Do it!

Honestly why would you even uninstall it?

Luck and Charisma all the way.

This is the last game I played you could really talk your way through other that Deus Ex

All the wasted time/effort voicing the main player in FO4 could have been spent anywhere else

Played like 5 times and always did the start in exactly the same "default" order (Primm -> Nipton -> Boulder City -> NV). Heard there's ways to sequence break but I've never tried it

sneak past the deathclaws/cazadores north of goodsprings and get to Camp Mccarran, swipe an NCR uniform and take the monorail and youre set

Put 9 points into luck, make a beeline for the casinos, win until you get kicked out of each, use the caps to get some good gear, then just start doing factions in whatever order you want.

>charisma
>not just going for 10 luck plus min maxing everything for a critical build in order to blow everything to bloody gibs

i wish i could play like this but crit/guns/energy weapons just feel too good even with the clumsy ass combat

im pretty sure you can get an stealth boy somewhere in the starting zone and use it to sneak past the deadclaws, i never bother with that tho, if i sequence break i would not be able to kill all those legion LARPing savages on my way to NV

There is a stealth boy in the safe in the school. But desu you don't need it to get past the death claws if you have high stealth + cheese them with terrain.

They fuck off and stop chasing you after a bit.

I've still never finished it despite having about 150 hours across all of my characters.

make sure you ally all the factions you want assisting you in the dam fight
i rushed to the dam fight with only the boomers fighting alongside me and it was really rough. took me quite a few tries to succeed
didnt help that i went independent

are you me nigga? i literally made like 20 + characters with all possible builds and finished all DLCs with them but never could bring myself to finish the game with any of them, i just did all the content and then started over, saw all the endings on the wiki later to still have an idea of how it all ended, but for some reason i just couldn't bring myself to do it

To be fair, lategame in all routes feels boring, like you're some glorified errand boy heading to the so-and-so quest marker.

cringe

Can I play this game without playing 3 first?
I absolutely adored Fallout 1 and 2 but I've seen pretty much nothing of the other games minus playing a couple hours of 4 VR at a friend's house and not liking it. I hear NV mentioned all the time here and I'm thinking I wanna give it a shot.

yeah, you can. 3 is literally unplayable in newer versions of windows without the tale of two wastelands mod if that makes you feel any better
both 3 and nv are solid but each has a uniqueness to it that the other does not possess

Comfy image. And Novac has the comfiest home in the game

Absolutely. NV was actually made by some of the people who made 1 and 2, and it feels much more like a sequel to those games than 3. Most of the events of 3 are totally irrelevant to NV since they happen across the country

I need more

Okay rad, I'll download it tonight then. My hesitance with 3 mostly stems from really not liking any other Bethesda games I've played, but hearing that NV has more in common with the originals is reassuring.
Anything I should know going in? (Essential mods/noob traps/etc)

I just wish the radio worked and that it was a bit cleaner, don't know why there had to be bloodstains all over the floor.

yikes

Do it

I would as well but I can't get the game to run properly on Win10

Remember to thank Daddy Kaiser for being the only faction leader to consistently pay you for your services

I just wish there was a true Legion companion

if you have played the shit out of it the best thing to do is to actually decide how your character will be before you start a new game. Roleplay a build you wouldnt usually play, the whole game feels different.

based

boring

Fuck you, fallout 4 is an abomination. I bet you have 169,090 hours playing Fallout 76 too.

>people who uninstall games they enjoy and may want to play again

Is TTW any good?
inb4 >fallout 3
Haven't played it in years

rolling
this isnt spam

you can get more from the NCR quatermaster at hoover damn, of course you have to pay still, but that shouldn't be a problem unless you are poor

What kind of phat loot do you get for siding with House? I don't recall any ammo caches or whatever

Everything Caesar gives you, and it ends up being quite a lot, is free, respawns every 3 days and doesn't require a speech check or fucking around the corridors of Hoover Dam
