Is the first one also worth playing? Looks neat user
No don't play the first one.
Shadow Ops Red Mercury
norse mythology kino
Amazing game but that's a really bad showcase for it.
I remember liking it in the beginning when you just chopping dudes apart, but then it got too hard. It's been years tho. I should replay.
So much freedom in how you can overcome this game with the equipment you find, combining your own light, medium, heavy esque combos to the face buttons. Specializations via the stats too. Eternal sadness that rengoku 3 never came to fruition.
This game is awesome, it's just really expensive, but I would recommend emulating it, as dumb as that sounds. If you are at all familiar with the Gundam VS. games, it pretty much runs a direct parallel, as the engine for this game was used in Federation Vs. Zeon, and Gundam Vs. Zeta Gundam.
Good shit user.
not OP but I played through on hard
it was a lot of fun
the only unfair part I remember is the elephant boss that drops bones from the sky with no telegraph unless I'm retarded
That's not a hidden gem you fool that's a well known rerelease of two classic games.
That game's actually generally well regarded.
Conan was enjoyable
I remember it being one of the first few "next gen" games i ever saw a trailer for, along with lost planet 1.
Shit was mind blowing at the time
Binary Domain isn't a Yea Forums hidden gem but in the wide world of vidya, it's pretty much forgotten. What a great game though.
I don't think Prototype has been forgotten, but I hardly ever hear anyone talk about it nowadays. I've heard gaming described as power fantasies. If that's true then Prototype is one of the best. You're an unstoppable shapeshifting monsters unleashed on New York City and you fucking feel it. The professional military chatter as you cleave through them really adds to the atmosphere. It's not a perfect game by any means but I keep coming back to it. Absolutely top notch progression system. It saddens me that the developers explicitly thought that the progression system was one of the worst things about it and ruined it in 2. 1's fundamentals are great but 2's are all rotten.
I liked it a lot too, user. I beat it and enjoyed every second of it.
Lack of interesting enemies/boss fights are really the only thing that held this game back. It's begging for a clash between another super human but I just remember jump kicking a ton of helicopters.
Waste of good mechanics imo
yfw rune 2 is coming
remake when
Everyone fucking hated this when it released but it's actually a decent third person shooter with mass effect powers and some tactical elements with cool 50's aesthetic
I love this game. Played it again recently on my Saturn.
