a Pokémon machine though, catching whatever remaining legendaries in USUM and crystal and maxing out teams with my favorite mons. Still a very good and solid handheld.
It came out like eight years ago, didn't it? There's been a ton of different models with highly-marketed releases since - it's not surprising that the original would become comparatively rare.
Mine is falling apart.
Just dug it out to charge.
Pic related
Too bad I can't open it to repair the pad
Anyone here still actually buy their games on the eShop?
But it costs 100 bucks more, is the difference really that great?
If you buy one brand new, maybe. If you get it used, they're about the same price and you can still get one in good quality.
I used to browse paheal on my OG 3DS
do the new 3ds models come with a charger?
Oh I thought he was talking about the New 3DS.
No because you should already have one.
Im having the time of my life anons.I wish i was a child to experience all these wonderful games.
Also which one is better for SNES emulation, 3DS or Vita?
Ah, that. Don't know what's happened with that one.
should i buy a switch or 3ds if i'll only play it while taking a shit and in bed
That sound interesting
I cannot in good faith support this overwhelming judaism
3DS because it actually has games.
Yes, these people are behind the times.
Compatibility isn't 100%, but it's like 90ish%. The only major shortcoming is that it's all very slow to load.
gbatemp.net
Yes and yes. Sony and Nintendo have both said as much. and the 3ds library got cucked for Switch.
im going to yurop for a few months, all i need is a usb to 3ds charger and any usb wall plug or do I also need a converter to charge my burger 3ds?
Been trying to go through my backlog.
Last games I went through were Pocket Card Jockey (surprisingly addictive), Radio Hammer (just ok) and I'm working on Rhythm Thief now.
>Triforce heroes
this game was really fucking fun when it had an active community.
Ultimate NES Remix is just a series of minigames
He's just the tip of the iceberg. Later on, enemies laser-focus on to and automatically know your weaknesses. And because of the weaknesses being tied to your Main Persona, you can't get rid of them through fusion like a normal SMT game.
Easy. get a $10 32gb sd card and follow
It was my first console hack and it took me an hour. i emulate snes games on it. it can natively do GBA and DS games.
gamestop has a usb to 3ds charger
mine lasted for a few years then gave out
bump
Nobody brought the N2DS. Its inferior in everyday.
Post oldest games
I buy every handheld when it is about to die
Now I bough 3ds and Vita
I just love this comfy state when the console is totally hacked and I can put hundreds of games on it
Going to do the same when Switch will be dying
ORAS and USUM are the best Pokémon games on the 3DS, but despite that are extremely mediocre to say the least. Not worth playing now with Sword coming later this year. Alola and 3D hoen are pretty but that’s all they’ve got, 0 substance and almost no reason to keep playing after elite 4.
3DS was hacked back in 2013 and Vita back in 2016
Switch back in 2018
You can do that now
The only “hard” thing about USUM was the necrozma battle. But even that and the totems can be cleared with the right teams and coverage.
yep but I also said - hundreds of games
for now there is not a lot to play on the Switch
I bought a N2DSXL in January and it came with one. I live in the EU though so maybe that's why.
Every Pokémon from gen 6 onwards is easy. Only games worth going back and replaying are Crystal, FRLG, Emerald, Platinum , BW, and BW2. 3D ruined Pokémon, it became all style and no substance
How do the Project X Zone games run in emulation?
For some reason 2DSXL in Europe comes with a charger but 3DSXL not
Are you seriously going to sit there and tell me jean shorts aren't fashionable? BITCH I will cut you.
Been getting the itch to play a mystery dungeon game again. I did red rescue team and explorers of time. Should I play Sky or Super next?
I switched to Vita because its emulator sucks ass and the 3DS' emulator doesn't
No, 2ds and n2ds do
They have them at gamestop and walmart in burgerland. Also a lot of people didnt use the 3D so they just went to the 2ds style. those sell incredibly well
Jorts are for cute girls and Paul Hogan, user.
So.. you WANTED bad emulation?
more like this?
I like the galaxy color
>Post oldest games
>2013
You are like baby.
do it!!!! yes!
galaxy bruhhh
I was 13 I didn't have enough money for a used 3DS until 2013
>2014 was 5+ years ago
OOF
I didn't have any issues at all either, but it is harder than gen 6
check out the red text in this image for more
Is Rythm Thief any good?
