I'm actually playing Cave Story for the first time right now and it's making me mad with its schizo difficulty. I just couldn't deal with it after I got to that last area that reset all my weapons to lv 1. Absolute pain, not worth it right now. Not sure why this game had the impact that it did other than it being all the work of one guy
Oh and I left Curly in the damn cabin. Great decision the game had to not forewarn me about the fact that I can't go back to the waterway.
