I have never played Skyrim and that's one of the few games in my quite big library that I never even started. But I have a question and I hope you can help me: I am not a virgin and although I'm certainly not the most alpha male you can find in a social circle, I'm certainly all but a nerd. It's rather easy for me to get girls to like me, I have a decent body, a job, a car and an apartment of my own... so, I'm not a loser.
Should I still give this game a chance?

You must see captchas all day

Then you'll love Skyrim it was dumbed down for normalfags

Op I have a gf, a car, I workout everyday, and I get get almost straight A’s in college and I have internships lined up. And I also have hundreds of hours logged on Skyrim, it’s good, you should play it

You forgot "brainlet idiots" as well

>straight A’s
English is not my first language so take my question as acuriosity. Why do people on the internet use apostrophes to make plurals? Wouldn't "As" be a better and more direct plural than "A's"?

Skyrim is a lot more enjoyable if you played the previous games, as least lore wise
Though even then it falls very short of past TES games

To be honest with you I think the only people use an apostrophe in this case is because if you didn’t it would just look like the word “as”

>if you didn’t it would just look like the word “as”
But the context would be enough to differentiate a plural of the grade A and the word As... and then I see everywhere "story's instead of "stories" and similar things.

To answer your first point, I just think it looks better in that one example of letter grades that’s why I do it desu, it’s a special circumstance I guess
So apostrophes have two different uses, to show a conjunction like “he is” to “he’s”. And it’s other use to to show possession over something, like if you were saying “john’s house” or “Tim’s feelings” so the only time you should see somebody say “story’s” is if they were saying something like “this story’s plot is bad” or “this story’s writer is funny” that doesn’t technically make it plural or singular, “story’s” can be either. And as for “stories” that is like if you were saying “I like those stories”, basically “stories” is a strictly plural word

That's what I'm saying. People write story's as a plural for story. Or activity's as a plural for activity Why?

Technically you are supposed to say “As” but because it’s a singular letter plural it is tolerated if you say “A’s” so it’s really whichever

poor education. if english is your first language and you dont learn another you tend to be shit at it. possessives are one aspect that most dont bother to learn and arent corrected on

I’d have to see specific examples but I’m gonna go ahead and say it’s bad grammar or autocorrect

Because they're fucking stupid user. It's also why people write "would of" instead of "would have". Native English speakers don't bother learning English.

Or perhaps a majority of this websites users haven’t gotten past 9th grade yet

>Native English speakers don't bother learning English.
But this way wouldn't they fail primary school? How do they reach college if they cannot even write a plural correctly?

There are, second language speakers, kids still in middle/high school, drug addicts, people who dropped out of school, and people with flat out autism who make up a large chunk of this websites user base. You can’t expect everyone to have perfect grammar and spelling, especially when 90% of people don’t even read their post after typing them to check for grammar/spelling mistakes

>second language speakers
This I don't understand. I am a second labguage speaker and I never had in my life been told that plurals get buit by using apostrophes. I would never even tought about the possibility of actually doing that. So I really don't think that's the case.

You picked one example out of several and I’m gonna go ahead and say you are from a country like Germany where the education system is good. I’m talking about second language speakers from places like Brazil and Mexico. And not to be a dick but even though your not improperly using apostrophes your writing is still pretty rough.

Have sexual intercourse

>your

But he said that he already has

>This I don't understand
Sentence fragment
>labguage
>and I never had in my life been told that
>plurals get buit
Not only misspelled but the proper spelling would still be really bad grammar
>I would never even tought about the possibility of actually doing that
Misspelled “thought” and the grammar is fucked even with proper spelling
>so I really don’t think that’s the case
Another fragmented sentence

Apostrophes and “yours” should not be your concern user

Thanks for correcting me, it's always useful to have a feedback to improve since I'm from a non-English country and I'm learning it as a second language. But I was talking about Americans and British people, shouldn't they know how to talk/write proper English?

Well I don’t exactly think you fully understand what proper English is considering your level of skill.

It's the meme buzzword user

Why are you so mad & bitter? Do you feel like you need to talk? About anything? I'm here mate.

As stated here You’re not exactly getting the cream of the crop when it comes to intelligence on this website, go to your countries version of Yea Forums and there will probably be tons of people who fuck up your native language. Not only that but I’ve seen no examples of these so called spelling errors you’ve been talking about so how am I to know that you, as a second language speaker weren’t the one making the mistake in your understanding

what does your life have to do with this? play the game if you want, nobody gives a shit.

>what does your life have to do with this?
Well I'm not a virgin so I wasn't sure about playing a game made for virgins, that's all

>i'm not a virgin, guys, i swear.
lol. have sex.
