How to play DS remastered on PC?
Never played souls series, but after checking lore i immediately decided to play, but after installing, gameplay kinda disappointed me. It was very slow, sloppy and very uncomfortable. What should i do about that? I heard that DS wasn't meant to be on PC initial

dsfix is for the original shitty port, not remaster. It let you play on higher resolutions and framerates than 720p30fps, and I think it improved mouse camera movement.

i start liking challenging games, hardcore so to say after playing Sekiro, that is why i want to play DS. But yeah, the gameplay isn't that good with k+m

Don't listen to the people hyping the original Dark Souls PC release: it's exactly the same game but locked at 30 fps.
Dark Souls is inherently a clunky, slow game. If you don't enjoy playing it just drop it. If you're interested on the lore just watch a walkthrough and lore videos.

Sekiro is a very different beast than the Souls games. Of the Dark Souls games, Dark Souls 3 is the fastest one but still is very slow compared to Sekiro.
my advise still stands: avoid Dark Souls. Sadly there aren't other games that are comparable to Sekiro. Some people will tell you to play Nioh but you'll find that game as disappointing as Dark Souls 1, maybe way more.

I never played it without DSFix and I agree about the lightning and textures looking better, but at the end of the day is exactly the same game. That's my point.

Why is Bandai Namco so retarded? If they just didn't call it a remaster, and force you to rebuy it on PC, this would've had a much better reception. The ps3 and 360 versions ran like shit, so it's a good thing there's a decent console version, but it's not a remaster.

I never bothered because I'm aware that the game was developed at 30 fps (it's a console game after all), the 60 fps unlock introduces glitches and I have no trouble playing a 30 fps game. Of course 60 fps is ideal, but a 30 fps game is far from playable.