I wanna play some groovy rythm shit and the last one I played much of was the Final Fantasy one.
>Anyone still play their 3DS?
Have both an N3DS and a launch Vita. Love both. Enjoy DRPGs on the commute.
yeah its ok,
prefer rhythm heaven tho
Play Yokai Watch 3, user, do it for her.
Man the switch missed out on all of the 3DS's aesthetics.
No menu music
Missing features, like the activity log
Not even LEDs. 3DS had a breathing power LED in sleep mode. Looked really nice.
This is one of my biggest issues with the switch. I know the word "soul" is just a meme and has lost all meaning on Yea Forums at this point but holy shit the switch is so bland and soulless feeling compared to the past few consoles/handhelds Nintendo has put out.
Play Sky first but only because the wonder mail generator is based, Super otherwise.
the funniest thing about this image is that I am fucking a hot gf and when we are taking train for the holidays we always play Heaven Rhythm Megamix and Pokemon on the 3DS.
And some autists from the anime board will tell me that I am a loser because I am using 3ds in the public
>knowledgable in any respectable field
>sports
Go back to your madden
I wish they made more special joycons, and they were cheaper. Having to go aftermarket for any personality is rough. They should have made them have faceplates like the n3ds. M-maybe on switch 2
Was Xenoblade good on 3DS?
>I am fucking a hot gf
does she have a penis?
it was ok, looked like shit, played pretty well
been playing chrono trigger on snes9x. bravely default has been sitting on my SD card for a while, i need to get to it
Got a good bit of time outta my 3DS. I have a switch, but im honestly waiting for M&L 5 before I put the thing down for good.
Let me guess: 90% of that time was trying to get perfect giant battles in the arena
Fucking touch controls
Isn't 5 Paper Jam?
Also I keep seeing people on Yea Forums mention waiting for the new Mario and Luigi game on switch a lot here recently. Is there any actual info or confirmation that they're working on one?
Or is it just people being hopeful?
How were Radiant Historia: Perfect Chronology and Bowser's Inside Story?
tfw 2012 was 9 years ago
Also it took me 37 hours to finish EVERYTHING in the game
Having to play it twice to 100% it is bullshit.
Also I didn't know I have to get every flag so it took me even more tries.
Close. When I was in school I used to play the boss arena mode almost everyday on the bus because I found DT to have some of the best combat in the series. Though fuck the motion controls. Reminds me that this game will never get an update to add a speed up button and no motion control like PJ and the remakes
fucking fun game tho right?
AlphaDream did put up a few jobs for a projects on Nintendo Switch & PS4 awhile ago. Plus people think the remakes are made by their B team, while they work on the next true M&L. I would say PJ is 5, but in japan its the only game to not have a number in the title and simply goes by "Paper Mario Mix".
Yes, I liked the level design, music and basically everything. Would finish it again.
I'm enjoying fantasy life
it has good characters and the character customization is nice
> come for cute girls
>stay for music and hardcore dungeon crawling
Etrian Odyssey is a blast
Play all lives or die.
Not that guy, but its a fun speed game imo. I can beat it in about an hour and a half.
I have 140 hours clocked into Super Mario 3D Land. My most replayed game ever
What are your favorites? haven't picked mine up in a while, need some recommendations. not a big fan of grindy games or 'it gets good x hours in' jrpgs.
haven't ever played a crawler or EO before. where do i start
soon user soon
only got alchemy cooking and magic done so far
Any other TN losers here?
I have 600 hours in story of seasons and still play it. don't fucking ask me how i just really love my waifu
Don't TN panels have a few advantages?
>Try to do all lives
>reach master rank in all of them
>over 100 hours
>still like 3 or so more ranks per live
I'm gonna make it!
Its really good man. I hate that people hate it because its not Sunshine or 64. For me 3D Land & 3D World are excellent games that are hated because they are linear. (They have the best final bosses in the series though)
New Nintendo handheld when?
Hell yeah I play my 3ds. It's one of my favorite platforms to play JRPGs. Recently finished Bravely Default after a year off due to burnout because of the repeat bossfights. That game is actually really fucking good holy shit. Bought the sequel and will be playing that soon.
godspeed user
I got a ds flashcart so I’m just playing through DS games I didn’t touch back then (technically I own some of them by way of my brother but I rather just have everything in a single cart) .
