Why did he turn into a door?
Why did he turn into a door?
What game is this?
the writers realized that killing him meant they couldn't bank on him for sequels.
he got punched really hard
To lead the fanbase of fuckin' doorknobs.
kek
Because doors are awesome.
Because he burned his bread.
>turn into a door
>pic name is "becomes The Great Seal"
???
I legitimately forgot, wasn't something to do with causality from having that thing inside of him?
Because he was in a jamb!
because humanity is retareded
persona 3
Because Jesus.
Bad writing
lol I hope they never resolve that issue, otherwise there would be a p3 pt.2
I hope he gets free to stop Yukari from becoming a bitchy cunt at the end
Because The Answer needed an excuse plot even if it fucked up pretty much everything about the original ending.
No, I think it was that Erebus can't be killed, and neither could Nyx, but Nyx isn't an inherently evil entity and only tried to bring the fall because of Erebus, or something. So, he essentially became a wall between them. Seal, door, wall, whatever.
Though I thought I read in some of these threads that killing one of these entities, don't remember which, would mean permanently erasing death, and that's why he chose to seal them instead of removing them outright. Though I don't know where the hell this came from.
>his soul becomes a barrier preventing nyx from destroying everything at that very moment
>still walks around for months afterwards feeling sick before dying
wtf
The Universe card, son
I'm pretty sure Door's current state is one of Atlus regrets because they can't whore Door out in spin-offs as easily, but the ending had too much of an emotional impact for them to retcon it in a spin-off. I do imagine the eventual P3 remake will feature a new ending where Door does actually survive.
It hardens in response to social links
so is elizibeth ever going to actually save door-kun like she wants to in p4a?
Elizabeth is apparently trying to save him so that could be possible
He becomes a seal that separates the collective conscious of humanity (wanting to die) from Nyx (willing to fulfill their wishes).
>>still walks around for months afterwards feeling sick before dying
He was already a soulless husk even before he gave up his life to protect the world from Nyx, so nobody could tell the difference.
His promise to his friends to see everyone graduate is what kept his body going. He dies after they graduate. It's some anime shit but it's cute.
Best girl
Well of course. If a character is voiced by Miyuki Sawashiro she is the best girl. Always.
idk she's not even human and is just trying to imitate one, what if she has a giant tentacle cock where her vag should be and you don't find out until you're already naked and tied to the bedpost
P4/Arena makes it clear she'll free his soul eventually but it will take so long that no one who played P3 will ever see it.
Enjoy the ride?
go on
The retcon annoys me as if he became a door after the battle with Nyx-avatar, how does he live on a few months after? Did Philemon set up a psychic connection?
See
Velvet Room members are pretty much humans biologically. Except maybe for Igor lol. We don't know much about him.
I'm sure that would come up when the player character bangs her in game/
babybabybabybaby
BUUUUUURN MYYYYY BREEEEEEAAAAAAD
God, the more I think about The Answer and the stupid club book the more I hate both because between the two of them the actual events of Persona 3 are pointless.
- Backstory of P3 is the Kirijo nuts learning about The Fall and trying to artificially create Death to bring about Armageddon.
- Story of P3 is Ikutsuki trying to reform Death by having SEES kill the other Arcana Shadows.
- By doing this, Death becomes the Avatar of Nyx and calls her to come wipe out all life.
- Door sacrifices his life to seal Nyx away.
- The Answer retcons Death by creating Erebus, which is the real personification of man's despair.
- Erebus is strong enough to be a final boss, which means the artificial creation of Death actually meant nothing since human despair was apparently big enough that it wasn't needed.
- The Answer also retcons the seal by not actually sealing away Nyx, but sealing away Erebus, keeping it from calling Nyx.
- Club book retcons the calling of Nyx by claiming that she was just laying dormant until her body healed and that she just happened to regain her strength at the exact moment Death properly reformed.
- This means that if literally nothing in P3's backstory happened, if the Kirijo Group hadn't done any experiments or gone full-retard with their death cult, if SEES hadn't killed the other Arcana Shadows, The Fall still would've happened once Nyx healed herself and was then called by Erebus.
So that's why Yea Forums keeps calling him a door. After all these years, I finally understand. I thought he was as dumb as a door or something.
good post
Don't Worry FeMC will save you all from Nyx
The real question is why do all the velvet attendants fall in love with their guests? every single one of them does it with Marie and Margaret especially being into it, Margaret gives Yu an adult kiss complete with sensual moans and Marie is so heads over heals for him she becomes the local weather girl just to change the weather to bright and sunny just for Yu upon his return in arena and even becomes Inaba's guardian deity. Then there's Elizabeth and likely alternate universe Theodore and their wild card adventures, I dont know anything about the P5 girls but I did see an image of their complete form saying "I love you,my trickster, you're the world's best man." but she's a loli, so i doubt they actually let you pork her
>but she's a loli, so i doubt they actually let you pork her
but shotas are fair game in P3P?
