I want to get into the Atelier games. I know they are separated into some sort of sub series. Which one do I start with? The Arland games sound good..

Start with Rorona Plus/DX, then Totori, then Meruru. Don't play Rorona's postgame until you've beaten the other two.

if you want zero time limits, play mysterious book, mysterious painting and the newest one lulua

OP, I know you might mean well, but you posted the absolute worst Atelier spinoff. I'm playing it now, and it's challenging due to having entirely different rules than Atelier games, along with some pretty insane requests.

If you are new to the series, play Atelier Sophie. That's the best place to start, along with being the best game in the series. By the end, you should have a general understanding of what is expected from you in Atelier games. It's even better if you use the raw disk install and exploit the quality glitch, to speed things up even more.

>Sophie
>best place to start
>best game in the series
>exploit the quality glitch
I would be mad if I didn't know you are shitposting

Play the Arland games. Order is Rorona > Totori > Meruru > Lulua

>tfw nobody talking about Lulua despite it coming out a couple of days ago
Did it bomb in the west?

EU doesn't get it until today. Also been busy until today/the weekend. So I can finally get to it soon. The real bad part is that OP keeps making threads that don't hook anyone to keep them alive long enough.

I am literally going to marry Sophie!

Attached: 1521494721182.jpg (2783x2128, 1.5M)

I played it months ago in Jap but I don't want to spoil anything for EOPs

Really like the free DLC outfit that was just released.

Attached: Atelier_Lulua 2019-05-23 21-14-20.jpg (2880x1620, 902K)

This just made me realize I never did get to see what color they were in her game. Are they actually pink?

Just play the latest one as that's the one with the most QoL improvements. If you like it then you can play the older titles and go full on into the series.

Lulua wears white or pink panties depending on the outfit.

Up until the just released Lulua adding another entry to Arland they were broken into trilogies. As far as games available on current or last generation you've got three(in chronological story order:)

Arland: Rorona, Totori, Meruru (PS3/PS4/PC/Vita/Switch) (The Vita releases started with Totori and Rorona was remade later)
Dusk: Ayesha, Escha & Logy, then Shallie (PS3/Vita)
Mysterious: Sophie, Firis, then Lydie & Suelle (PS4/PC have all 3)
Arland sequel: Lulua PS4/Switch/PC

Arland is the trilogy that put Gust on the map...before they were bought out by Koei Tecmo.

these games are crippled by gust or KT feeling the need to shit them out once a year

I wouldn't have it any other way.

>Atelier games
They stopped being good after Mana Khemia.

>EU doesn't get it until today
It's out on Steam for EU

They have always been yearly.

They are what they are, they have their niche and sales are steady. I'm mostly just pissed that Gust doesn't get to make a decent original game because they're always working on this shit, there's a glint of actual talent there, they just never get the time or resources to show it.

Attached: Untitled.jpg (1594x899, 181K)

I have some serious issues with the internal logic of this world.

Attached: Atelier_Lulua 2019-05-24 15-40-55.jpg (2880x1524, 631K)

>uses cannon as a weapon
>smacks mobs with it instead of shooting

>swings it like a bat at enemies
When I first saw it, it was great. Exactly the unexpected I needed.

>unlock sidequests
>there's like 6 pages of them
Should I even bother looking at any of them past the first page?

I think those for the whole game. Many of them just unlock naturally as you progress and are locked behind the story, just synthesize new recipes when you get them and explore every area, you should complete most stuff without even thinking about it.

How many party members do you end up getting? Getting bored of bland childhood friend.

Attached: Atelier_Lulua 2019-05-22 14-48-30.jpg (2880x1524, 1.14M)

Who to use as the backline when you get the first 4 characters?

youtube.com/watch?v=Rd7NB4afdks
You can see if you watch the opening.

Iris 2 and 3, Mana 1 and 2, then skip the rest of the series because it turns to trash.

So, new GUST game announced on Tuesday. I don't really know their older franchises, what are the odds of it being Mana Khemia or Ar Tonelico or some other franchise vs an original IP?

Please don't spoil me, but this guy isn't who I think it is?

