Look around for a used/reconditioned office furniture store. I bought floor model Steelcase Gesture for $200.

the dumpster

>go to furniture store
>try chairs out then buy one

These threads are fucking pointless.

>Go to
>J Y S K
>Try all their chairs
>Lumbago is wrong on most of them
>So is curvature
>Even the premium one tends to lack adjustable arms
Just saying that you need to go to stores until you find reasonable chairs.
Another problem is that a lot of chairs are designed for gnomes thats 160cm tall. So their backs and spines are too short.

don't buy a c heap chair dude they break super fucking easy. i've broken a ton of mine and i spent less than $100

i would say buy $200 or more chair because the $100 ones support up to like 250 pounds and they break easily.

i'm not even fat and i've torn through 4 fucking chairs in about 5 years.

I've used the same $20 office chair from craigslist for 3 years NEETlifeing 16 hours a day at the computer and all thats happened is some squeaking I could probably fix with wd40

>t. lanklet

>i'm not even fat

does this look at to you you piece of shit?

Attached: meh cat.jpg (473x375, 63K)

This bad boy is better than any fancy overpriced office chair money can buy. Three years now still going strong.

Attached: ol faithful.png (1021x1425, 1.8M)

Use 5-56, wd40 is trash.

Gimme a budget user. What is the absolutely max you're willing to pay? I would recommend having AT LEAST $100 to work with as there are some decent chairs in the $80-90 range.

I'd like to stay below 200. I've been on an Amazon Basics chair for 2 years and the padding is pretty much gone.

Just avoid chinkshit

Enjoy your chronic back pain.

This guyhas it right. Used steelcase chairs are aplenty. They are top quality and will last long

this unironically. i found a mesh office chair used by a chinese restaurant for smoke breaks in the back for nothing. And nothing I mean I stole it. Sitting on it now. Great for leaning back for faps. Come the fuck at me.

fucking christ

look for office furniture 2nd hand resellers.
A friend ofmine got a mint condition herman miller chair for super cheap. Then another friend heard about that, after a while he also found a reseller with one of those but it was more expensive than a brand new one compared against store average prices. So it depends on a bit of luck, some leg work and lots of patience.

this, I found a decent chair in the middle of the street when I was strolling in the city at night, felt like a hobo but it's better than a wooden chair

>every chair bred ever on the chins
>guaranteed assraping_chairofimpalement.jpeg

we're not any better than bots.

Does the back height matter to you? Arm rest style? Rocking or Reclining features? Leather or cloth?

I K E A
M A R K U S

basically the same. companies just throw good office chairs to dumpster.

I've been using a $40 chair that I bought when I first moved out here for this job
I easily have the spending money for a nice chair under $500, what should I be looking at

Office Depot. Bit less than $300 got me a great chair.

This thing is pretty overpriced IMO.

I found two expensive office chairs on the curb

Shave the beard, or don't shave your face and just leave a neckbeard behind.

It's terrible, you need to either go all the way or not just hide your neck with pube hairs.

I've been using a $70 mesh office chair from Costco for the past year and its been great.

Prior to it, I was having a slew of problems. Such as my right-leg falling asleep, butt pain from in adequate padding, and back pain. So I definitely sympathize with people who don't have a good seating arrangement.

>Went full meme and got the aeron.
>Spending 1K dollars on a chair without a head rest
>look online after to see what a headrest would cost.
>headrests for it are also expensive
the chair is great but wtf were they thinking not having a headrest.

Attached: b2c_3x4crop.jpg (907x680, 50K)

Not having headrest is fine for normal office chairs
So long you don't have to sit on it 7 hours a day

Yes, it does look fat, you fucking chunk.

Attached: SmugaMan.png (848x1706, 924K)

Spent $300 dollarydoos on this, and it was well worth it.

Attached: Deluxe Mesh Ergonomic Office Chair With Headrest.jpg (500x500, 21K)

My most important factor when buying a chair is how comfortably I can jack off in it.

No headrest makes it a poor fapping/napping chair though. And even if its not needed for an office chair it should have the option at 1K dollars.

Not really just looking for something comfy to sit on tbqh

yoga ball master race comin' thru

Are gaming chairs worth it or just a meme? They seem comfy af but I've never actually own anything that doesn't have at least 10 years of use on it and is partially broken.

not american and manlet btw

I got a used Herman Miller from my dad's work, it's pretty cozy.

PROTIP: If you have a job at a office setting, see if you can order furniture through your companies account.
Companies just really good prices on office furniture. Even costs half the retail price through my companies furniture source.

Attached: PO1.jpg (360x240, 34K)

what are those posts for?

