GEE I WONDER WHAT'S ABOUT TO HAPPEN
>character gets cut off mid-sentence
>0.5 - 1 second of silence before interrupter speaks
God damn it.
>playing with subtitles on
You should only have this problem in games that don't have voice acting
>Subtitles end mid-sentence with a-
The worst kind of subtitles are the ones where they have multiple sentences in them, effectively a mini spoiler of what's about to come.
i like to keep subtitles on because it allows me to have contact with properly written english instead of online talk
This along with bad or delayed lip syncing are quite possibly my biggest peeve.
I have bad hearing :(
I love when skyrim does this because often times the interrupter is in the middle of the "arms crossed" animation and has to wait for his animation to reset before speaking
Just turn up the volume bro
It doesn't work.
WHAT ARE YOU TRYING TO SAY YOU MOTHERF-(*gets stabbed*).
then turn it up louder
my ears are bleeding now.
yeah skyrim has a lot of this shit, Borderlands game to
Metro Exodus had characters who talked over each other like normal human beings, and people wouldn't stop bitching about it.
im glad games are starting to get better with this
Literally any Telltale game
came into the thread to post this, it gets me every time goddamn
Same for me bro, 90% hearing loss. I can't hear shit
Thats just your body getting the deafness out, crank it up louder.
I was wondering this myself and think this has something to do russian being the "first" language
I read them faster than they can talk
