Not that many here people care but Computex is on the 27th I think and AMD will be finally showing something real for Zen 2 and Navi so you may be able to do a little interpreting for what the next gen consoles are gonna have in them. My personal expectations are Vega 56 levels of performance but other people say a vega 64 level of performance but I personally don't that unless Microsoft's High end xbox is a bit pricey

I also think they've got a few more WiiU ports they've got in mind before it's all said and done.

I only care about Halo and Metroid so seeing Infinite and Dread is a win for me, seeing many of their other games is great but Halo and Metroid are my bread and butter.

Halo 4's campaign was decent, and Halo 5 had a fu mp, some of the funnest games this gen and better than 90% of the shit third parties and Sony releases today so I rather have them. Infinite is getting me interested with the game being focused on Master Chief again with the most open-ended levels in the series since Halo CE with levels even larger than what is seen in Halo 3.

It was mediocre at best, my biggest gripe was how every weapon/grenade drop fucking disappeared after you went 100 feet away and made playing on legendary a fucking chore because I'd constantly be running low on ammo due to everything depopping. 5's campaign was just crap.

Halo 5 went one step forward, one step backward with the CoD nonsense that doesn't fit Halo and the MP and campaign co-op were online-only. Worst entry in the franchise for this reason alone, there was no reason to cut half the game's functionality and drop local play beyond the single-player campaign.

Best combo in history, Samus and Chief against, Space Pirates, Covenant, Metroids, Sentinels, X, Flood, Chozo, Forerunners, make it happen Nintendo and Microsoft.

Nah, local play being cut makes it the worst by default, like how can you not have that in a fucking Halo game. And don't say it was because they were targeting 60fps, they still could have had splitscreen run at 30 if necessary, or bump down the visuals and effects, it wouldn't have changed their 60fps single-player vision. Even they knew it was a mistake because it was one of the very first things they were sure to address when taking about future games, the hadn't even announced one yet and were promising they'd bring local play back.

I'd still think it was the worst even if it had it though. It removed load outs and one or two other things Halo 4 had, but then shoe-horned in the stupid clamber, ground-pound, slide, ADS etc. just to appeal to people who don't give a shit about Halo in the first place. You could still enjoy Firefight and plenty of local custom games in Reach without all the stuff you hate if they bothered you that much. Almost everything Reach does wrong 4 and 5 do wrong, but worse.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves, I just rewatched their 2010 conference yesterday. It was good, but it had problems. Have you gone back and checked the Kevin Butler speech lately? It's a "please don't hate Move for being casual wank" begging session disguised as a rah-rah games speech, and Kev himself shows up by "interrupting" the presenter talking about the marketing deal they struck with Coca-Cola (after the guy ws already done talking about it, of course). And they seriously took time at E3 to literally show actual commercials, as one of the only things they had for PSP was the introduction of the Marcus ad campaign; a bit self-defeating, as the character is introduced as a kid who wants to spotlight the PSP more, and then they proceed to do nothing else with the system at the rest of the conference. And of course the damn thing ran two bloody hours long.

That's the reason I'm most glad Sony isn't presenting anything this year: they always go long, and even on their best years it's never justified, it's always padded by anywhere from 20-40 minutes of unnecessary tripe.

Nintendo used to make the best games in the industry, they were peerless. Nowadays they're a shadow of their former selves who make insipid Mario and Zelda games over and over. If they were even a fraction as good as their SNES days a Nintendo console would be must have for anyone who likes games but that's just not the case anymore.

No it's more like I grew out of the series that these games are sequels to. I don't like 3D Mario games very much so I'll pretty much never miss out on a good Mario game again. I owned a Wii U without the touch Screen and all I played was Mario Kart 8 and Smash U both are fun party games but I have a Dolphin if I need to play Mario Kart again. Not saying those games are shit like that guy but I don't like JRPGs and Platformers so what else is there? Luigi's Mansion 3? I bet it will be pretty fun

Geist an actual good Nintendo FPS and it deserves a switch remaster. Not every game I own that let's me shoot niggas is an FPS I actually don't own a single COD but the Switch dont got Hitman and thats a damn shame right there. I also like RTS, Racing Sims and weird indie games like Space Pilgrim but the switch has very little of that. You don't buy a Nintendo consoles expecting much 3rd party support nowadays and I have very little interest in 1st party titles
