Halo Infinite: story details

Connected to production. Can't wait for you guys to experience what we have been working hard at for the past few years. Gamers who love stories with epic scope, endearing characters and complex themes. This may be our final chapter with the Master Chief and we want to make it truly an experience to remember for years to come. So here are some story details ahead of our upcoming E3 showcase.

>Villains: There are four great main villains present throughout the story of this chapter of Halo. One from a certain shady intelligence agency, another from a time before time, another more familiar one, and the one I'm most excited for is an amazing Ancient Human General called Nuada, he's kinda like a prehistoric Irish guy voiced by the magnificent Liam Neeson, he leads an assortment of ancient human species, from giant ape like creatures, to small hobbit-like humans. Neeson really gave this character his all and we're excited to reveal him to you at this e3,

Chief is of course finally the centerpiece of it all. This is really about the chief having the time to retrospect his career, his choices and to allow him time to grow further as a character. Many fan favorites will be present too and yes the Chief can make rpg like choices this time round. We have a canon ending set in stone, we're not going the Mass Effect route at all, so it's still linear in that sense. But we decided to have a ''what if'' story line integrated for replay-ability. For example a character may die in a certain situation because of your prior choices, but the canon ending may say they actually survived that certain event in the story.

There are also many side missions, which allow the player to learn more about the Forerunners, Humanity past and present a certain horrifying species. You can also partake in optional events similar to Red Dead Redemption 2. The chief may accept an offer from bored Marines to attempt some fishing in a nearby lake. He's still chief though, so don't expect a plethora of lines in response to his Marine buddies, but those small lines will be glorious!

We are really proud of this game, and we can't wait to properly unveil it to you.

Fuck ONI
Fuck the Forerunners
And Fuck Cortana

I hope Halo isn't falling for the open world meme

>Halo:Infinite
>ANYTHING:Infinite
That kind of name is always a red flag.

>This may be our final chapter with the Master Chief

Does anybody actually believe this?

sounds awful

Marathon Infinity is one of the greatest FPS stories ever told

Why is it so hard for you fags to come up with a good fucking Halo Infinite leak, it's not even hard.

This is not even a leak coming from me but I already know the main enemies are going to be
The Covenant
The Flood
The Forerunners

Wow, that was easy. Anyone that expects, ONI or the Banished are idiots.

You should have left Chief alone after 3. And then bring him back in this game. Retards

Bullshit as usual.
However, a source did say the music will have similar vibes to ODST.

Not even close, after Halo 5 343 already stated that main series games will be Master Chief, spin-offs will be other characters from now on.

>343 stated

Many things have been stated, I have been lied to by Frankie too much to ever believe anything I don't see.

>343
That's enough for me to doubt it'll be good but we'll see.

Then you're just plain retarded, 343's and Microsoft advertising Chief in everything should tell you Chief is here to stay, he can also live for eons now anyway. Microsoft failed too much on the other characters in FP Halo games and decided to just stick with Chief.

Based. What are the system requirements? Does it have couch co-op?

This would be pretty cool assuming there are still linear campaign segments. Especially having to fight ancient humanoids and doing shit like fishing. Fake as hell though considering 343 has states chief is a staple going forward and the Lore starts with modern looking humans because they were created by Precursors and then locked up by forerunners before the halo arrays went off (unless we assume that precursors made them through guided evolution/or had multiple humanoid species which the forerunners preserved.)

Replacing covenant with the banished would be the best move 343 could make right now. Not having them present at all would be dumb as hell.

>epic scope, endearing characters and complex themes
these are things i can decide for myself, thanks
it's not hard to use neutral language to describe something

Brutes are not that fun to fight and the Banished seem more suited for RTS. I rather fight regular Elites, not Jackal Elites.

Banished aren't just brutes though, plenty of elites there too.

Dear humanity, we REGRET making this post. We REGRET letting 343 take over, and we sure as hell REGRET halo 5. Hoorah

They treat them like Jackals, I don't even think they have Energy Shields. The four main Covenant have always been the best species the new additions added in Halo 2, ODST, and Reach never really added anything to the sandbox plus the Prometheans just make it harder for the other species to exist. Since they have the same roles, Halo 2, 3, and Reach could never even have the Elites and Brutes fighting the players at the same time without one being the enemies or them being enemies of each other in the campaigns.

Are you sure about that?