Get a used Aeron from a office surplus shop on craigslist for ~$350

After using a regular wooden chair for 14 years I finally found caved.
I went to Madison seating and got a steelcase leap v2 for $350. The v1 also works at closer to $250

If you really wanted such a thing, you basically need a proper recliner.
Which also might mean investing in a setup to have mouse/keyboard on the recliner, maybe some kind of folder/desk.

I got Amazon brand chair it's not bad.

Wish it had hard arm rests though.

I don't know about the Markus but the Flintan has been doing me good. Need to pay a little extra if you want armrests though

Goodwill

>>go to furniture store
im gonna have to stop you there my dude

firm stabilization

My cousin got a DXracer, it was pretty sturdy and the material felt nice but I found it extremely uncomfortable to sit in, he likes it though. I'd recommend just getting a normal office chair.

>this

bought a dx king
well worth it, though i dont use it anymore because i was getting sores on my left thigh, i think it has to do with the material not breathing

youtube.com/watch?v=S9A7ACL_n5Y

>$66 to put a couple bolts together

Do people actually pay for these assemblies?

i bought that exact chair and it took me over 4 hours to assemble it. i rather have a expert do it yeah

I did put the arms on backwards and had to take them off but I still think you might be retarded.

It was pretty simple and took me like 40 minutes.

Lets see:
1. Feets are socket type
2. Hydraulic is either socket or preassembled
3. Plate on top of hydraulic only need to be attached to the screwholes at the bottom. Doable
4. Back and seat might be separate, which just means alignment during assembly is a pain

My $20 managers chair from Target lasted 5 years before it broke I can't raise the seat anymore

FUCK OFF YOU TOOL!

>buying a used chair
fucking disgusting

get an aeron from a business refurb company

>faux leather
never again, always starts peeling on me after a couple years and it flakes EVERYWHERE

I know it does.

You can't get real leather without spending several hundreds.

While the initial price can be shocking, they come with a 10 year warranty. which for the quality of chair they make and how comfortable they are, a Herman Miller Aeron has been one of my favorite buys in a long time.

Attached: Capture.png (430x427, 93K)

Literally two days ago I got a replacement chair from Goodwill for $8. Comfy and works fine. If it busts in a year then whatever. I'm not spending $500 on a fucking chair

The lack of headrest is fine as someone else has said. If you get an Aeron though, make sure to get the option that lets you lock the back in place. Or you're stuck reclining even when you don't want to.

a chair is like a mattress. get a fucking good one.

>chair does so
>slides down and falls backwards
>snatches and tears open your scrotum

The better IKEA chairs come with a 10 year warranty, too.

that hapened to me last year
during the summer while i was wearing shorts they stuck on my thighs and i used to carry the pieces around the house lol

couldnt find any good covers so i jyst put an old one from my car seat
promblemo solved

I've never had success with office chairs. They always end up giving me some kind of discomfort. Now I just use a straight up wooden chair from my kitchen table or game on the couch if i feel like being really comfy.

Attached: cushion-base-wooden-dining-chair-500x500.jpg (500x250, 11K)

Got mine at a walmart for $130. A normal executive chair with a leather back is all it takes.

have fun paying $500 for a chair

Most office chairs have armrests in wrong height
Or curvature meaning there is no lumbago support
Or tilting it backwards makes it uncomfortable.
Or the cushion is worn, meaning it compresses wrongly.

Wood chairs are static with little leeway. You end up forcing yourself to sit properly quite fast.

Same, this chair is barely 2 years old and it already looks like it was pulled out of a dump.

Attached: 20190525_150954.jpg (4032x1908, 2.37M)

I hate these chairs because I like to sit on one ass cheek and these chairs suck for that

I got this one, it's fairly comfy.

ARENT YOU A GAMER FAGGOT? JUST GET A GAM8NG CHAIR ALONG WITH YOUR GAMIN DESK YOU DIRTY PLEB

>$75 ikea chair
>using it for 5 years now, only swapping out cushioning after a couple of years

Best chair I've ever bought.

I bought this one I think it is pretty good I work from home and spend 10+ hours in it and it is holding up good only complaint I have is the back piece tends to slide down slowly over time for me.

I used to have a dxracer but it hurt my back over time. I've had another chair since that and my back is fine but it wore out but I learned what to value in a chair. This adjustable one is really good and gives me full support so I don't have any back or shoulder issues at all. I think it is fairly well built and will hold up through heavy use and be cheap to replace.

I let my roommate have the dxracer chair and I have to say it has a really heavy duty base. When he wears out the seat I'm taking it back and going to a junkyard to try to find a nice car seat to bolt onto the base and see what I can make of it.

this

Exactly why I like it. Don't wanna get posture or back issues sitting unnaturally.

>try chairs at furniture store
>write down the model number
>buy it on amazon for $120

wow so hard

>these are the people making fun of wageslaves
