Why is Scout the only class I'm good at? I suck at every other class I pick, even Soldier. Yet with Scout I can dominate three people and be the #1 MVP of the match

Learn to aim projectiles. Learn to blastjump.

I know how to do that shit, though I still only go soldier when I'm taking down a sentry nest that is bothering me

>can only win with double-jump, extra speed and a gun that kills every class in 1 second

Yikes

Do it more untill you get better.

Could be worse.
I regularly top-score as pyro

>tfw that Massachusetts fucker gets into close range

good aim no brain

If you remove double jump you basically described soldier and demo aswell.

>and a gun that kills every class in 1 second
>t. never played scout

>can't aim for shit
>can't dodge either
>get stuck at the bottom of the scoreboard
>switch to medic
>end the round as an MVP with several dominations
Wunderbar!

git gud

That's sniper, scout requires much more

I did git gut, it's just that I did it with Scout

>see scout coming as demo
>plant obvious stickies and round a corner
>nobody in this game knows how to disengage and HAS to fight to the death once an enemy is spotted unless they're losing so he comes anyways
>runs right into 6 stickies without a second thought and dies
>taunt and he calls me a sticky spammer in chat
Couldn't you see the bloody bombs

git gud with other classes, play a class when playing scout isn't the best choice teamwork wise

This, atleast Scout is actually good in 6v6. Sniper, Heavy, Spy and Pyro mains are stuck in pubs and Highlander forever.

>play a class when playing scout isn't the best choice teamwork wise
Well, I usually only play KOTH and I do airbomb the control point as Soldier or Demo if my team is getting fucked sideways

If you play other classes enough you will appreciate playing as them, especially when you're bored of playing scout. That's been my experience.

Scattergun is easily the best primary weapon in the game.

Anyone else prefer the guillotine to the pistol? I love catching people off guard and blasting them with a couple scattergun shots.

Not really, The Iron Bomber is. The Scattergun requires like 4 shots to kill a Demo while The Iron Bomber requires merely two.

>Play medic
>Land crossbow shots from across the map when a guy gets juggled from rockets
>Outsmart soldiers by pretending to run away then getting them to blow themselves up
>Uber to get on point, switch weapons so we can cap, demoman tries to kill us thinking uber is over but I just switch back to my medi gun with enough uber to kill him
>Blast surfing towards the enemy and killing them with my melee
>Getting scouts to think twice when I land all my shots on them with the crossbow when they run towards me
I love playing medic.

Lol no. You actually have to get close. Pipes and rockets can do more damage at longer ranges.

Daily reminder Soldier literally takes no skill. Rocketjumping is the only thing about him that requires any kind of skill and 90% of soldier mains cannot even complete jump_academy

>The Scattergun requires like 4 shots to kill a Demo

Why are you posting in a thread about a game you dont play?

On paper yes you are right. In practice it takes that many cause of how shitty the source engine is half the time.

Australium Guillotine when?

>>Getting scouts to think twice when I land all my shots on them with the crossbow when they run towards me
Nigger what kind of gibus cunts you playing against?

I'm only "good" at playing heavy, I wish I could be like you scouts, but I only play when drunk now, so I suck at him now

>Soldier in anything but the lowest possible tier
>Sniper is useful
?

rocket jumping doesn't take skill though

t. spy main

.

Only if the demo is looking at you and moving unpredictably against you.
If you catch a demo off-guard you can easily two shot him, same for every class in the game except heavy who is still easy to kill. Scout is a noob killer

Nope, Scout main

Why doesn't valve have the projectile and hitscan hitboxes be the same?
Not only would the salt of soldier mains be great, it would also legitimately improve the game

>What is bullet spread
>What is damage falloff

>tfw spent years dedicating to ambassador spy
FUCK YOU VALVE

one of the best changes ever in tf2, I see so many spies run away and hide like he's supposed to instead of trying to be badasses with gimmick sniper rifle, plus stock was always better.
