Are people still able to mod Wii's? I'm thinking of modding mine but I dont want to waste my time trying something that isnt possible anymore.
Are people still able to mod Wii's...

Why would anyone not be able to still mod Wii's?
fuck the impossibility of wii modding
Why would it stop being possible? They stopped releasing firmware updates years ago
Joking or retarded
please.hackmii.com
Here you go you retarded nigger
I didn't google this because I have it memorized, but it's probably the first result on google for "Wii homebrew"
It's fast and easy. This better not be some meme reference where a bunch of unrelated posts are going to come flooding in. I'm serious. Mod your Wii or get the fuck out of here. I don't have all the answers. I don't remember anything. I modded my Wii like a decade ago. Google it.
And don't fuck with me!!!!
OP is a stupid nigger
I modded a wii about a month ago. It's pretty annoying with the whole io port thingy or whatever it is.
It's a mod you retard, you're not trying to buy scott pilgrim on psn
What the..............................FUCK?
MOdding the Wii is the easiest thing since I clipped my toe nails.
Hoyl shit..IO port. what the d*rn are you talking about?
Just mod your wii OP, and don't listen to naysayers.
You'll be loading up your complete rom sets that you're never going to play in no time.
I managed to fuck up something as simple as modding a wii, and since it's pretty much a relic at this point, I dont know anyone who knows how to do it well. I managed to load the homebrew and all within the guide. When I load a game, (first attempt was wii sports) it booted the title and all but once I open it the screen goes to black
why bother? the games look terrible on HDtvs
You probably need to mess with IOS.
It could also be that your ISO/wad/whatever it is, is no good, and therefore, won't work.
It can get pretty complicated if you're trying to boot pirated software.
But no one would ever do that, so you have nothing to worry about.
But hypothetically, if you did, IOS (not the iphone thing) would be a good place to start.
Can I get gamecube roms on a homebrew wii?
yes
use a program called Nintendont to run GC games
Google "Nintendont"
This thread is making me want to say the N-word!
If you (((ZOOMERS))) would just spend more than 8 milliseconds doing research on your own, your Wii would already be modded and running games you have no intention of ever playing by now!
REEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
NIGGER
what about this fact?
user it's literally the easiest console to hack, you don't even need an SD card anymore, just fellow the guides (not YouTube), install the Homebrew channel, the cios, nintendon't,some loader and enjoy your console,I literally did this without any experience some years ago using the letterbomb exploit
This fact can suck my absolute nuts, because OP's post didn't read as follows:
>Are people still able to mod Wii's? I'm thinking of modding mine but I dont want to waste my time trying something that looks bad on HDtvs [sic]
And personally, I would never connect my Wii to an HDTV anyway. What makes you think OP is using an HDTV?
This is the only post in the entire thread that matters, OP.
Just believe in yourself and never give up.
Not the other user but you need to buy Wii HD cables, which are pretty expensive these days, if you want to play on an HDTV or buy an old TV. I have a cheap 16inch flat screen tv monitor from 2009(probably older than that since it was cheap) and Wii games tend to look nice on it, its probably why I haven't gotten rid of it either since it's basically my Wii TV
Wiis look fine on modern televisions, you just need a GOOD television. Wii on my $700 32 inch 1080p Westinghouse back in the day looked like melted ass but the same console on my $3000 55 inch 4k Samsung looks amazing.
I just wana play twilight princess and pikmin 2
