Think about it, late 90's and early 2000's zoomers weren't in highschool/college when N64-Wii U came out and couldn't get jobs. But now in 2019, most of them are 18-22 and can easily get money from their studies, being NEETS or jobs in their spare time.

These comics always miss the point that the most important part of a game is it's gameplay, you could have a cutesy harmless looking platformer that looked like it was aimed at children and then fill with tough as nails rewarding as fuck tight gameplay, meanwhile you could have a game that looks deep and mature, but the gameplay is shallow or non-existent and it's just a deeply unrewarding experience, that's the thing with video games, they can be much more decieving than other mediums. Of course, those comics are just bait so it's obvious they would ignore such an easy to grasp point.

I bought a switch because it’s the best system for couch co op and local multiplayer shenanigans. It’s fun playing games with people in the same room. PC is what I like for shooters but playing in the same room feels wrong. PS4 is way more single player focused. XBone is PS4 but better online multiplayer. The switch is my go to for playing something with friends locally at least current gen.

That being said it’s nothing to the couch shenanigans of the N64, Saturn, Dreamcast, Xbox, and GameCube.