Currently playing partners in time. Weakest mario and Luigi by far but I’m still having fun with it. Playing it on my n3ds xl
What exactly do people hate about ORAS? I dont like the ugliness of the 6th gen 3d npcs, but it’s got all the quality of life improvements that were made since after the originals. If I wanted to experience gen 3 again I’d either replay AS or I’d look for a mod (if it even exists) that makes emerald have all that extra quality of life shit like reusable tm’s and the physical-special split.
I guess the bottom screen doesn't really matter but IPS is still a lot better
huh I havent even bothered looking into super mario 3d land because i just assuned it was mediocre, seems I was wrong
They wanted it to look less "childish". Though I agree some music on the eshop wouldnt be bad.
What its that?
I've a yellow one
3dsident
>haven't ever played a crawler or EO before. where do i start
Start with 3 (DS) or 4, then Untold 1, 2, then 5 and then Nexus if you want more. They all have demos on eshop
thanks I appreciate it. i'll check out 4
>those refurbished 2dsxl that sell for $99 on the official Nintendo store
Should I get one? Is that version decent quality wise?
Switch Mini? That's the closest people could get to a new handheld in 2019.
I have the 3DS that looks like a Persona grimoire but the only game I bought for it was SMT IV.
Remember how the director for Heartgold and Soulsilver wanted to cram in as many features as possible because he wanted to make a remaster that people will want to come back to over and over again?
The director for ORAS actively cut content because he thinks kids are too busy with their phones to care about playing the game.
No, I'm not making this up.
not even 4a?
No, I fell off gaming the last few years. I’ve been using it to replay Strange Journey but I’ll probably get some of the newer games at some point. I also thought about Fire Emblem but I don’t want to get into them if they’re too different than the GBA games
The build quality of the N2DSXL seems absolute dogshit, but every time I feel like it would be nice to have a N3DSXL, I remember that they had the audacity to make their device into a fucking IPS lottery in addition to its hardware being outrageously weak to begin with, and I swear never to buy anything from Nintendo.
does the IPS screen really look that much better?
its really great as something to go along with the switch, its a goat emulator machine and alot of the ds stuff is great as a backwards compatable machine
plus it has shit like kid icarus uprising
Think there will be a new batch of Selects titles?
I have an original 2DS because I got it for very few euritos and despite my age I never had any handheld in my entire life and I didn't know if I would enjoy it or not.
Long story short I've played the thing probably more than all the other consoles I own, fell in love with Fire Emblem series on it, enjoyed Stella Glow even if it's clunkier and sluggish but at least it has a good story, unlike FE Fates.
Currently trying a run on FE Conquest on lunatic but holy shit it's hard as hell
>uprising
I've heard a bunch of good things about this shit that aren't the gameplay. How is it? Does the game ruin circle pads?
Yes, it does.
flying sections work good with the left stick and touch screen
on ground combat is fun but is the one time I wished circle pad control was a thing for it.
Nintendo's refurb stuff is the best, i would go for it
Can the bottom screen be IPS and the upper screen not? I think that's what I've got. Doesn't bother me, though.
>circle pad control
What do you mean, do you walk automatically on the ground?
kys weightfag
its possible
no, one circle pad is to move, in order to aim you use the touch screen
even with the circle pad pro the second one only is to accommodate left handed controls, no way to aim with circle stick, its good for flying sections, but it starts to really make itself known the more you get on the ground so take a brake every once in a while.
what did he mean by this
On the ground you control the character with the circle pad and the camera with the stylo, which isn't the easiest thing to do at first, you need to get used to it
I only ever had/have the first blue original 3ds.
Kid icarus uprising is probably my favourite game even on it, even if the camera could get a bit janky in some ground sections.
Daily reminder that IPS is a meme and the TN screens on the N2DSXL are basically the same
Daily reminder that whatever Nintendo does is the best thing in the world.
I still have mine that I bought back in 2013 and it's still going strong. I don't play it as much anymore but I always come back a year or so later and replay OoT and the various pokemon games in the meantime when I do pick it back up.
Favorite model is the black regular sized n3DS.

Monster Hunter 4U is great also.
I might pick up a second hand regular size new 3DS, how easy is the data tranfer? from one system to another? Don't want to lose all my ambassador games.
HAVE SEX
unironically have sex
How insecure you have to be to type all of that.
I have tons of games to play on the system.
But I've hade a Fire Emblme Marathon on in this year because I missed out on the hype earlier.
