Usually, but the guy who does the XC2 characters is SAO level bad. He has terrible sameface, a babyface at that, no noses, and it looks like they're covered in gloss or something.

Yeah but Mythra's design is less bothersome to look at. I'm not gonna say Xenoblade 1 wasn't a fashion disaster but I do like the look of the art much better than Xenoblade 2's. Nothing compares to what an eyesore Rex is. I guess the clothes are a signature though since XB2 would look like any generic seasonal LN adaptation without them.