Totori was my favorite game, I remember every single fucking boss and every single one of his moves

Attached: 34.png (767x850, 1.35M)

lulua is amazing so far, holy shit nostalgia is a dreadfully powerful feeling

>eva has same seiyuu as komari from non non biyori
NNB game when?

Why do people say it's Ar Tonelico? It doesn't look the same at all.

Yes, it's exactly THAT one guy, except he's kinda turning good due to some spoilery stuff.

I am just glad that Sterk and Rorona finally decided to elope. Pigeonman deserves the best for him.

Attached: sterk rorona.png (1113x661, 1.22M)

"our adventure is just beginning"
>art and world look nothing like them
looks like a new IP, at least I fucking hope so, I don't want nonsprite MK, that's for damn sure, I'd rather the series just die on a high note than live to become a pile of shit.

whelp thank you user, my mind is blown

i should have expected that after mysterious but holy shit

How many endings does Lulua have?

How old is Sterk even in Lulua? Isn't he like 50 already?

He's 46, the exact age where Gio and Keithgriff debuted.

It came full circle now that he is basically the cool old man of the group.

Looks interesting but I'm not expecting anything higher quality than Nights of Azure/Blue Reflection.

Attached: Gust New Project:ティザートレーラー (1080p_30fps_H264-128kbit_AAC).mp4.jpg (1920x1080, 233K)

But the way Gust works is that they only ever pump out higher and higher quality work. It's how Blue Reflection exists at all.

a proper anime themed mmo

just imagine

20 years of getting blueballed and Sterk finally scored the alchemist pussy. Talk about a long game.

Gust has nowhere near enough budget to produce a game with a devtime longer than a year, yet alone mmo games.

There's like a hundred anime themed mmos. MMO is a dead genre.

>screenshot of a mp4
Gust shill spotted

Such as? and something of higher quality than bottom of the barrel. at least midway of the barrel?

I don't know man, like I said it's a dead genre. Maple Story 2 or something?

I tried to do some photoshop magic to make it less blurry, didn't work.

I've been liking it very much from what I've played.

How lost am I going to be in Lulua if I only played a couple hours of Rorona?

Not any other arland game I presume? You'll miss some fanservice scenes meaning but you should be fine. The game explains lot

I don't have much hope for it. It's good to see a potentially new IP, but it's Gust, they don't have the competence to put out good games. They look pretty, sure, but the games themselves are always glutted with gameplay and technical issues.

You'll only miss some jokes and nods to older games, but so far from what I've seen, they also give brief explanation about it.

Go for it, but I do recommend to finish the first three games first, personally.

I think I'm coming to a decision. Rorona and the rest of the Arland came out for PS3 which is a home console and not a portable, so it was meant to be played on an HD screen like what was available at the time. But then there's how it won't be console controls. Like how often is someone going to replay the Arland series anyways? If I finish it once and that's it, I don't know if I want it on a portable then.

Attached: Atelier_Lulua 2019-05-22 14-46-25.jpg (3769x1577, 860K)

I actually like how they have gone for the more slapstick scenes, they actually started going that route in lydie Suelle already. I bet they got tired of their stiff animations and decided to go extreme with them

>echo when talking outside in merurus town
Why?

Yeah the humor is pretty good at time, but it just often falls flat because you have to press A to continue the dialogue which kills the timing of many gags.

wtf bros why isn't this the original outfit

Yeah, I wish it had autoread like VNs do. Shouldn't even be that hard to implement

Anyone please?

when can i unlock the rorona outfit for lulua? i bought it as a dlc but it's not available in game

It's in the changing room on the notice board.

This has been a good thread. Have a reward.

Attached: pantsu.jpg (1604x2005, 402K)

>and it's challenging due to having entirely different rules than Atelier games, along with some pretty insane requests.
Please, elaborate.

It's not available sadly, I only get the Totori outfit and this one

Maybe it's unlocked via storyline progression? I swear I am seeing people wearing Rorona's clothes

These games made me fucking neurotic: I started with Totori and forgot Japs are not forgiving, so I'm trying to learn min/maxing near the end of the game because I don't want Totori sad (gotta get the good end on first try).