Beat Fire Emblem 1, 3, 4 and Awakening so far. I would boot up Fates or 5 but I'm busy with Final Fantasy XII atm.
No. IPS vs TPS is an absolute meme and you won't even notice the difference unless you're doing a side-by-side comparison such as with However I still say that the N3DSXL is a better deal than the N2DSXL if only because the build quality is so much better.
Like most incels you'll become a tranny or gay.
Cool bro, 3ds its a good game
Daily reminder Labo is gay but TN on a 2DSXL is fine
>I was 13
When did you start coming here?
injects are the way to go for GBA since they are native, but what about NES/SNES games? is the injector the best way or should i just get individual emulators/retroarch?
Been playing a lot on mine recently too, Small black N3DS here. Its perfect for me at work when im at break.
Recently completed Super Metroid on it again.
they're good for basically any game but stuff like warioware GBA doesn't support tilt control with injection method so you need to use an emulator for those kinda game
Galaxy is overrated and EVERYONE has that piece of shit
Now THIS, THIS IS ART
Should i get luigis mansion, pq2, or something else?
I just finished SJ and need something to play for a bit until Bloodstained
exterior is aesthetically perfect but the floppy screen and bezels ruin it.
I liked the small New 3DS, though I never got any faceplates for it, and the Animal Crossing ones that came with it were too busy for me.
I liked a bunch of the SMT games that were on it, and I also sunk a lot of time into Animal Crossing and the Fire Emblem games, though I never got Echoes.
Would you say Animal Crossing NL is still worth getting? Never played an AC game before, don't really know what you do in it.
It's my most played game on the 3DS, so I'd say so. Only thing I didn't like is that mean villagers aren't mean anymore.
Do you have a Switch? Do you plan on getting one?
If the answer is no to both, then go for it.
youtube.com
what games you say deserves a fan translation?
Was Shadows of Valentia any good? Also how is the 3DS port of Luigi's Mansion?
Why is DK: Country better on the 3DS rather than the Wii? I have seen a lot of people say this
it doesn't require motion controls to roll. but it looks like shit so there is a trade off.
How was LBX? I liked the anime a lot.
Why the fuck 3DS XLs so expensive?
DKCR 3D has an extra world too.
they are $120 refurbished from nintendo. (nintendo refurbished is basically brand new)
oh ok, thank you.
I bought fire emblem awakenings yesterday
is PQ2 the final 3DS game?
Name of the theme?
>Playing games
i think it looks pretty nice. a little on the jaggy side but i haven't played the wii version so i dunno how big the difference is.
Anybody?
the n3ds is better than a vita for SNES emulation. at the very least you have the 30 official SNES VC games which run perfectly.
What emulator user?
Would you recommend this game or no
Bought this one like two months ago. Put a 64GB microSD in it then did the B9S hack. Just started playing MHGen.
>floppy screen and bezels
>giving a shit about this
Get raped
Yes but these days I mostly use it to play DS games. Going through Attack of the Saiyans right now.
i'd prefer something like this, personally.
Oh shit is this real?
>pokemon y
>9/10
yikes! get better taste.
Oh god no.
>being this much of a careless neckbeard with your toys
The fuck are you doing to your handheld manchild? Flinging it across the room whenever things don't go your way?
>underestimate the power of autism
dude, you also think all headphones sounds the same and people just follow the meme and buy professional sound equipment.
>They wanted it to look less "childish".
they failed, because the joycons make it look like a leapfrog toy. especially the different-colored ones.
I really only use my 3ds to play Binding Of Issac. Been meaning to add more emulators and games, but I don't feel like unscrewing the back.
No emulator.
Just inject roms into the 3DS.
Google snes roms injector 3DS
Tsk, those are some wild assumptions.
I've had the machine for 8 years, spend many hours on Kid Icarus and Monster Hunter and some intense platformer games. Nothing lasts forever.
This is one of the reasons why is 2DSXL pretty good
Half steps I guess.
If you hack it, you can use FTP, I suppose.
