Any character you design for this game has to be based around taking on large groups of enemies at once.

Why do you care about disarming? Your character navigates around all spotted traps, you have to specifically command him to step on one, and you can only do that in turn-based.

Sounds like you hit the junkyard, the ultimate casual filter. I fucking loath it even after 250 hours in the game, i'd tell you it gets better but prepare for more dice rolls and bullshit cheese.

That nerf was so long ago. Yeah mutant hp was cut and they lost what little mechanical resistance they had, but since then enemy detection was fixed and dogs are knocking you out of stealth. AI was improved all around unless he is on easy, and economy was made much harsher.

Unless you’re an stat autists who is ok with constant reloading and progressing at a snail’s pace, I wouldn’t bother. It’s only for the most dedicated of rpg players. I personally think it’s shit but a lot on here love it.

you can go back to buy acid resistant armor. the game gives you tools to beat it.

Whacks too many timers. Restocks, respawns, quest timers, etc. Most people who complain about constant respawns probably play with speedhack.

Dont be a weakling and be able to take some damage. Have lots of hipos. Take shelter on cramped space and use grenades/molotovs

You got a point about random mines, however you can always use grenades or pyrokinesis to trigger the mines.

Why not. There aren't any turrets there that can't be picked off from cover. Even a melee can hide behind the corridor and EMP it next turn. Electric knife/hammer does the rest.
Would be good if hacking consistently allowed turning them on enemies though. Half of the time you can do that, but the other half you can only turn them off.

Okay now speaking in General, being a low armor/low hp can at times be a very bad idea, as there are times you cannot possible avoid taking fuckloads amounts of damage.
I cannot say much since I never ran a stealth character and I'm a heavy armor psi-sledge, but at times I was drastically reduced to critical HP and I fail to see how a frail stealth character could possible survive in these same circumstances.