Is that a reused asset from Blue Reflection?

What was that game breaking bug? I saw someone mention it a few days ago

Don't cut trees.

Wouldn't be a surprise, they still reuse animations from shallie for luluas animations as well

It's not even the same genre as the rest of the series. Most Atelier games are JRPGs with a focus on crafting. Nelke is a city builder spinoff with characters from the main series showing up. Haven't played enough of it to see what "pretty insane requests" there are yet but it's definitely not a good representation of the series as a whole, even if it's fun.

>kt with power over an mmo
If you think their DLC scams are bad in the paid games go look at how bad things are in the f2p DOA game.

>tfw have seen the credits multiple times, but have no clue how big Gust is
Isn't it like 50 people?

How do you even cut trees? Throw bombs at them?

DLC that will be released by the end of July 2019. Japan isn't even getting Meruru until next week.

and what is the bug? I just got stuck on a level up screen, couldn't do anything, had to force quit the game. Hope I'm not fucked

Do you get any outfits for your party members just from playing or is it all DLC?

It's been great so far. All the callbacks and returning characters are great as expected, it's good to see how they've developed since Meruru (and Lulua fangirling over the previous protagonists was fun). The returning areas are even more fun than expected, didn't think I'd enjoy going back through Arls in the newer engine (I assume I'll see Arland areas too). And Alchemyriddle is a huge improvement over the discovery system. Best Atelier in a long time so far.

Why are these games so fucking expensive on PC? I played Shallie, Sophie, and Firis and I’d like to play the Arland games but they’re $60 PS3 ports and literally never go on sale.

Because KT is greedy

My feelings as well. Seeing Merurus Atelier in 3D was great, and the "treasure" got a smile out of me.

I think they're going to do a few more games in Arland universe, but after that they should revisit Dusk and finish that story.

Attached: D5kG_31XsAAFlPm.jpg (1365x2048, 241K)

The Arland trilogy is $90

>$60 for three games is expensive
???

I wish Akira Tsuchiya was involved in it

Attached: GUSTNEWPROJECT.webm (960x540, 2.83M)

The Arland games, Ayesha, and Mana Khemia are good. Avoid all the newer entries.

>he doesnt recommend Sophie despite it having the best alchemy system
Weak

Attached: 74542019_p1.jpg (1668x2224, 623K)

Just cleared the game yesterday. I didn't find any of the tasks "insane," despite never playing a game like this before. Main research had me worried a few times, but I still got all of it done by turn 80ish. It was a pretty fun game that I wouldn't mind seeing a sequel to.

>elope

The absolute delusional state of shipperfags.

>Atelier
>caring about spoiler

lol

And then they dropped the ball at the ending

Please no. Dusk is already a shitshow after they abandoned their original plans for it and just replaced it with a cliched environmentalist story.

Because KT is nearly as greedy of a company as EA.

>>Please no. Dusk is already a shitshow after they abandoned their original plans for it and just replaced it with a cliched environmentalist story.
Can't say you're incorrect, I still want to see Wilbell getting that last element

>it's good to see how they've developed since Meruru

Only Totori has "developed". Meruru and Rorona are just bumming around with no real jobs.

I have some issues with the outfits in this game.
I get that these girls are moms now, but they don't have to wear ugly maternity outfits.

Nu-Gust only makes mediocre games at best.

It still looks stiff as fuck especially when they keep spamming the same animations and poses over and over again.

Yikes, a lot of pedos on Yea Forums

You would need to do Rorona NG+ to get all the endings though, does the game let you delay playing the postgame until after you get as many endings as you're willing to clear?

There are severals but none are really good.

i hope so. this serie is the worst to come from japan in recent years.

>they have their niche and sales are steady

Thanks to whales.

Atelierfags are okay with mediocre trash, I suppose.

It's the most hated Atelier since Sophie in Japan.

Well yes, they're like Neptuniafags except with less "ironic" enjoyment of their franchise.

I dunno what they felt about the game itself, but they definitely liked her as a character.

