I think there are scenarios where a wireless mouse makes sense. I have a wireless mouse that I bring with me on trips to use with my laptop and it's more compact to carry around and since I have to use my laptop in a variety of locations the lack of wire can be very practical.

If you're playing against competent players you can't cover all the angles 100% of the time. Meaning, you will still find yourself in situations where turning 180 degrees is necessary. If I was solo retaking A against 4 guys, first I all I wouldn't go through CT. If I was, I wouldn't be all the way back near double doors in the open where I'm visible from multiple angles. I would push into CT so if someone came up behind I can duck behind cover before engaging them. If I got a kill A side I would then turn around to check before reengaging A. Keeping yourself covered from as many angles as possible is very important.

I'm also not playing against pro players either man. If someone happens to flank me without me knowing I'll be dead in 1 headshot or if they're too bd to hit headshots I have time to reposition to engage accordingly.

Footsteps aren't the only sound in the game. During the preceding time in the round can you not hear gunshots and grenades going off? You should be able to narrow down where everyone is or could reasonably be before you even see someone.

Even if no sound is being made you can reasonably expect certain people to be in certain positions on the map. If your whole team is in one area, you should absolutely expect a flank unless you spot everyone elsewhere. If you're tunnel-visioned on one area to the point where someone can slow walk all the way up behind you, that's an awareness problem and not a problem with the ability to whip around 180 instantly.

Might want to check who manufactures the panel of whatever monitor you're using there user, LG make a decently large proportion of them, to the point certain resolution / framerate combinations are exclusively manufactured by them.
Also if you have any battery banks or devices that have Lithium Ion batteries as LG manufactures those too.
