its obviously a quick release on a tight budget with a small team. thats why its not called NMH3. suda hasnt directed a game in a long time after becoming president of grasshopper. he was inspired by indie games and wanted to make one of his own with those limitations. also since it was designed for switch, 2 player co-op was a focus so the game was developed around that.