Attached: atelier-poll-results.jpg (800x1200, 345K)

Number one

Attached: 72284307_p0.png (1268x2120, 2.13M)

Haven't met those two yet, but I'm not just talking about the protagonists. Piana, Sterk, Keina, Cole, Lionela... all of them have advanced and it's interesting to see where they all ended up. There were even some mentions of Gio, Hagel, and Iksel that got me curious but I don't think they're supposed to return.

Going to need a source on that

>Sterk
He's doing the same shit he has always been doing.

And he looks fucking younger now. Fuck actually aging characters properly.

I played The Alchemist of Arland and Alchemists of the Dusk Sky, anything worth playing after this ? ( i tried Sophie and it was pure trash)

No. They're mediocre at best.

I don't think they ever explained why Rorona abandoned Lulua like that.

>OLD GOOD NEW BAD
The Mysterious trilogy has the best alchemy system, a better questing system, improved battle mechanics, and best girls. Stay mad

Barrel?

None of that is true.

Barrel.

Stay mad

>OLD GOOD NEW BAD
I hate everyone who echoes that sentiment. It's obvious they're just trying to be deep by pretending to care about the "old" thing

Is this one worth playing?

Attached: Marie_Box_Art_(Sega).jpg (300x236, 48K)

This. Sophie is the best in the franchise. Firis is fun and experimental. Lydie & Suelle takes the best from both games. Arlandcucks can seethe all they want

Agreed. The older games were such a fucking slog. Horribly paced and beyond tedious.

I want to marry this STD

Attached: th.jpg (474x697, 28K)

I do just like I did for MH.

>tfw no twintail Sophie

Considering it somehow lead the entire franchise, it must be.

Thank you for reminding me to download them while they're free.

*shit_taste.jpg
Be sure to change your filename, retard.

>OLD GAME GOOD NEW GAME BAD
I am so sick of these fucking faggots trying to be deep. You can tell they're underage, because they never talk about an Atelier game that's older than the Arland trilogy. Because they weren't born yet.

>Firis at the absolute bottom
Get out of here mate

Stay mad

Attached: 1558727097899.jpg (416x490, 74K)

My wife Sophie is cute! CUTE!!!

based

Lydie & Sue is probably the best in the series so far, and that's not saying much, considering how mediocre all the titles have been.

absolutely based Sophie I love you

I really refuse to understand how people hate Mysterious but fawn over Lulua.

Same slice of life stuff.
No time limits.

What the fuck is wrong with Mysterious? Because Sophie is a grounded and realistic character? Mysterious and Arland are thematically, literally the same. Dusk is the oddball of the franchise - not saying it's bad, it's great.

Because they are retarded

>Mysterious and Arland are thematically, literally the same

If you can't see the difference, I feel sorry for you.

That's how bad the Atelier fandom has gotten. It's just filled with newfags who knew nothing about the series and only play it for the "cute girls"

The cute girls are like 80% of the appeal of an atelier game.

Maybe it has something to do with Sophie being a trash game that cockblocks you with longass grinding just for new content every 2 hours or so and Firis being an unironic buggy piece of shit

Start with Rorona or Sophie
a big bunch of retards will say that mysterious is bad because they're retarded but ignore them

Attached: 1e3fda3ef61dc65411e6956a159d2385.png (1024x1024, 502K)

>Firis
>Buggy
It's bad, not buggy, though I heard it was shit on the vita but >vita
Sophie and LS are both great games and both far better than Torori.
Rorona and Meruru are both pretty good though.

Attached: 130.jpg (3481x2432, 2.31M)

Totori has great challenge and a logical setup that gives you both short and long term goals to achieve and a constant feeling of progression. The characters and the main story are also pretty good and memorable.
Sophie literally has none of that, it just forces you to do literal MMO tier quests for progress and events every once in a while. It has no structure and that makes it pretty fucking bad in return. Firis is not only buggy, it's also mechanically broken.
L&S is okay, though.

