I'm playing through Killer 7 at the moment and I'm surprised by how good it actually is. For some reason I keep having this thought that it is actually set after No More Heroes, but at least before or close to Travis Strikes Again, due to some of the elements in the game. For example, Iwazuki or whatever his name is talks like the robot/program dudes in TSA, and it explains the discrepancies between plotlines.

I was also thinking that perhaps Smith was controlling his personalities through the TV using something similar to a Death Drive, though maybe not the same thing. horny doesn't mean he'd ever get any, narratively he's supposed to be the loser virgin type in NMH1 and then NMH2 explores what happens when that loser finally gets the money and fame and the girl. I wouldn't take what Suda says in a 21 question interview or whatever as canon. I think he was just having fun but if it was canon I'd understand, I just think it undercuts 1 and 2 a bit to have travis not be a virgin, and I don't even like 2 that much.
