XC2 exceeded expectations and sold really well. It's true that it can't match BotW or Smash for sales, but for a niche title made by 30ish people it did great.

The fact it was rushed out the door, made by 30 devs, had an assload of guest artists, and mechanics designed to artificially extended game time, I somehow doubt that price is deserved.

ARMs was Nintendo's poor attempt to recreate the magic of Splatoon, the fact it only sold a million is laughable, it was probably the biggest flop of the Switch, yet it still sold a million, because the Switch is just that big right now.
It didn't even have XC2's excuse of coming out at just the right time with holiday season and no other big games that month.

has a 7 day mechanic that can be increased to 13 days if you fully complete some story missions. Its really actually pretty cool since some bosses change depending on which day you fight them. Also the setting is super depressing similar to majora's mask. Its the end of everything. Time has stopped moving and no one can age anymore. Kids are mentally like 300 years old but are stuck in the same body, and there is a whole little scene about how everyone has lost their innocence and just wished they had a body that matched how they should be, or just be dead.
Also the combat is really fucking solid. Um, but its not the best game ever. its a 7/10, maybe 6
