Anyone play this? How was it?

Anyone play this? How was it?

Trailer was cut really well, and honestly don't know what to expect from it.

it's fun at first but the endings are all fucking shit that waste your time. fucking mass effect 3 tier. don't bother.

amazing. fantastic writing and voice acting overall. don't listen to this brainlet the new third ending in particular is haunting

the endings are fucking shit dumbass

Great game.
Don't listen to , ME3 had shitty rushed and bad endings, Enderal has fucking cruel and haunting shit.

It's definitely got Gothic vibes in terms of questing, exploration and dungeons since it's made by Muhammeds in their native land of Germany

Story is a cut above AAA games despite being made by said Muhammeds

Played for 109 hours

Are the RPGs mechanics fun?
I don't mind the simplicity of skyrim's combat if there are interesting builds or gameplay loops.

Fuck you, they are good.

>"none of your fucking decisions matter"
>or
>"it's all a dream bitch lmao"
wow so fucking deep so fucking haunting fuck off these shit endings are mass effect 3 tier

t. mutt babby who only accepts happy endings because he was coddled all his life

They are.
There is a system of sinergies where depending on which branches you combine you get different classes with buffs and abilities. Also talents are now useful.

I bet you also shit on Planescape Torment since it doesn't have a happy ending where The Nameless One retires on a farm looking at the sunset with a wife and kids.

exactly the same retard faux intellectual defense of mass effect 3 garbage

>"it's all a dream bitch lmao"
What a retard.
>>"none of your fucking decisions matter"
Wrong.

Also that was the point. If you can't stand lack of happy end, suffer, bitch.

yeah retard play for fucking hours for the game to shit on you at the end cause the writers are nihilistic cucks

No, ME3 was simply bad.

Great, please go play bing bing wahoos and Hello Kitty games since you need a happy ending all the time when you save the princess

>I can't stand lack of happy end, mom, tell them! I can't! Anything but wife and kids bad, mom, tell them!

>it's fun at first but the endings are all fucking shit that waste your time. fucking mass effect 3 tier.
I bet you're one of those people who thinks videogame endings are supposed to be a "reward" that makes you feel validated.

omfg what a tweest subverted expectations

>voice acting
>good
It was literally the only game I've ever went out of my way to mute npc voices because of how awful it was.
Aside from that it was a fantastic fantasy adventure.

I thought the voice acting was very solid.

For someone who must have positivity in their entertainment you're really drawn to being negative. Why not just play your bing bing wahoos and have fun instead of basking in negativity which is why you hate Enderal?

>SUBVERTED EXPECTATIONS I'M A GENIUS

Attached: rian-johnson.jpg (1536x864, 185K)

>what a tweest subverted expectations
But it didn't subvert expectations. If you think so, then you are dumb.

see

compared to the vast majority of Skyrim mods, the voice acting here is phenomenal, with standout performances from Jespar and Tealor imo. what did you not like user

>Subverted
No. You are an illiterate idiot, so to you it was "subverted expectations".
English VO had two or three good voices. German VO was way better.

What are you talking about? What subverted expectations? It's pretty clear from the start of Enderal that something is wrong, and eventually the other shoe is going to drop. It's a bleak game with bleak endings. It's kinda like Far Cry 5 in that regard. From the very start anyone with a brain knows something is very, very wrong. The payoff is discovering just how wrong the situation really is, and your role in it.

you don't have a fucking role in it in the end you don't do shit

You do EXACTLY what you vere created for, dingus.

>games where everyone is evil and disgusting

Attached: murderface.jpg (253x359, 21K)

>He thinks Far Cry 5 had a good ending

He didn't say that.

Why you acting so negative when you want sunshines and lollipops and rainbows in your games? Go do something that makes you happy if you want cheerfulness in your life instead of doing the complete opposite

>Start game
>Get locked into an interactive cutscene
>Then get a CGI cutscene
>Finally get a short dialogue that let's you customize your character
>Then get a quck combat tutorial
>Then a cutscene
>Then another fucking one
>After all that shit go into the tutorial dungeon
>And immediately get into another fucking cutscene
>Finally after that stupid fucking dungeon the game starts proper. Right?
>Wrong. Get locked into a long ass unskippable dialogue witht the apothecaries
>then watch another fucking cutscene of them getting rekt
>Then get another long ass dialogue
>FInally the game starts proper
Great game no

i admitted the fucking game was fun it was fine before the me3 endings gotdamn. i was answering op's question.

Everything that happens, happens because you were created specifically to be the Prophet. However, you are capable of at least partially breaking free of your role and possibly saving the world in the next cycle. It's too late to stop the current cycle, but the next one? Perhaps.

>rpg
>dialogue bad
Go back to skyrim kiddo, fight flying lizards and shit.

Far Cry 5 has one of the greatest endings in videogame history. The absolute STONES on Ubisoft to go through with the Book of Revelation parallel.

If negativity is bad enough to ruin what is in your words a "fun game", why are you constantly engaged in negativity, vitriol and anger instead of playing light hearted happy games or doing another activity that makes you happy? Don't you see this feedback loop is just making you more negative and angry which is apparently what you don't want as you say the entire game is terrible because of a unhappy ending, surely you don't want this in your life?

Reminder that while there are some awkward retcons involved, ME3's endings are mostly fine. People just got assmad because they were cosmic "Which shit sandwich do you want to eat" endings instead of feel-good "YOU WIN!" endings. Gamers are like children.

why not have the player go through the cycle where they can actually do shit then. i fucking liked the game or mod or whatever the hell my ONE problem was the endings before bitches pounced on me for answering op.

>"Dude, this game's intro is fucking bad. It's long and boring, and it could be shortened without the loss of lore and story."
>'HURR GO BACK 2 SKYRIM KIDDO"

well yeah, that was one of the main themes of the game. You can't have everything so you have to make a difficult decision that involves either sacrificing yourself in hopes of a better future or absconding with your loved one and experiencing a fate similar to the Aged Man. Expecting anything different when the odds were clearly stacked against you from the beginning is unrealistic and foolish, not to mention something like that would ruin the narrative's tone.

You also have to consider where SureAI goes from with their future games. Leaving this open ended allows the idea of the High Ones and the Cycle to be explored and possibly resolved within future games (here's hoping they open their own studio instead of limiting themselves to Bethesda's scraps).

i'll play the next one if i'm sure i won't get burned again

The mod sucks cut it out with these shill threads user
thread/

>why not have the player go through the cycle where they can actually do shit then.
That's like asking why Roland doesn't accomplish all that much in The Dark Tower novels. He reaches the end of the cycle, and manages to make a SINGLE change. He has the horn at the beginning of the loop. There's a slim chance that he'll be able to get it right this time. These kind of narratives are built around not knowing whether you'll ever succeed. It's about trying to do the right thing in that uncertainty.

those are books tho this is a game. rpg. i expect it not to waste my time.

i mean there's no guarantee but i don't know what else they'd do since now we the players know about the Cycle and what that entails for humanity. Repeating the same "hopeless and doomed spiral" plot is not something I'd imagine they would do over and over again since that would be predictable and boring.

I feel like SureAI wanted to focus on telling a story with Enderal more than allowing unlimited choice. Often with RPGs i've noticed that sometimes narrative quality can come at the cost of flexibility/choice and vice versa. A story you can make end the way you want is not as memorable or engrossing as one that has a clearly defined message that resonates with every plot point.

In other words, you think that games are supposed to "reward" you for playing them.

i think rpgs should give you choices that matter not forcefully subject you to railroad metaplot
