Was he harder than orphan and midir? discuss
Gavin Gomez
Parker Sanders
He wasnt even the hardest boss in his own game so no
Nathaniel White
As hard as any Souls boss
Grayson Sanders
?? who was harder than him
Jaxon Nguyen
Owl 2
the Shura ending bosses
Joseph Gutierrez
He's hard until you realize that all you have to do is hold block in his second phase and he will literally kill himself on you.
Benjamin Collins
no, just because of how much easier it is to understand how to fight a boss in sekiro than in souls games. SS might be an extreme test of reaction times but that's still all it is. you just gotta react correctly to every perilous attack and be good at deflecting. you can just stand right in front of the boss the whole time fighting. the super hard bosses in souls games are shitshows of rolling around desperately looking for a space without hitboxes to get a swipe it. it feels much jankier and inconsistent
Charles Johnson
>shura ending bosses
I beat old man isshin in under 5 tries. haven't even gotten to sword saints final phase yet and its almost 10 tries already. could be that its ng+ and first time fighting him, but this nigga is od hard
Nicholas Diaz
Honestly Orphan is not that bad, you can use the same "dash past them and wack their backside" strategy of a lot of BB enemies/bosses. He has some AOE shit but it's fairly choreographed.
Midir basically forces you to relearn the game just for his fight though.
Benjamin Jackson
>midir is hard
pleb
Jack Perry
no
Evan Watson
If you can beat a level 30 player in Mordhau, you can beat any boss in Sekiro.
Brandon Hill
If the Armor warrior had gotten to the mortal blade with the gate function he would have brought Robert back. We know Robert is dead because the firecrackers from the merchant that loots the dead had them.
Jordan Long
>midir
bet you think O&S are hard too fag
Jackson Lewis
How did the merchant loot the firecrackers from Robert's corpse though? Shouldn't it still be inside the temple? Not to mention it's sold by 2 seperate merchants.
Jason Sanders
>Owl 2
Beat him 3rd try on NG++
Carson Gutierrez
you fight him twice?? is it a completely different fight?
Levi Sullivan
Anyone that thinks most bosses in sekiro were harder than most of soulsborne is a summonfag
Josiah Rivera
I used to hate that Genichiro keeps showing up time and time again, but now I actually appreciate it since that means I get to beat his stupid fuccboi ass again.
Jaxson Reyes
sekiro is objectively harder than all the previous souls games
Jackson Carter
i am with you here. genichiro is easy to beat but i just wanna fight the sword saint so i try to tank thru genichiro and end up dying.
Nathaniel Cooper
Both of those are easier than sword saint. Owl 2 is barely harder than owl1. Demon of hatred and sword saint are objectively the hardest bosses in the game. Also
>midir
>hard
Kevin Martin
Owl Daddy has way less openings than Owl 1 in my opinion
Isaiah Smith
Robert and Armor Dad sold firecrackers to the memorial mobs to fund their way to Senpou
Jordan White
>owl 2 harder than saint ishin
nig
Chase Davis
Yes by far, are you kidding. For Midir you just have to start running when he starts up fire breath, otherwise just stay under him and hit him in the head.
Orphan can be staggered if you just spam heavy attacks, he's only hard if you use mostly R1. You can literally stunlock him.
For Isshin, you actually just have to get good.
Caleb Ross
Literally false, not possible.
Landon King
Why so many people think Orphan is hard? Just hit him with R2 for easy stagger
Levi Carter
>Midir
Yeah, he's easy as shit
>Orphan
No
Luke Evans
harder tha orphan yes , harder than midir no
Cameron Brown
orphans second phase is him just having a grand mal while you try to get in a few hits. I still to this day have no idea how i beat him when I do runs.
Thomas Rivera
Orphan is a way more forgiving fight than Midir.