>Totori has great challenge and a logical setup that gives you both short and long term goals to achieve and a constant feeling of progression.
Did we play the same game? Because Totori has bar none the absolute worst feeling of progression of mysterious+arland, it's also just the worst of them in general but that's probably partially due to the + version not really changing much. Some of the characters are nice but that's about it.
>and the main story are also pretty good and memorable.
what main story? saying "We'll look for your mom" and then 3 years later saying they heard something about her, and then you go to an ice island to go find her? there was barely any story in the game, the only even vaguely surprising thing that happens is that her mom is dead but then no she isn't after you beat the demon king
sophie had faults but i cannot possibly believe that someone with a functioning brain could like the "main story" of totori and think that it's joke of a "progression" was anything about absolute horse shit

but yea firis has a lot of faults and is in general kind of bad

Attached: 128.jpg (3481x2432, 2.61M)

I'm genuinely intensely curious as to how so many people seem to think totori is a good game when it's by far the worst.
Is it just because Totori's cute?

Attached: 4534534343.jpg (1280x720, 282K)

The way the world constantly expands in Totori as you efficiently grow your Chim workshop, constantly shit on bigger and bigger monsters and ultimately cross the sea towards an uncharted land gives Totori the most adventurous feeling of all Atelier games, the only one that comes close is Ayesha.
The mechanics are pretty unpolished and it's lacking a shitload of QOL stuff, yes, but there's a reason Totori literally saved GUST back during its release. It's a fantastic game with thematic consistency and great execution, something that cannot be said for either Sophie or Firis.

>It's a fantastic game with thematic consistency and great execution, something that cannot be said for either Sophie or Firis.
Again, are we talking about the same games?
Firis may be pretty shit mechanically but thematically is probably sells itself the best with Firis leaving her town for the first time and the world being a giant place to explore.
>gives Totori the most adventurous feeling of all Atelier games
crossing the sea to ice land is something i guess but i really did not feel "adventurous" during that I was just annoyed because at that point I was just fed up with the game and wanted it to be over

Yeah, when you get people unironically calling Totori bad are really telling.

When both the series and the fanbase are unsalvageable, it's time for you to just leave it all and go play something better. I haven't even bothered to pirate Lulua.

Also yes like goddamn imagine getting a double naizuri from Totori and Mimi
But Totori's also a good character, she's pretty mean spirited, cynical and sadistic in comparison to the other Arland girls

I now remember how Mysterious was so bad it killed the Gust general on /jp/.

the atelier fanbase are just bored nepfags at this point

>"Mysterious was so bad"
>Sophie and LS sold extremely well
>Sophie is the most popular character in the game
always nice to know the staunch arland retards are a minority

It didn't kill the general, the general killed itself.

Sad

>But Totori's also a good character, she's pretty mean spirited, cynical and sadistic in comparison to the other Arland girls
Yea she is a nice character.
Too bad her game is bad.

Attached: 1533899802697.png (1000x2000, 615K)

>Sophie and LS sold extremely well

Ahahahahahahaha

shhhhh it's ok, here's your (you), i know you desperately need it

All I want was a translation of Ciel Nosurge or the older Atelier games. I don't give a shit about these soulless new Ateliers they're pumping out.

Remember that we literally got some Twitter LGBTQ++ advocate posting on Atelier threads here.

Not that guy but here you go. These are the Japan and Asia numbers and don't count the western release yet.

Attached: 1531237547467.png (859x709, 1013K)

Part of the issue with Firis and especially Sophie is that they give you nothing to do. Progress is cloudy at best and at worst it's senseless grinding.
In Totori you have clear goals, from raising your license level to grinding out friendships, triggering events and working around the clock as efficiently as possible to get rich and get shit done even more efficiently while killing bosses and exploring new areas around the map, it's a progression loop that both gives you constant goals AND a variety of means to get them done, and all the gameplay mechanics work in service to that.
That's really fucking good design, and when put in contrast to whatever the fuck Sophie was trying to do it really makes you wonder what the fuck happened along the way.
Lulua isn't a perfect game, but the way it abuses nostalgia effectively and the fact it doesn't literally cockblock your progress makes it at least worth a play.

