The next Call of Duty has had a ton of major details leaked and it honestly sounds Kino as fuck. I know Yea Forums doesn't like Call of Duty at all but this could seriously appeal to some people here.
>The title will be Call of Duty: Modern Warfare
>Will be a soft reboot A La God of War
>Will be the first Call of Duty title since COD 4 to have a different Engine, will feel different
>Has a strong focus on being more realistic and grounded
>Takes place in modern times
>Is not a direct continuation of any other Call of Duty's story, but will have aspects of earlier Modern Warfare stories included
>Focuses on global counter terrorism
>The Campaign is going to be extremely dark, and similar throughout to the mission "No Russian" from Modern Warfare 2, in which you play as a disguised US Spy infiltrating a terrorist cell, gunning down hundreds of civilians at an airport
>The game does NOT have a Zombies mode, will instead have some kind of special third special ops or survival more (NOT a Battle Royale)
>The season pass is entirely different from any previous Call of Duty game
>The gameplay will return to a simplicity featured in earlier Call of Duty titles (No more 150 health, manual healing, etc.)
>Certain maps will take place at night, and will be extremely dark, requiring night vision to navigate. The gameplay will heavily emphasize the presence of this mechanic.
>The cover will feature one soldier with night vision goggles, similar to previous titles
What does Yea Forums think? It honestly sounds kino as fuck
Everything known about the next Call of Duty Title
sounds good but knowing activision they'll add microtransactions and loot boxes like the jews that they are
>Night Map appears in poll
>Everyone instantly votes on random
>Main Character will be black woman
dropped
>>Will be the first Call of Duty title since COD 4 to have a different Engine, will feel different
Ho shit, I was right about them never shifting off the IW Engine.
Goddamn that thing has been dragged along and augmented for so long. Explains why Advanced Warfare runs so well on PS3 and 360 and CoD BO3 on the same platform being a fucking cop-out.
why does the cover art look so bad, the guys aiming his gun like an asshole
>>The gameplay will return to a simplicity featured in earlier Call of Duty titles (No more 150 health, manual healing, etc.)
Worth noting that Infinite Warfare's Specialist Difficulty had manual healing, limb damage affecting accuracy and mobility, and stuff like that. WWII bought ditched regenerating health entirely in its campaign.
ME LIKE CALL O DOODY
I think you're underselling the black magic involved in porting Advanced Warfare to the PS3/360. Those versions run at 60fps, which is fucking AMAZING considering how ambitious Advanced Warfare was. The campaign team clearly didn't give a shit about last gen hardware. They were pushing current gen systems as hard as they could. The port team worked pure magic translating the game faithfully.
easily the worst shill post ive seen in my 10+ years of coming here, and thats saying a lot
Remaking a game takes miracles. Unless you have the Capcom magic.
If there a hint of micro transaction, day 1 dlc, or season pass into the trash it goes. OG MW dont have none of that.
It should be called post-modern warfare
You say that as thought Capcom weren't greedy MT-loving assholes who sell people basically the same game over and over at insane prices.
spec ops was the best
Why wouldn't they? Zoomers eat that shit up so it makes sense, gotta maximize profits
I wonder where Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered fits into this. Will the MW reboot feature the same characters in a different storyline? Will MW2 Campaign Remastered be changed to be closer to the reboot?
if theres couch co-op of any kind im there day one. me and my bro still play MW3
sounds fake as fuck and like someone's wishlist
>>Focuses on global counter terrorism
Can't wait for the missions to hunt down Blurmpf's right wing death squad spies and restore liberal order for the Kween
Sauce? Release date?
The reveal trailer is coming May 30, BTW.
