Still way overkill. I'm wearing a pair of no-name cans that I got on Amazon. 40 bucks Canadian, no tax, free same-day shipping. Comfortable enough to wear for hours on end (more comfortable than the Cloud II they replaced), and they have a removable cable.

I was sad when the last one I had broke. When I saw them on final clearance on Newegg I bought 3. Those things sounded great, were comfortable, and didn't hog a USB port.
