Recent owner of a 2DS XL and I'm glad I did. After hacking it I realized just how many good ass games are on here that I've never played, or the best versions of certain games (Shovel Knight). On top of that being able to load NDS & GBA ROMs, it doesn't need emulation because it has most wortwhile portable platforms in one. I have a Vita too for some emulation and those games. Getting a 2DS has dropped my recent steam playtime to 0 hours. Oh and getting an extendable stylus has been a godsend because the stylus that comes with this sucks ass
