Its really weird isnt it? I actually played through Okami for the first time on the Switch last summer, was an amazing experience, and I just bought RE4, hope it atleast runs well and is an otherwise good port besides the lack of gyro.

How the hell is a switch comfy in portable mode? The joycons are awful controllers. It's not comfortable at all.

Is there something I am missing? Every time I try to play this thing undocked it is an awful experience.

I don't feel any need to replay it like the Souls games but the first playthrough was some of the most fun I've had with a fromsoft game post Demon's Souls. And I like a lot of different types of games But I mostly play jap shit. Which is why I have a ps4/switch

also as for 12 or Vesperia I would really recommend Vesperia over 12. I found 12's cast to be so underwhelming and just extremely dull. With Vesperia there are plenty of fun interactions and proper character development.

Thinking about grabbing those voucher shits. Might pick up Fire Emblem and Astral Chain when they become eligible, but Mario Maker 2 looks pretty fun from someone who didn't play the first one.

Dead Cells has some of the best feeling movement of any platformer I've played, it's absolutely worth it compared to some of the other shit you own.

Excess of choice. You're an adult with far more disposable income but with a generally shorter attention span and time now compared to being a child with few/no choices but virtually unlimited attention span and time. You want to spoil yourself by getting all the vidya that you couldn't have as a kid, but in doing so, you're only amassing a backlog that grows larger and larger, which in turn overwhelms you with more choices to choose from. This culminates in you looking at your screen for a moment to decide on what to play, but instead just turning off your Switch and continue to shitpost on Yea Forums.

The only ways you'll break the cycle are by forcing yourself to to focus on at least 1 game at a time, or to share your games with friends and family to not make it feel like a waste.

It's fun until you realise it's a turn-based strategy game and you wanna throw your cat through the wall.

I kinda have this problem. I have The Mummy Demastered, Shovel Knight, and Hollow Knight to get to and I just started Octo Expansion and I want to get back to Lumines someday too. I also really want to buy a bunch of indie games eventually too.

Okay, watching DF video on AssCreed and I don't want this to be a console war crap, but why are they talking about the next gen versions looking better shadow-wise, and then we constantly see how bad shadows look on characters on next gen consoles, while the classic and Switch versions somehow make the models look better? Am I creazy in thinking the Switch version here looks better? I know the game isn't all cut scenes, it's just weird to see these scenes as examples.

The Shovel Knight "Treasure Trove" is on sale right now. It says that it comes packaged with King Knight's DLC, but I've heard conflicting reports that it's swelled so much that said King Knight DLC is going to be its own game. So would I receive King Knight's DLC if I bought this package or not?

Depends on your Switch model. As far as I can tell post mid-2018 models are nigh impossible to hack. nh-server.github.io/switch-guide/ Follow the guide here, it's pretty easy to do.

If you purchased this I'd guarantee you'll get the King Knight stuff even if it ends up being it's own game. It'd be pretty fucked if they didnt give it to you even though you paid for it. I can't see them shelling out refunds, so I think its a safe bet that you're in the clear.
