They've added a few but only the cards that work in the system confines. All the good cards in an archetype are pretty complex for links.

That card is a meme, nobody ever used it. A lot of the really good cards are pretty straightforward. This is a new-ish pendulum card and people were praising its potential but ultimately nothing ever came of this deck
