GNB is PLD with a bit of WAR/DRK without the Holy Spirit window after. You have a 20s damage burst window where you save your Cartidges and CDs that give you Cartidges, and you have one basic combo that gives you ammo and an ammo-spender combo that you weave in an oGCD between every GCD (the ammo spender combo hits hard as fuck, one of the abilities is 650 potency). You have a gauge dumper that works like Fell Cleave/Bloodspiller but doesn't hit as hard, and a few damage oGCDs. Second hit gives you a shield that you can share with your Intervention-like ability (btw it also gives 15% damage reduction for 7s on a 25s CD and is free to use).

GNB looks fun as fuck.

These two statements contradict each other. If they wanted you to respect content they would make it so tanks had to slow down to manage enmity, not let you do it for free and go ham with the dps. I play all the tank jobs, I know exactly how the tanks play and most of the complexity was absolutely not in "stance dancing" if you can even call it that.

Literally all you had to do was make sure you had threat in the opener and from there on go full dps-mode, while still doing your tanking stuff like optimal positioning and good usage of mitigation based on your knowledge of the fight to make your healers get wet at the fact that your healthbar is barely moving.

It's not hard or complex to press one button and have it be turned off. Especially if you have an OT that can shirk you to make absolutely certain you're going to be fine threat-wise even if DPS shitters do not manage their threat.

Dragoon is a title given to anyone who has killed a dragon, and that's the pool of people they select candidates for the Knights Dragoon from. The job class, the people that learn the jumps, are Knights Dragoon. It's the highest order a knight can belong to so random people aren't just casually becoming proper Dragoons.

There's a few threads on reddit piecing together GNB's kit based on what we saw from tooltips. It has a couple 1-2-3 combos but a shitton of oGCD combos. Expect a good GNB to effectively have their GCD cut in half since they'll be doing some sort of oGCD action between every actual GCD.

And that doesn't mean they're Dragoons. You COULD be partied with a Dragoon, but that does not mean every lancer you encounter in your party is canonically a Dragoon. You don't even need to be a Dragoon to learn the jump, they're just the ones who invented it and have a discipline focused around it.

Well, it's also that face 4 is the ugliest Au Ra face, and that NPC is the only one in the entire game with the right customizaiton options to make it look good, compared to every other face variant which have at least a couple decent looking combinations.

A big majority of their customer-base are people with day jobs. The game since ARR has always been designed around them. The only problem is that as more and more of them have come to the game, the more entitled they've been becoming over the years in terms of "PLEASE RESPECT OUR PRECIOUS TIME REEEEE", and it's mostly from players in the West. JP players have day-jobs and participate in hardcore raiding just fine and dandy

Canonically only a few instances actually have other "adventurers" with you in them. Most of those are stuff like the Steps of Faith where they're directly stated to basically be subordinates of yours. Most of the WoL's biggest accomplishments are canonically solo like Shinryu and Thordan where you'd have to have literally pulled four other people out of your ass.
