Gokus kamehamehas at the time of the Saiyan Saga are for SURE stronger than a power bomb. And Nappa and especially Vegeta survive multiple of those. Not to mention their great ape forms

Again, Powerbombs are super fucking hot. Kamehameha and most ki attacks give off no heat.

it still desintegrates what it touches, plus piccolo in the saiyan saga (waaaay weaker than nappa, let alone vegeta) blew up the moon almost instantly with one beam, vegeta does that to planets all the time

I can't recall the Genki-dama disintegrating anyone on contact, they usually had to be fully enveloped by it. We can presume the core of a Genki-Dama is a blender of swirling Ki from what we've seen.

If the Genki-Dama was hot, Vegeta's blood would have literally boiled, but it wasn't, so he survived. Goku's heart got pierced by a fucking laser gun. Lasers are HOT, but probably not as hot as a Power Bomb.

They literally never hit the earth head on though. They stopped doing that all the way back in the cell saga when even the weakest of attacks would destroy the planet
