Another user to add to that: Korean Terran players would straight up leave TvT games at the start because if you're playing at a PC Bang, TvT is a lot of time investment (which equals money investment) for a relatively small payoff (just a single win or loss).
It's also a fact that, in general, we have the least understanding of TvT. Most people who believe they understand TvT simply don't, beyond the superficial understanding of the whole "tank line" mechanic and some dropship play. It's a fun show to watch if you enjoy long-winded macro games, though.

On paper, yes. In practice, they cost a lot of gas, they require upgrades to be effective, their damage in combat is weak, they're squishy as hell (they don't survive more than a second under a Psionic Storm, and just a couple of dragoon shots), and you need to fit your barracks somewhere in your base in a faction that has trouble with base space.

You can do some fancy stuff like shutting down drops or Recalls with it, yes, and there's some cool plays you can do with it, but practically, you mostly use it for stylin'.
Science Vessels with EMP Shockwave are your answer to Arbiters. More mobile, can patrol on the lookout for Recalls, can shut down Stasis, and give you detection so that you don't have to keep scaning the Toss army.

The amount of money he makes streaming, it's honestly not worth entering tournaments you might not win. You have to do off-stream practice and that's cutting into his income. I recall somewhere somebody had all their incomes and flash was making something like 400k per year from stream donations. 40k from a tournament win is piss all

I would imagine that he'd eventually still have to play and rape in tournaments to maintain his status, although I know absolutely nothing about the korean streaming scene.
The only person who can consistently beat Flash is Effort. The tournaments add narratives to the streaming story. So right now, Flash has one unconquored mountain: beat Effort in a best of 5. It's the one thing he hasn't done. But effort is in the military. No one else can challenge him.

Protoss has been in a slump for a few years idiot. T and Z were walking all over them. This is a combo of good players like Flash dropping out, who are typical P killers, good maps, and the rise of good players like Rain.
What happens to all those mid-tier players who, while pretty good, are never good enough to win tournaments? From their perspective, they're just entering tournmants just to lose. So why bother? But you need those 20 or so mid-tier players to fill out tournmants.
Does Africa give them a baseline sallary?
