Are you ready to play exclusive games with half a second input lag and pixelated frames?

and here I tought valve had monopoly in retarded doa ideas

Did everyone else forget this thing is happening?

Honestly I would be very surprised if any of the exclusives were up Yea Forums's alley

If it costs more than Netflix and doesn't have a giant library at launch its DOA.

>you've been asking for
literally who

Pretty much. The novelty of it wore off because they didn't bother following the announcement up with anything, everyone's over it. E3 is going to see proper reveals for the new xbox hardware, and sony said they're talking about the ps5 some more this summer so stadia is going to have 0 eyes on it. I don't know why they held back so long, we've seen the system, we know the premise, we've seen the CONTROLLER even, but they didn't want to say "btw we got game X", fucking idiots.

retarded name, doa

o kurwa

yeah lol, can't wait for this shit to flop to at least get another good chuckle out of it.

PORN WHEN

Are you ready to stream my game user

>pixelated frames
what did he mean?

I can't wait to not own my games!

artifacting happens when you're streaming a video, even if you got the best internet, video image quality will never be as good as when you're natively playing the game

"Stad" means "city" in Swedish. They named it "Stadia" because you can't use it outside cities.

This. INB4 macro blocking out the ass. 1080p Blu-Rays are like 50mbps, and even they have some compression.

Lag free streaming of uncompressed 4k HDR content is ages away. Even at 1080p its still a complete meme. Try streaming Xbox to PC on your home network, its a complete mess.

>Cloud gaming

This idea actually scares me and this is the only time I've ever thanked the gods for America having bad infrastructure.

Game developer here. What is wrong with cloud gaming.
PS4 does it
PC does it
And I think Microsoft does it as well.

Owner of the server decides which games get to keep existing.

Stad means city in dutch. Swedish cucks can't use that word. Go make something like drinking milk racist you filthy swedish cuck.

Based Phil will destroy it with basedCloud. I love you Phil!

Not even a piratefag, but I’m all for letting games get cracked so they can be archived, given how shit the industry is at preserving them. Just look at Telltale games right now getting pulled from online storefronts.
Cloud gaming means none of that. A game’s gone, it’s gone. Best you’ll get are YouTube playthroughs.

You no longer own your games and if the developer dies like whatever happened to Telltale games they'll just cease to exist.

Dutch is just cock-garbling German, whereas Swedish is a German with a brown cock up the ass

>hey look i found some old games i used to play
>oh wait i can't play them anymore because the servers are gone

sounds like you got a cock in your brain.

Massive imput lag is the future!!

Reminder that these guys thought it could become the standard console for esports tournaments. Including fighting games, fighting games with extra lag

There plan was to take a few units to a tournament, then have everyone play on them off the wifi

Sometimes I wonder if Google is a government agency designed as a corporation.
It would explain their tremendous incompetence yet pervasive reach across industries and the internet.
Type out "google.gov" and see how easily it flows and how much things start to make more sense.

i used nvidia geforce now with a 100/20, 20 ping, on 2.4 wifi, playing tf2 online, and I don't think nvidia got servers in Italy, still the input lag was unnoticeable, some frames were pixelated, but it was a great experience anyway

i did
though i cant wait for it to be another ouya with its awful input lag and crashed servers