It's super fucking boring in the Velvet Room.
>Erebus is strong enough to be a final boss, which means the artificial creation of Death actually meant nothing since human despair was apparently big enough that it wasn't needed.
I'd argue that it was still required as a trigger.
>Club book retcons the calling of Nyx by claiming that she was just laying dormant until her body healed and that she just happened to regain her strength at the exact moment Death properly reformed.
Never heard about that, but seems pretty damn bad. I wouldn't blame The Answer so much though.
>The Answer retcons Death by creating Erebus, which is the real personification of man's despair.
Wait, what? I thought the whole point was Death, now Nyx, was prompted by the woes of humanity to bring about the fall. I haven't played through the game in a while, but I remember this part making sense and not feeling retconny.
>Erebus is strong enough to be a final boss...
I think this was just because it's a video game. I don't think the game was seriously trying to suggest, through gameplay, that Erebus was secretly the true boss.
>The Answer also retcons the seal by not actually sealing away Nyx, but sealing away Erebus, keeping it from calling Nyx.
I never saw anything wrong with this. Nyx isn't inherently evil, Nyx was just doing what humans were collectively asking for. It shifts the narrative of the game from "evil god does evil things!!!" to "humanity as a whole is shitty and wants to die but this is a bad thing" in an attempt to be a little bit more life-affirming.
>Club book retcons the calling of Nyx by claiming that she was just laying dormant until her body healed
This was pretty bad.
p3 truly is the game about nothing. even if you ignore the answer and the club book, shit like junpei's revival and chidori's revival (which is canon) already contradict the supposed theme of the game.
>I'd argue that it was still required as a trigger.
Death was already the trigger. Even if you accept Erebus' existence as the manifestation of humaity's despair (which I'd still argue against because otherwise what's the point in the Kirijo Group artificially creating Death?), Death is still needed as the middleman between Erebus and Nyx. Erebus cannot simply call Nyx by itself. If the Seal can prevent Erebus from calling Nyx, which is what was stated in The Answer, then Death's entire existence is pointless.
>Erebus cannot simply call Nyx by itself. If the Seal can prevent Erebus from calling Nyx, which is what was stated in The Answer, then Death's entire existence is pointless.
The seal was only made after everything else had already happened though.
They tried to make a story that could live up to 1/IS/EP by making a over the top story that was rushed.
This why Izanami and Yaldy actually get killed but Nyx doesn't, despite being gods.
If the seal can prevent Erebus from calling Nyx, then logically Erebus can call Nyx on its own without needing Death.
I get it
>If the Seal can prevent Erebus from calling Nyx, which is what was stated in The Answer, then Death's entire existence is pointless.
I wouldn't say that. Yes, the seal prevents Erebus from contacting Nyx, but that doesn't make Death pointless; if the seal fails to rise to the occasion, then shit hits the fan. Choosing the bad end proves that, without the seal, Death manifesting as Nyx can and will be contacted by Erebus, bringing about The Fall.
>Even if you accept Erebus' existence as the manifestation of humaity's despair (which I'd still argue against because otherwise what's the point in the Kirijo Group artificially creating Death?)
If there's no Death, doesn't Erebus have nothing to contact? No Death, no Nyx, so what can Erebus do to bring about The Fall? I thought the whole idea was that the scientists created this almighty being that has the power to bring about the end of the world, but it must be manifested as Nyx and it must be contacted by humanity's collective conscious, assuming that collective conscious has reached the tipping point where humans have become so miserable that the species as a collective desires death.
Idk maybe I'm trying too hard to make this work (I agree that The Answer's story is kind of meh).
Totalitarian taste, my friend
Igor's a doll made by Philemon. He even says that he and Aigis are incredibly similar.
Reminder that Theodoor in their verse has no guest thus he's the bitch boy for everybody including the P5 girl. Theodoor's entire life is living under the heel of a bunch of women, it sucks
>forever dominated by hot super powerful women
It's not That bad yknow
Why not?
never thought this pic would ever become relevant
Yu is such a chad he even gets the best ending out of the protagonists. minato dies and joker goes to jail. Yu just leaves to slay more pussy in Tokyo and probably Rise when she returns to Tokyo to become an Idol
what can't this Chad do?
Take Joker's MC spot in Persona Q2.
The inferior persona q game
appear in the franchise's best games.
because Jesus
Pic not related btw
Is that a JO JO REFREFNCES?
So that best girl can get her spin off about saving him.
Well he banged Elizabeth hard enough in P3 for her to fall madly in love with him.
>I never played them but they're old so they must be good!
1 was better, just old, both versions of 2 are legitimate dogshit.
god I want to lick Elizabeth's armpits
Fucking seiyuuuufags are mouthbreathing retards
in this case you're not wrong though
t. VNpro
>joker goes to jail.
That won't be the case in Royal and Kasumi is gonna be his supernatural waifu too
