no baby, you can actually buy confetti in a lot of places, also when you get the malcontent you can easily beat them, also! When you have confetti active and they appear behind you, just run behind them and then hit them twice and then run behind again, their AI is shit.

Just use Ako's spiritfall to drain his health & posture quickly.

The "mobs" are the salesman in the game, you should be able to at this point buy confetti for 300-400 sen at this point