Aiden Williams
each phase took about 3 tries
demon of hatred took a while until i stopped playing the game like sekiro and started playing it like your typical shitty dark souls oversized hitbox + no lock on
guardian ape thing didn't catch me off guard with the resurrection, since the body didn't vanish and kept collision, which tipped me off, and i killed it first try somehow and learned nothing from the fight
true owl fight at the estate took me a whole day to finish off though, was about the only boss in the game i had to learn all the moves for, including the fucking irrelevant jump-pounce counter thing, as well as restricting myself from using thrusts and other moves
>friend of mine kills him second try by spamming that jump ichimonji thing anyway
Carson Hernandez
orphan second try ng+2 no parry
midir literally first try
isshin... he raped me 30 times or more, but beat him first try without kuro charm and demon bell
Ian Morgan
Demon of Hatred is hard for all the wrong reasons, though. I guess it‘s fine having at least one boss like that, though. He‘s even optional.
Chase Moore
>Midir
>hard
Seriously?
Isaac Reyes
I found him easier than Shura Isshin and DoH. Mikiri is just too powerful in this game.
Jordan Harris
Orphan is still the hardest boss in the "series" to me, but SS Isshin is the most fun. Every time he beat me I was excited to go back in and try again with what I learned, and when I beat him I felt enlightened. When I beat Orphan my only thought was "thank christ that's over."
Aaron Jackson
Oh, fuck. Sauce?
Joshua Cruz
For me he's hard because I keep panicking whenever I'm close to killing him and I use the wrong counter moves as my nerve gets the better of me, him setting the whole arena doesn't help either. Other than that DoH's pretty alright, you don't even need good reaction time to beat him.
Caleb Myers
No it was the first time fighting him
John Reed
You shouldn't talk about bosses you haven't reached yet.
Colton Hernandez
who needs counter moves when you can spam malcontent and graffiti his last phase to death?
Hudson Rodriguez
Orphan has some really weird recovery cancels, honestly I've never had any trouble with Midir
Evan Walker
If you think Midir is hard, you're literally a braindead subhuman.
Nicholas Ward
Died so many times...
Actually uninstalled and reinstalled the game because now salty I got lol
This. Spear phase became easier than the first phase even once I just block and dodged mikired and punished his 4-5 attacks. Get a hit in when you start to time the jump dodge, get militia when he does that obvious lead up, punish him when he slams his spear then closes the distance as you dodge to the left. Final phase became similar except I chose to run away from his lightning shit I never got the timing to clapback for.
Landon Williams
Orphan is still the hardest FROM boss and that won't change because he had random attacks. He's literally unpredictable even for autistic speedrunners.
Josiah Collins
No, midir was just a bullet sponge dont know about orphan someone tried to hand me a ps4 once and I threw it away lol
John Jackson
This is the actual hardest From boss fight
doing this in NG+ and beyond is pure torture
Christian Davis
worst runback for sure, the boss isn't that bad
especially with that summon you filthy casul
Evan Morris
Not my pic nigger
Mason Barnes
Demon of Hatred is harder
Evan King
The Demon of Hatred
Justin Reyes
for me Orphan is both the hardest and the most fun. He is so intimidating with extreme aggression and raging tantrums. Easy blocking and deflecting makes Sekiro easier than Bloodborne / Souls IMO
Matthew Smith
>shit BB boss is harder
the absolute state
Angel Morris
Deal with It, Ishin is shit
Jeremiah Taylor
demon of motherfucker hated nigger
Carson Jones
I beat Oprhan on first try so you better be memeing. Midir's head I couldn't even reach, and 2nd phase insta-kill laser disco had me nope out.
Sword Saint is a perfect boss. A few loops in and without Kuro's Charm his spear phase becomes a bitch though.
Jackson Baker
NG+ is actually easiest mode not even joking because the amount of boss memories you get makes your attack damage more than new game.
I think difficulty starts again from ng+3 or +4 because then you will be hitting soft cap on that bosses will get stronger.
Ian Hall
demon of hatred only was so hard because he was more of a soul boss then a sekiro one.
he's truly the only boss you can't deflect and counter to death.
Lucas Roberts
>I beat Oprhan on first try
doubt
Anthony Miller
>midir
yes midir is easy as long as you trigger the finisher at the end
>orphan
not even close unless you cheesed him with arcanes or the stagger glitch