>PSVita for each one
>Nelke was even sold for the vita
Does anyone actually play on that thing that it's viable to produce and sell copies?

>Blue Reflection is only Japan not Japan/Asia. Guess it didn't sell that bad when compared to established franchises.

Interesting. This is the first time I've seen the image of Sophie that large. Only able to tell because I can see Plachta's feet.

>it abuses nostalgia effectively

Imagine being this thirsty for Arland that you don't realize it's just another Mysterious.

>L&S counts Switch and Steam and yet Sophie is still near the same number
Really makes me wonder. Although, maybe in Japan they still use PS4 over PC. The 180K dedicated fans are at least always there. And 80k of them for Gust.

But I do, it obviously takes after Shallie and L&S mechanically.
It's just that those games are actually decent in comparison to the rest of the neptunia-tier shitshow that's Sophie/Firis

Closest you'll get I'm afraid. Her VA doesn't get that many roles.

Attached: 71876010_p0.jpg (3071x4350, 1.06M)

cursed image

Attached: vita vs switch vs ps4.jpg (1920x2344, 1.15M)

I regret ever getting back into the series. I left it behind years ago with Iris and MK and I got some fond memories of it.

But now, even Gust is milking nostalgia. Nothing is satisfactory about the old characters appearing on Nelke or this poor attempt of Arland 4.

I want to say I prefer for Gust to make a fresh new trilogy, but I know it would just end up like Mysterious because they really can't make good games anymore.

Nice revisionism, newfag.
It was on life support since 2012 because the core of the threads was always cute autism of AT fans.

jesus christ no wonder my friend hated the game on the vita

I'd rather them not drag my fond Arland memories to the mud.

The same way how Ayesha's sequels nearly ruined my fond memories of Ayesha.

gonna play mana khemia or ar tonelico, whichever runs better on pcsx2. Any tips?

The gameplay must be so good.

Blue Reflection and Lydie and Suelle on Vita are Japan only and as far as I'm aware aren't even available in China even as a digital only release. I have no idea why they continued to make Vita versions of those, especially after how fucking terrible Firis on Vita was.
At the very least now with Lulua they have dropped the Vita so the baseline for the games is the Switch which is a giant step up. Vita was definitely holding things back.

They never gave numbers like that in a financial report for Firis, and they also haven't given them out for an Atelier prior to Sophie which makes me think that those two are outliers of success.

Let me guess you think the only good games are the arland trilogy

How about Artonelico?

You need to set up some renderer hack for the games to run properly, other than that they work flawlessly

Never finished 1. Finished 2 but I actually sided more with the Sublimation plan instead of the cliched "We can work together!" ending the protags ended up with.

What can I say? I'm fine with uploading your brain to a virtual world and abandoning your real body behind.

To be fair the only truly terrible Vita ports of GUST's games are Nights of Azure and Firis, the rest look terrible but they're playable if you have no other means of getting the games

Play Cyber Sleuth HaMe if you want a more nuanced take on the concept.

I played through Ar Tonelico 1 and 2 about a year or two ago on PCSX2, worked fine. Definitely recommend the retranslation patch for AT2, it's much better with it.

>firis is basically a SaGa game

Is this right?

God Nelke was so disappointing.

No. SaGa games tend to be pretty good.

what happened to western release of scarlet grace?
I played the JP ver and it was awesome

>youtube.com/watch?v=pUoOfdRmSyc
This game looks like it's going to be great. The trailer absolutely overjoys me to see what's going to happen.

Please cease fighting! Atelier threads are supposed to be comfy

Why don't they do time limits anymore?

Atelier threads are comfy.

In atelier games without time limits do you guys still keep track of time and try to complete everything in the most efficient way?

TOTORI CUNNY
He's right Nelke & the Legendary Alchemists ~Ateliers of the New World sucks

Attached: 1446343753326.jpg (596x842, 147K)

Well doing things efficiently means less grinding for materials so yes.

Nelke was easy as fuck though. People kept making it out to be super hard but I beat it on my first attempt no problem.

Yea Forums is 95% shit casuals

I'm currently travelling so I can't even buy it until the sale is over.