Or you could treat your shit better. I babysit my two nieces and have for the last 3 years. I have had my 3ds since 2013. They play on it all the time and never once have they even dinged it. Treat your shit better you manchild.
maybe the switch's success will convince sony to try again.
user FTP is the way to go. You dont wanna risk stripping your screws like I did. 3DS screws are ridiculously weak
Guys anyone know where can I download Fantasy Life dlc?
they won't, sony is bleeding too much money in every other field other then gaming to experment with anything in their cash cow
Bros I downloaded KH DDD some months ago, only played through the second world and got bored
Turn on the 3D slider to maximum bro.
the game is dogshit dont bother
Guys, tell me is PQ2 the final 3DS game? I need to know because the plates are hard as fuck to take off my 3DS and I want them to stay on. (got the small n3ds.)
Pq2 probably. They mostly fixed everything annoying from the first game and it’s more bearable now
physical vita, digital 3DS
If you're not a KH fan why would you even play it? It's a unique game and I like it but it has it's flaws just like BBS.
Fuck yeah, now that I've graduated from college I have time to finally finish Etrian Odyssey Nexus. That whole series is great but this is the only one I've yet to beat.
Is this still worth picking up?
Or should I just get a switch?
Based diamond dogs
Isn't the dlc part of a patch or something like dark souls? I remember just downloading something small to unlock it.
nah. its a butchered wii u version.
Oh god... This is awesome
cfw'd my 3ds a few months back so I've got a bunch of old GBA & DS games emulated and I'm going through Pokemon Y too atm and fucking hell it's terrible, Moon was alright but this is dreadful
Finally beat him but yeah I'm gonna have to go through some fusion autism and get the sub ones the good resistances, but it's doable
Im about to finish FE echoes and after that it'll be the end of it.
I'll keep my 3ds to play to wonderfull sega classic 3d arcade games until they re-release those on the switch. Which I hope they do.
Holy fuck based
Playing Majora's Mask 3D for the first time.
I'm done listening to this board. This game looks and plays fantastic. The exaggerated hissy fit over this game is so fucking autistic.
Sony admitted with the Vita its not happening. Not profitable enough, and mobile gaming is too cheap
Shame on Sony. Vita is the best handheld of all time considering its homebrew support
Man i cant find ds emus anywhere. But i got my gbas on it. Fusion is great with the big screen and backlight
Hey Yea Forums I was trying to be nice and I let some guy borrow my 3ds and he cracked my fucking top screen. I'd send it to nintendo for repairs but it's hacked and because of that they're not gonna repair it
Don't trust myself to tear this thing apart and put it back together with a new screen and the place that can repair the thing nearby is charging me a hefty price for it but I'm not finding any better options. Should I just give up and use Citra for 3ds stuff now?
Well thats nice user but if they aint making money you cant blame them for getting out, especially with people homebrewing then pirating.
I got a ton of hours playing Y mainly because of online and how fun it was before 3ds was easily hacked a few months after the release of X&Y. Nowadays people that play the games are left with the poor story that single player has.
you can unhack your 3ds very easily.
Thats sad to hear user. I would look for 3rd party repair
Thats true. Greedy fucks could have made some money like the switch did if they didnt sell proprietary memory cards
I still play Final Fantasy Theatrythm Curtain Call semi regularly either before going to sleep or when waking up. Good game for chilling in bed.
ehhh not really, the vita's library is pretty terrible if you don't like niche anime games. and yes i know you can play psp and ps1 games on it, but you could also do that on a $20 psp.
Why is the library so limited though?
I'm using TWiLight Menu++ with nds-bootstrap for mine, seems to work with most games quite well
yeah the story is utter dogshit, and there are loads of weird systems like the fashion requirements and O-Powers that I just ignore, apparently I also missed all of the rollerskating tricks as well. I'll probably just finish the pokemon league and move on to be honest, though I don't know how good the endgame stuff is.
On the other hand, if they allowed any old SD card, i can see pirating being worse. so its kinda a damned if you do, damned if you dont situation. They cant make enough proprietary cards to make them cheaper per gig, and they didnt want to let any normal one work.. then game support kinda dried up outside weaboo games
The Vita has a pretty fucking cool library if you missed the PSP, and honestly digital>UMD.
Is twilight menu++ compatible with gm9, luna, and such?
if it was then you would see threads about it nonstop
Nintendo doesn't repair 3DS units anymore. Just 2DS.
