Dawnguard is probably the worst written plot Bethesda has ever done, Hearthfire barely qualifies as anything but horse armor tier DLC

it's worth getting back into if your PC can handle mods

Shilling this much.
Does Mr. Hines and Mr. Howard blow you consistently?

dragonborn is kino

but you should really get into modding, it probably has the biggest modding scene

>user says that the DLC sucks
>"WOW YOU FUCKING SHILLS!"

Were you dropped on your head or something?

Hearthfire changed Skyrim for me in a big way. Both of the other two have fun content. Do it.

Dragonborn has a real Morrowind vibe to it but you'll need to play up until level 30 or so to go there it's higher level

>Hearthfire barely qualifies as anything but horse armor tier DLC
but some great housing mods rely on it. even when bethesda fucks the goat, they still manage to make money its unreal.

It doesn't feel any different from the dozens of player home mods.

Just get Enderal: Forgotten Stories instead. A game sized total overhaul mod that is superior to Skyrim with all DLC. Its so good it even has its own steam page. Amazes me that its free.

Dragonborn is fanwank for people who played Morrowind. That said, it is a pretty cool add-on. Dawnguard, less so, but the extra systems are fun. being a vampire is lame as hell. being a Vampire Lord is very cool. the new gear for every thing is quite cool. I LOVE Hearthfire, because I like building stuff. I am such a sucker for open-world busywork.

Like others have said, Skyrim is an ancient, broken game, and if you aren't playing with mods, it isn't worth it. I play on PS4, so I don't have all the crazy stuff that is on other systems. But, just a the Unofficial Skyrim Patch and something to fix the weather make a world of difference.

Might as well buy the special edition, it runs better and has the DLC included

You build your homes, in Hearthfire. There are also a bunch of other additions, too. like, you can adopt kids, for what that is worth

Dragonborn is worth it, dawnguard and hearthfire not so much

dragonborn proves that any high fantasy can be covered well by bethesda. the graphics perfectrly represent morrowind

Dawnguard no, Dragonborn yes, simply because you get to go to Apocrypha.

>Morrowind: Bloodmoon revolved around Hircine
>Oblivion: Shivering Isles revolved around Sheogorath
>Skyrim: Dragonborn revolved around Hermaeus Mora
Which deadric prince will have DLC in ES6

one of the things Skyrim did well was represent the princes/princesses well. its probably going to depend on where the game is set, maybe? dunno. it fucking better not be Sheogorath again all i gotta say.

I highly doubt it's even possible for anything to be worse than F3's main questline

If you liked Skyrim, go for it. If you didn't like it, they don't add anything significant to your experience. Both dlc's are very forgettable, and I personally didn't even finish the dragonborn one, as I got too bored halfway through.

Neither of them brings any cool mechanics and the stories are as bland as the main game. There is literally no reason to replay them so if you want to check them out, don't expect anything special, but I suppose they are worth your time in case you want to see it for yourself. I'm just glad I didn't pay any money for them.

EBONARM

It's worth playing again if you turn off the compass & quest markers in the preference ini file, turn the lighting to the lowest setting and disable or simply not check the map while you're out in the world.

book it nippa