Have anyone played the new Arland DX? Was there anything different?

I don't want time limits to ever come back

All I really played for is comfy alchemy grindan

I waste a lot more time on travelling. Go to one new area, pick a lot of shit, return to town and then go to a new area past the previous area. With time limits I would do multiple areas in a row and discard a lot of items on the way

Time limits are meaningless on a newgame+ anyway.

They should do time limits but ask you if you want them when you start the game

More like Sophie's cast was so unmemorable that Sophie was the only one anyone voted for.

Atelier threads are never comfy

Interesting plot with a disappointing resolution.

It's hugely different to the newer games.

No. I'm not retarded.

It's just how the Atelier fanbase is these days. Just people who want easy, "comfy" games with cute animu waifus.

someone hire this man

And when looking at the Japan numbers alone L&S was the worst selling game since Mana Khemia 2.

How long is Lulua?

>Went to Gamestop to buy Lulua told only to get told they don't stock "niche titles like that"

Remind me why I buy shit at brick-and-mortar stores instead of Amazon?

>hurr cute girls bad
Why are you even in an atelier thread

explain

Do you live in some small state or something

Just south of Nashville.

I'm interested in a new JRPG series, but compared to other turn based rpgs, what type of game is it like? Dragon quest, final fantasy, SMT, EO, or something else? Setting seems to be bright and cheery.

It's like neither of those, it's its own game series for a reason. Main focus is on item variety and team variety.

It's bad when it attracts drooling retards like you.

Combat is pretty basic but there are a lot of items you can use in combat that you have to make yourself

How many chapters does Lulua have?
How long does it take to beat it?
Is there some type of end game?

New protag looks very sexy. Also this is the new Atelier series after Mysterious where Gust will continue to be based af with no time limits and even more QoL upgrades.

I guess time limits are "too hardcore" despite the series being designed around them.

Based optimism poster.

Start with Atelier Annie. It had town building mechanics while still playing like a more traditional Atelier game.

Does Lulua have content gated for NG+? I’m playing Meruru and found out a few things can only be done in NG+.

How long did Meruru take you to finish before NG+?

>DS game
Nice. Why didn't they continue to make games for the 3DS?

Are your gamestops far and in between too

After 4 years I still fap to Sophie now and then.
Can't say the same about Rorona, for example.

>Can't say the same about Rorona
I can

I fapped to her notdaughter yesterday, does that counts?

>tfw Rorona now looks even older
What were they thinking

Kind of. I'd say they're about half an hour in-between. Nothing downtown I don't think.

Fucking hell Lulua is such a pervert
How did Rorona raise her like this

I know people hate Escha & Logy as a game but goddamn it i love Escha.

Also am currently really enjoying Lulua though i know there the ending(s) are suppose to be shit somehow that still isn't going to stop me from enjoying the game.

That's only if you assume that week 1 numbers are all that matters.

I’m still playing it but I’m near the end with 60 hours on steam.

I’m thinking that she didn’t.

None of them, games full of fanservice garbage are never good and these games drop in quality as theyre released.

how was Nelke actually
I'm thinking of picking it up eventually, it seems like a really weird thing to exist

>No Veola
Clearly, something is wrong with that poll.

It's great.

it's a full price mobile phone game

how can i get good games like nelke on my phone?

Holy shit, based Nelke poster.

If you're an Atelier fan it's pretty disappointing.
If you're into city bulding, it's pretty disappointing too. It does have or tries to have some sense of challenge but as soon as you get the gist of it it gets boring and repetitive.
It's not worth what they're asking for it, at most $15.

Just start playing Atelier Online, it's the same shit and available for free.

>Veola
Oh shit, is she in that new one that mashes all the Atelier games together?

just download a random game with an anime face on it

Is building the 1% things worth it?

Is it okay to start with Lulua without having played any other Atelier game?

Yes. And that applies to all Atelier games. They're made in such a way that you can play them without another, but you can always see how they connect to other games too.

I see I may pick it up then!

Single mom who is never home

How long is Lulua? Like 20 hours or something?

Sophie cute