Walmart, best buy, target have them in burgerland
>Don't care about what others think of them, so they wear what they think "looks cool"
Imagine unironically thinking this, dressing for other's instead of dressing what's comfy.
yeah, I've got gm9 and luma on mine
It's just done through a couple of cia files so it's fairly easy
one time i was playing jump ultimate stars on the bus, and two people were fighting over it. one guy had his hand on the top screen, other on the bottom screen, and they pulled it apart. i sat there silent, but one of them fully paid for a new one.
there's a gbatemp thread for TWiLight Meu++ I would link but it won't let me ofc, but it has all the instructions for getting it set up and getting cover art and stuff to show up too though I can't be bothered with that
I can only offer my opinion. I'd say it's because the Vita came out swinging trying to show how console quality its games could be rather than play to the benefits of the hardware. The end result was powerpoint presentation versions of Call of Duty and Borderlands, watered down Uncharted, etc. It had the worst of both worlds, and developers noticed.
Ok good to know, i was hesitant to mess with any more emus after getting mine set up and needing to start over when a gba rom corrupted it and i had to start over
>newfags are still falling for quentinbait
the thing with the vita is that sony (wrongly) chalked its failure up to the handheld market being dead and smartphones replacing it. maybe the switch's success in japan since then will make them reconsider.
You mean the market that is completely dominated by smartphone apps is going to be the one that convinces people that smartphone apps aren't the best way to make money?
I use these emus (blargsnes, snes9x, mGBA and retroarch) and haven't had any problems so far, don't tend to use retroarch too much since the performance ain't great and I can't remember which of blarg and 9x I use for snes
I know, but i'm pretty sure there's still a trace of CFW on the device even with uninstallation. I'd rather not risk getting the system refurbished.
I use snes9x for snes and its pretty great. you get 5 save states/game and it displays the fps on bottom screen and you can switch games super fast. Most games play as i remember, with a few hiccups like DOOM, but i remember the snes DOOM port being ass anyway
Rune Factory 4 is my favorite I still need to beat it though.
is pq2 the last 3DS game? is it you fucks?
I doubt it'll be but it'll definitely be the last 3ds game of note for many
Should I buy pic related?
they have the XL models, not the regular sized ones.
>psx
How's the fps, user?
yeah I reckon it's 9x I use too, I was surprised at how ass the retroarch ones are, even on the new 3ds xl. literally the only good retroarch emulator is the NES one.
Legit schizophrenia
It's doing what Persona 4 was to the PS2
it's cool but it's not $30 more expensive cool
>Emulate
>Portable
Besides the games they have, why do you think people buy portables?
Oh my bad misunderstood. no i think Nintendo discontinued them; your options are n2ds, n2dsxl, and 3dsxl. Or what Nintendo REALLY wants the Switch
i dare not try because I know how shit it will be, was considering trying to get FFVII or MGS on there but couldn't get it working and figured I'd be better off doing it on my PC anyways, got a Vita I could always fuck with as well for that anyways.
So what's the appeal of Mario Maker 3DS if you can't upload/download levels?
I'm curious as to what people play on their 3DS now, as I'm struggling to find reasons to play this thing.
This, i can play Mario All Stars, Metroid Fusion, Pokemon Crystal, Turtles in Time, and Luigis Mansion all in one box
Going to Japan in September. Are there any Japan-only games worth buying a JP 3DS?
the challenge mode (nintendo created levels) is pretty fun.
?
It's true user. I doubt whatever team they still have with bother looking but I'd rather not take the risk
Thank god my 3ds is hacked, this shit's expensive on the eshop
what else could they possibly announce?
Animal crossing new leaf or Rune factory 4. which oe is the comfiest game just to laid back and relax?
Both are comfy, but different kinds of comfy
Is there any difference between a New 3dsxl and a New 2dsxl besides the 3D and price? I just check on Amazon and I may buy one.
Currently going through the atlus games on the thing then going to my ps3 to beat the ps2 shit
>desu 3 when
Luigis Mansion, ds games like Mario 64ds, star fox and zelda ports, link between worlds, monster hunter, pokemon, Samus Returns, Kirby, Mario Maker, Mario Kart, Mario 3d land, new mario rpg.
If you have a switch probably not much of a reason to.
Im currently playing it and its pretty good, dont really remember the GCN version but it plays well enough, as far as I can tell its the same game but with worse graphics.
3ds has better build quality and an easily replaceable battery. get them refurbished straight from nintendo and you will save a lot of money.
I feel like Animal Crossing is less demanding than Rune factory.
That means it also feels less rewarding but they are both comfy.
