a lot of different knights, orders and other such factions opened their visor in combat. Fighting is intense and you get overheated. The visor also restricts your vision a lot, and being able to see your enemy's footwork can be very valuable. The visor is primarily for stopping projectiles from hitting you in the face, since the face isn't that hard to protect in a fight. The sides and top of your head are easier targets, hence rest of of the helmet.

There's a different sound for each slash direction and stab direction.

See the meta weapons people are using? Use them until you are good at the game. Also try playing in 3rd person and assign a key to horizontal swing so you are always doing that kind of attack regardless of your camera orientation. Only block when an attack is about to hit you, dont just press it as soon as the enemy moves, there is alot of windup on weapons and lots of time to parry, just dont panic parry.

I always find bastard swords in the ground on grad, and assumed they were part of the map, and occasionally pick them up when I'm playing a scavenger or archer. But I picked one up today that had different cosmetics.
Do bastard swords just have some sort of property that has them get stuck in the ground there?

A professional chiv player went 3/3/3 bloodlust and picked up weaponry for one game of frontline and went 140/6. What the fuck does that tell you?

Like in horde, the weapons you pick up that are available to the player all have random cosmetics, but that may have been a player weapon still.

I know that people drop weapons, but they despawn very quickly, and fall straight to the ground. But these bastard swords in specific are spiked into the ground, standing straight up.

Sneaking through the dungeon on Grad has made me realize that more indoors areas in maps would go a long way towards fixing a lot of the games meta issues, it takes horses, zwei/exec swing spam, archers and mobbing out of the equation and the only thing it really makes worse is firebombs.

Pick a more basic bitch color scheme like red and black or blue and white

Needs an objective mode like Battlefields rush mode where one side is definitively attacker and the other is a defender, with each taken objective you move back across the map, from the walls, the courtyard to the castle interior. I would love that.

I tried to play with team colors off and markers on, but the marker color sucks and the markers themselves are way too hard to keep track of in a frontline clash.

If they were closer to the character model and the color reflected the team, I think I'd definitely prefer it over team colors.

I play no team colors with markers but all it showed me was that 90% of faggots just wear black on everything

ive been playing like it for ages now to the point where I think there is something wrong with the persons game when I see webms of it, it looks horrible with team colors, Ill take the odd accidental miss identification. How else could they identify targets without doing gaudy glowing auras?
