This song is honestly nothing and most people in the gh scene can fc it at at least 160% speed
Mfw i didnt realize tfaf was through the fire and flames
is Guitar Hero 3 objectively the best instrument rhythm game?
EZPZ. Try Soulless 5 instead.
It’s worse than the first two so no.
>mfw raining blood
It was a peak of the fad, for me anyway. Lots of good times playing it.
>More than one guitar
>Strumming drowns out the song
>Add drums and mic
>Room sounds like a toddler smashing pots and pans.
Playing this game with a controller was more fun than playing with a guitar.
God no. It was fun for sure but the fuckhuge timing window and weird chart decisions bog it down. Also wasn't a fan of the duels, but the songs themselves were neat.
Did you guys not take out pots and pans to use them as a drum set when you were kids?
Guitar Hero 2 is far superior in every single way.
I miss Guitar Hero and Rock Band, mid to late 2000's was such a comfy period for peripheral based rhythm games
>Not liking those kino duels to unlock slash or tom morello
FFFFFFCK NNICK CAGED, FUCK SOLO AND MOST IMPORTANTLY FUCK NIGGERS

shit was fucking great
Busted out RB3 with friends a month ago and it was still just as fun. Although wish I could find a new drum kit for a reasonable price, holy shit prices are inflated now.
>bust out ps3 guitar hero controller (black les paul)
>wont connect to system
do these things not work after years of sitting? (had the batteries out)
>Huge ass timing window.
Game is a joke because this, only reason that is "hard" is due overcharting. At least have decency to post WoR.
These games died hard while Fagnite and Overmeme live on forever. Such a cruel world.
My 360 died long ago and I never got around to replacing it, I had so much god damn DLC for RB3 as well
I remember buying bottles of pepsi like crazy for the Rock Band DLC prize codes under the lids lol
Do you have the [DONGLE]?
Literally an irrelevant comparison. The rhythm game genre as a whole is still doing just fine regardless of the overall death of peripheral based rhythm games.
I haven't even played Guitar Hero and I realized it was TTFaF just from looking at the picture. Step it up.
these games died because of oversaturation, if Blizzard had released an Overwatch game every year since its release the series would've been dead by now
Calibrating these games on modern TVs is such a pain in the dick
you could exchange these for wii shop points since you couldn't make codes for specific games on the wii. i had tons of shitty wiiware games from this.
i five starred most song on the main set list in this game. i don't think i ever got better than three on this fucker
based
I could never pass that fucking intro legit. I had to use the pussy "rubber band on the green button" method. I had no issue with any other part. Could even five star it, but the physical dexterity to do that with one hand or tapping was forever beyond me.
I feel like this is partially why these games died, too. If I need to watch a convoluted tutorial to get it working, then it just isn't worth it to me. No matter how many times I did the calibration on RB3, it never felt right.
reptilia chart in 3 was fun
>not playing gitadora, the og and far superior guitar/drum game
What's your excuse?
Why are Wii Guitar Hero controllers the Clone Hero meta?
So after the drums this series pretty much had nowhere to go?
RB3 tried the keytar, but honestly it was too many god damn buttons to be fun
There was an option to only play 5 keys, similar to guitar. It'd still be its own keyboard chart. But yeah, the keyboard was a total waste. You know where the series could've went? Superior gameplay. All I remember about RB3 is its tight ass timing window.
The standard 5 note mode was pretty fun, but I agree that Pro mode was just too much info for that kind of game. As an aside it works pretty well as MIDI controller.
>All I remember about RB3 is its tight ass timing window.
literally nothing wrong with this, you fucking shitter
My only problem with its timing window was how it shrank the closer notes were to each other (or something like that, been too long), making things like blast beats and tremolo picked sections harder to combo than they should have been, like that one Motley Crue song that wasn't FC'd for a long long time.
>was a poorfag kid when GH2 came out
>Dad couldn't afford to buy the game+guitar for me but offered to buy the game separately
>faggot gamestop clerk talked him out of it by saying that "the fun of the game comes from the guitar controller"
>never got the fucking game
Boy I hope you're wrong because reading your triggered me really hard.
>Muh unhittable note window
I know you've been shilling guitar hero 2 for some reason, user, but it's really really time to stop.
can you even play it vanilla without a guitar?
First of all, I'm not whatever user you're talking about. Second of all, tighter timing window =/= unhittable. Git fucking gud and fix your sloppy timing.
Listening to some shit in house cover band ruin every song on the list? Fuck that no thank you
Woman with guitar solo > original
>cover band ruin every song on the list
you just described the concept of guitar hero in a nutshell.
If you didn’t main Metalhead then you need to get out
Based
GH2 Psychobilly > SH Psychobilly
What’s the best rock band and why is it rb2?