>pokemon
Compared to the N3DSXL, New 2DS XL has worse build quality, speakers on the bottom instead of the face, no 3D and a different design with rearranged card slots.
Anons I have a N3DSXL and a Vita with retroarch. Which one is better for SNES and GBA games?
Its ok, I still prefer my OG
Probably not but most likely the last from atlus
I'm playing EO Nexus right now. This game is really long.
I had several issues on my 2DSXL so I uninstalled CFW, now all I get is a black screen when I boot it up. Would I be able to fix it with an R4? I'm seriously fucking bummed as I absolutely loved playing both Monster Hunter games and it was my first foray into JRPGs. I'd hate to have completely bricked it.
the 3ds for sure. vita is not that great at emulation aside from psp/ps1.
I see, I wanted to go cheap but it seem a N3DSXL may be better on the long run.
All these games and I haven't touched it in a year.
play faster
But the colours look better on the Vita.
>ex troopers
>slime morimori 3
>re:digitize decode
>the medarot series
>monster hunter diary
>yo-kai watch busters 2
I believe that one is Room 2?
you can't really do better than pixel perfect mode on the 3ds 240p screen.
I noticed the scanlines and they add to the comfiness. Also the dpad on the Vita is better. Im really confused
Sega 3DClassics are incredible
If you install update cias through fbi and internet disabled, you won't get banned right?
I’m interested in a couple of eShop games: Corpse Party and Pushmo. Does anyone know if they are any good? How about the Bowser inside Story and Kirby Epic Yarn ports?
Ive 2ds XL and I honestly find it less ergonomic than DSLite. Had my share of fun with it, but I prefer games like monhun emulated. Installing games via fbi is kinda hassle with how long it takes and need for double space.
That aside it still had great library and on top of it you can play ds,gba and other games.
No you wont.
>Installing games via fbi is kinda hassle with how long it takes and need for double space
Is the N3DS XL better then?
Also what's the program for telling what screens your system has?
Pushmo is a lot of fun and it's sequel Stretchmo is just as good.
you can do anything you want on the internet except play with cheats or a modded game. They can pick that shit up.
Everything else is fair game. I download updates from the official servers and I've never received a ban ever
Go to the discord from
They are super helpful
Aren’t there 3 of them? They look quite fun, I’ll pick the 1st one up when I finish Baba on Switch
if you want to emulate n3ds is generally better, and some games like Y and Moon run better on them thanks to the better hardware, then ofc Xenoblade is locked to needing a N3ds but it's up to you depending on what you want
>NES/SNES/GBA/GB games
What are some good ones to get?
no you dumbass, go back to r3ddit you fucking brainlet.
for you, which one is the best one?
>3DS died without getting Virtual Boy ports
and what P5R will be for the ps4
Not until the ps5 is officially announced. If the Xbone and Ps4 and anything to judge by, the ps4 will at least live another 2 years after the ps5 and next gen xbox get released
I've been playing Pokemon Crystal on it. Still my favorite Nintendo handheld.
What's the best handheld?
I don't care about games on the Switch (minus Sword and Shield) and the fact that the Switch is a handheld that you can't fit into your pocket is a massive turnoff for someone who just plays when on the train or when I'll be on the plane to visit my parents. Is the 3DS or Vita better? I already have the former with CFW and playing DS games is nice.
Speaking of crystal,
My 3ds is hacked and can play anything I throw at it except the official Pokemon roms, Any of them.
Oh good, I heard USUM 1.2 sent bans so I refused to update
Why don't you just do VC injects? Gen 1/2 were released officially, Gen 3 can be done through GBA injects, and Gen 4/5 can be run through Twilight Menu++.
I'm enjoying persona q2 and strange journey redux.
Also you can't go wrong with rune factory 4, the kirby games, devil survivor 1&2, xenoblade chronicles, ace combat, project x zone 2, picross 1-6, radiant historia
You can pirate all the japan only games you want.
If you insist on buying, rocketslime 3 is great, same with dragon quest joker 3.
I heard good things about MHXX as well.
Probably.
>NES
Megaman 1-6, ninja gaiden, gimmick!
>SNES
Super metroid, chrono trigger, secret of mana, act raiser, live a live, donkey kong 1-3, lufia 2, demon's crest, zelda: link to the past, megaman 10, super mario world 1&2, final fantasy 4, 5, 6, kirby super star, terranigma, super mario rpg...
>GBA
Metroid fusion / zero mission, metal slug, the pokemon romhacks (if you want), legend of zelda oracle of ages/seasons + link's awakening, golden sun, the castelvania games, megaman battle network, mother 3...
Nope, You're absolutely fine! just don't play Modded games.
Have fun, user.
Reminder that you can hold start while booting a NDS/GBA/GBC/GB game in order to play it at its native resolution.
with the GB/GBC games it adds a cute 3d effect too
There was a banwave awhile ago but its ceased. i wouldnt be surprised if theres 1 more before they retire the 3ds banning for good and move to Switch. BUT the switch also had the porn balloon issue so their priorities are probably elsewhere
it's lame that there's no true pixel mode or whatever for NES games. They look like ass on the 3DS
>Also what's the program for telling what screens your system has?
3DSident
Any DKC roms that allow for Game Genie-style code fuckery? Like unlocking every level from the start or making the save spots obsolete entirely?
Also should I get a 3DS XL, N3DS Xl or N2DS XL? If N3DS XL how do I make it colorful? Any good skins? Or are skins bad?
I have been a New 3DS XL owner since late 2016. I am currently trying to finish Samus Returns before going into Bravely Default. I also played Mario Land 3D, Smash Bros, A Link Between Worlds, and Fire Emblem Echoes.
I am also going to go through Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask.
Scarlett Johansson has a (((fucked up))) mouth.
>bring 3ds on long trip with 10+ hour flight
>play mh4u
>get stressed out, game is still intense and pumps me up despite having played mh games for hundreds of hours
>kill one monster, turn off game
I can’t play monster hunter on the go like this, what are some good casual games to get? Anything turn based I guess.
Don’t really care for Pokémon but if there’s some really good complete one I’d think about it.
You can’t play old comfy games like Super Metroid without being a leet haxor right?
You should get a n3dsxl because you have more options and it's easier to emulate without issues.
The 2dsxl is a nice price, but the screens suck, the speaker placement is shit, so is the hinge and the material on the outer casing. It's worth it to splurge an extra $50. The only thing that's good about the n2dsxl is the sd card placement.
It's kind of a pain in the ass on the n3dsxl model, but you just need a size 0 screwdriver.
If you want cheats, I think there's an application called ntr. It works for 3ds games, not sure about nes, snes or gba.
>if n3dsxl how do I make it colorful?
No idea what you mean. But there are color restoration roms out there, unfortunately the ones I had access too (via mega) got taken down.
>any good skins
Like faceplates? Also no idea. I thought they only had faceplates for the regular size 3ds.
Same here friend. Lately I have been playing mostly short, 2D platformers. Having a lot of long JPRGs installed kinda demotivates me to play them. Pick one JRPG and a few shorter/arcade style games.
>still posting the rambling of the mentally ill for (You)s
>what are some good casual games to get?
Warioware Gold. Any Gen 4-7 Pokemon too. Dr. Mario Miracle Cure is fun. Poochy and Yoshi's Wolly World, any of the Kirby games, oh and emulated SNES classics.
>You can’t play old comfy games like Super Metroid without being a leet haxor right?
Do you have a New 3DS?
>what are some good casual games to get.
The picross games. Seriously. Get one and try it out. Try the old ones, then go to the 3d ones, also you can buy and play super metroid if you have a n3ds model.
If you do hack your 3ds, you can play nes, snes, gba and genesis games without much hassle.
The n3ds models are better for that sort of thing though.
Goodnight 3DS thread.
Didn't think I'd end up appreciating this console so much in the end, always had a bit of a love/hate relationship with it.
>but the screens suck
Still don't really get this complaint. They look fine to me.
>the speaker placement is shit
Eh.
>so is the hinge and the material on the outer casing
Also don't really get this. It all feels fine.
>No idea what you mean.
Pic related. Japs, Aussies and Eurofags got more standard colors America. For some reason.
That's why I want the blue and black N2DS XL. Good color. Black is drab, my old 3ds is red, and I hate special editions.
I can't believe I missed a 3DS thread
I like the Alliance Alive
I'm thinking about playing MH. Which 3DS Monster Hunter is the best one? Also, how well does it Monster Hunter Stories plays on the o3DS? I have an XL with a Circle Pad Pro, but since I don't usually play N3DS enhanced games, I never felt the need to upgrade.
cringe
MH4U is definitely the best. Start with that one.
calm down hero loli
